WWE are interested in signing Canadian indy star El Generico, he portrays a lucha style character...

This is him.

Former star needs surgery:

Black Bart, a former WWF Jobber to the stars, is to have his Gall Bladder removed today.

UK wrestling convention:

Goldust and Tommy Dreamer are the first names confirmed for a fan convention in Wrexham, Wales which will happen in April of next year.

See you there..

Edge:

WWE Hall Of Famer Edge has had another dig at WWE's constant pressure for him to sign a Legend's contract...

“I still love wrestling, it just doesn’t consume my life like people assume it should. To me that’s not healthy”

Wrestling great attacks WWE:

Jerry Jarrett, Father of Jeff, has attacked the Raw angle, where Paul Heyman mocked Jerry Lawler, by faking a heart attack...

“I watched WWE last night. Jerry Lawler was returning after surviving a life threatening heart attack. I sat watching the television with a feeling of pride that they were honoring the return of such a great wrestler. I sat thinking, “now this is real class”. Just when I was appreciating the class WWE was showing, it ended suddenly with a juvenile cheap heat angle,” wrote Jarrett on Facebook.

“I turned the television off and starting thinking about Linda McMahon’s hard work and great expense running for the Senate. It is exactly this kind of programming that prevented her from becoming a Senator. Wrestling should have some limits and boundaries. If you offend great portions of the audience, it is a bad angle.”

Jim Ross disagree's he said in his weekly blog...

''When one stops and thinks about it, getting angry at a talent for a matter such as this is actually pretty ignorant. But I digress.

Was the post, Lawler verbal presentation my favorite aspect of RAW? No. The King’s return was the highlight of the show for me personally. But just like any other entertainment entity all content is subjective. Some folks will like some things more than others and there are some who will downright despise specific aspects of a broadcast''.

Other's have also shared their views on the angle...

Steve Austin...

“I believe in pushing the envelope in an aggressive fashion. But when a guy damn near dies at ringside, let it go. You look at all the contributions Jerry Lawler has made in this business: from a work standpoint, a promo standpoint and then as a broadcaster. I think that’s pushing the envelope in the wrong direction. There’s better ways to go get real heat than that.”

Chris Jericho...

“I think it was pretty obvious, don’t you? I kind of expected it. Punk’s promo was awesome. It’s wrestling so you knew it would end up as an angle sooner or later. I got the same complaints when I did the alcoholic angle (earlier this year with CM Punk). It would be like being mad at “Breaking Bad” because the dad was a drug addict or something. It’s just a TV show, after all.”

Lance Storm...

“Thought it was poor. Both he and Punk are capable to get real heat, no need to sink so low. Also thought it was out of character for Punk so it hurt. Punk is about Best in World and himself. Why bother joking about heart attack it goes nowhere. Interuption was okay and in character. Fake heart attack was cheap and pointless.”

Loss to wrestling journalism:

The Wrestler, and Inside Wrestling, two magazines which had been in print since 1968, and last year were merged into a single publication have been discontinued by it's parent PWI. Pro Wrestling Illustrated will now be the only non-WWE publication in the United States.

Jim Ross:

The WWE Hall Of Famer has responded to speculation he may be about to announce his retirement from broadcasting, now that The King is back at the booth on Raw, with...

“No..I’m NOT retired. No..I’m NOT finished broadcasting. Nx assignment awaits. #WWE.”

First of two bits of big, and good news...

Bruno Sammartino - HOF:

Wrestling Legend, and arguably the greatest WW(W)F/E Champion ever, Bruno Sammartino is finally it seems open to being inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame.

In discussion with WrestlingNC.Com, Bruno says He would agree ''If the money was right'', meaning money he is owed in royalties from the company, for merchandise and an action figure they made for their classics series.

He was firm that that would have to be done before he would begin talks with the company.

He denied that it had anything to do with WWE offering to finance his biopic movie, conceding that he very much wants the movie to be made, and greatly appreciated the offer, but said he was ''Very (Financially) comfortable'' and doesn't need the money.

Bruno ended the interview saying Triple H could call him any time, to discuss the matter further.

WWE still hope to have him as the star inductee for 2013, so they have work to do, to get his demands met in time.

Stone Cold Steve Austin, ready to return:

Bruno Sammartino opening the door to WWE is not the only piece of great news today, Hall Of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin, has said that not only can he wrestle again, but that he wants to, and maybe more than just one more match.

On his injury...

“It’s not even about being cleared. I’m 100 percent fine. Once I had my fusion done in 2000 and I went into the recovery phase and then got back in the ring, everything was fine and dandy. I was just running too hard towards the end and had a few issues. It was time to get out. Passing the physical isn’t the issue.”

On his opponent being CM Punk...

“I think John Cena would be a guy as well. I really like John. He is the face of that company right now and he has done a hell of a job and I got a lot of respect for him. You look at a guy like Triple H, that was one of my favorite guys to work in the ring with. Such a ring general and such a pro. Just an easy night at the office. Undertaker is kind of beat to shreds, kind of like me. Those would be a few guys off the top of my head. Would it just be CM Punk? No. Is CM Punk at the top of the list? Yes!”

Alberto / Ricardo interview:

Highlights...

On Jerry Lawler's heart scare...

“We were hearing everyone kind of panic and it was very scary. You’re at a point where he basically died… It was definitely a scary moment.”

On Punk as champion...

“Punk is an excellent wrestler and an excellent performer and I think he’s doing a great job.”

On being a heel...

“This is what I love to do. I’m just having the best time of my life being a heel. I want to be a heel for the rest of my career but I’m not sure if that’s possible.”

Nasty bump for Cody:

A match was taped last night for Main Event, between Kane and Daniel Bryan, and Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes, during the match Kane back body dropped Cody over the ropes, he landed hard on his shoulder, and may have also hit his head, he tried to get back into the ring but was knocked off the apron, he did not sell the move, which led to medical staff rushing to the ringside area.

Bret Hart:

WWE.Com asked Hall Of Famer Bret Hitman Hart who he would have liked to have wrestled from the Attitude Era...

'If I could go back in time, I would have loved to have done more with Triple H. He blossomed into a bigger star after I left.

I regret, looking back now, that we didn’t have more matches, or better matches or at least one pay-per-view match where we could have really showed our best stuff — or at least, I did. He’s a guy that he and I had some situation together, and I think it worked well on Monday Night Raw, but we never really had the chance to show what we could really do''.

Where are they now?:

WWE caught up with former 3MW man Rosey, and have discovered he is now an owner of a restaurant in Cincinatti called Boi BBQ, he is scheduled to start the business in December.

CM Punk:

I know what the show CM Punk is going to be a guest star on is...

I might tell you... later...

The Miz:

WWE are to turn The Miz face, they say he is one of the company's best talkers, he has been a heel for so long, there is nothing left for him to do, but more than that, he is one of WWE's hardest working stars for charity and they feel more charities would want to use him and benefit from the dedication he has shown to those he does represent currently, if he had a different on screen persona.

A feud with Antonio Cesaro is planned for 2013.
