They also unveiled the second legacy class, which comprised of Bearcat Wright, Dr. Jerry Graham, Haystacks Calhoun, Toots Mondt, Judy Grable, June Byers, Luther Lindsay, Farmer Burns and Rikidozan.

The show was not a sell out, with noticeable gaps in the crowd.

NXT:

Tonight is NXT's time to shine, with their pre Mania special. New Tag titles will be unveiled.

Otis Dozovic, Ruby Riot and Tucker Knight have been added to the NXT roster.

April tools:

Chris Jericho trolled the internet with an April fools gag today. He announced his Mania match was called off due to an injury. It's not. He, however, was not joking when he confirmed he will soon be finishing up with WWE, to return to music. He did though add salve to upset fans by saying he will, when free, throw in a random live appearance now and again, until he is ready to come back again later in the year.

Tournament announced:

Triple H, with help from Bayley, Alexa Bliss and Asuka, has announced a 32 woman, 17 nation, all female tournament. The competition will be a Network exclusive later this summer.

Sami speaks out:

Sami Zayn has spoken out against the Donald Trump US travel ban...

"That had a direct impact on me as well. My brother was born in Syria and, I don't want to get political now, but he's coming to WrestleMania. He's on the plane right now. Hopefully, he gets across no problem but it's a sensitive subject because it hits really close to home being of origin from one of those seven countries on the ban list. I took it very personally. I don't want to be angry. I don't want to cause a divide. I don't want to tell fans what to think or what to believe or whatever but, at the same time, some things just hit you very personally. Sometimes you have to say what's on your mind if it's something that's really important to you."

Mania boycott:

An online campaign to boycott WrestleMania has received some mainstream media attention. Fans angry with the role the company played in Donald Trump's election to be president of the USA, is at the centre of the reasoning for it, with some high profile former fans saying they wanted to punish WWE by hitting them in the pocket.

Major Mania return:

Jim Ross has signed a new WWE deal, and will be back to call a top match (Reportedly Goldberg vs Lesnar) at WrestleMania this weekend. The deal was done before he lost his wife recently. The deal will not be a full time return to the announce desk, but will see him come back for special shows to add a little bit extra to certain matches.

JR has confirmed the talks, and that his wife was excited to see him at Mania one more time, but did not confirm that he will be at the show in Orlando on Sunday.

Announcer missing Mania:

Mauro Ranallo has confirmed he will not be working WrestleMania.

Door open:

Goldberg says he will consider another WWE match in the future.

Heyman talks why Lesnar needs to do more in 2017:

"I would presume that after this Sunday my job will be to say 'ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman and I'm the advocate for the reigning, defending, Undisputed Universal Champion Brock Lesnar', and should that be the case, as a spoiler I say it will be the case, I think defending that championship will be on the table and will be on Brock Lesnar's plate, and we will probably be more visible this year than we have in the past five years in WWE, simply because there will be a title to defend, and it's a new title and you want to establish that title. The WWE Championship, we didn't have to defend that often, because it was already an established championship. But now you have two competing championships and you don't want to be the champion who isn't as visible as the other champion."

Top star retiring this weekend:

Nikki Bella has confirmed she is winding down, and will need to take time away after Mania, as her doctors have found some new issues with her neck...

''I kind of sprained my neck, and we found out some other stuff is going on, so I'm definitely going to have to take some time to heal that. But I'm cleared. I'm competing at WrestleMania. There's so much more I want to do here. So much more. I just feel like 'gosh, this sucks that I have this condition now that is probably going to stop me from doing that.'"

WWE baby:

Paige may have announced that she is pregnant, saying two will soon become three on Twitter.
