Trump snubbed:

HHH and Stephanie McMahon have explained why Donald Trump was left out of a VT of famous faces that have appeared on Raw over the years...

 "WWE is non partisan. We are the greatest combination of every culture, gender, socio economic background. We made a strategic decision to not put forth any type of partisan politics at all, it's a decision we made in our programming, not just in our sizzle."

Jericho recalls argument with Hunter over KO:

"I came up with The Festival Of Friendship in Las Vegas a few months before. I knew exactly where we had to do it and The Festival Of Friendship was my idea from the start, we went over this and Vince approved it. It was rehearsed, not rehearsed, but it was a done deal. Then, in that day in Vegas, Vince wasn't there and when that happens, things always change. And Triple H wanted Owens to just attack me, like out of nowhere. He goes, 'it's too long. Why wouldn't he attack you earlier?' And I said, 'it's just the drama. It's Game Of Thrones. It's The Red Wedding.' I said, 'it's the drama!' I pull out The List Of KO and I'm like, 'why is my name on this?' and then, there's the realization for me and the audience, like, 'oh, no!' and here he comes. And Triple H is like, 'no, it's too comical.' I said, 'it's not too comical if I don't deliver it comical! 'Oh, it's The List Of KO! Why am I on this?' No, it's drama because I don't ever see The List Of KO, I just see, 'oh, a new list! That's great! The audience see The List Of KO, but I don't. 'How come my name is on this?' List Of KO. Realization, 'oh f--k.'' I actually had to have a pretty heated debate with Hunter about that. And I like Hunter a lot. He's a good friend of mine. This is not a Jericho versus Hunter thing. That was done a long time ago. It was a very heated debate and I said, 'listen, I'll call Vince right now. This is the way to do it.' I think he just kind of threw up his hands and walked away. And afterwards, he even texted me, he was like, 'you were right. That was great. You totally made the right call on that.'"

ROH:

ROH have named Cody Rhodes their wrestler of 2017.

Alum ill:

Fred 'Tugboat / Typhoon' Ottman is reportedly very unwell. The man widely recognised as the nicest man in the sport is best remembered for his disastrous and now iconic WCW debut as Shockmaster. Fellow workers have taken to social media saying it is time for prayers and asked fans to send them to him.

WWE UK:

UK fans will be able to watch Mixed Match on the WWE Network. British fans had made the company aware that the Facebook watch feature is not available on our side of the pond, so alternate arrangements were made for the 12 week show.

The company have also announced that each team will be fighting for a prize purse which will be donated to a charity of each teams choice, should they win.

WWE vs Impact:

An indie promotion have quickly billed a booked match between Pete Dunne and Austin Aries as a battle of the promotions. AA has returned to Impact this week and went for gold right of the bat, while Dunne holds the WWE UK gold.

Roddy vs Razor:

Brother Love has recalled why Piper replaced Razor at Mania 12:

"Razor Ramon didn't want to work with Goldust so Vince said to just cut that match off. He didn't want Razor to ruin WrestleMania. If Razor wasn't into it he felt that he wasn't going to give it his all, and them going out and invest all this money into a Street Fight then why do that if he isn't going to build up the right way? Roddy Piper would always credit me for bringing him back and coming up with this idea. It was an idea born out of necessity and not having anything else with him and with Goldust. The whole original idea of bringing Roddy Piper back at all was to do something different with Gorilla Monsoon and to have a WrestleMania moment for Roddy Piper. A lot of things lined up; the stars and the moon lined up and we were all elated, especially because whenever you think about letting Roddy or leaving Roddy to his own device things can sometimes get a little hokey and not exactly what you wanted. I thought everybody in that match was phenomenal."

WWE to Fox:

If WWE were to return to Fox they would have to reduce Raw back to two hours because of the news broadcast on the channel. Any talks are on hold for now as Fox are also interested in UFC, and WWE do not want to be on the same network as the MMA group.

WWE file against musician:

WWE have filed an opposition to Travis Scott's new Cactus Jack record label. They do not currently own the TM, but have launched an official objection to his claim for the name made famous by Mick Foley.

Otunga exonerated:

David Otunga has been cleared of accusations of domestic violence made by his former partner Jennifer Hudson.

WWE school:

A US college is offering a course based on WWE...

"This course examines the cutting-edge business and artistic presentation practices of a global leader in live entertainment, World Wrestling Entertainment. Students will review the history covering the professional wrestling business,its talent development, theatrical influences/production practices, event/facility management operations as well as WWE's innovative branding, marketing and mass media strategies."

New babies:

Impact old boy Jesse Godderz has become a father to a boy called Lucas. WWE's Maria is having a girl.

Match banned:

Pop have banned Impact airing a barbed wire match. The match will be aired via Twitch instead.

Royal Rumble:

Enzo Amore vs Cedric Alexander is booked for the Rumble. The event will be 5 hours long.

Retirement:

Paige's dream of being a part of history this month is already likely gone after her recent neck injury, now PWI claim to have received word that she has been told she will not be able to wrestle again. The news was broken to the 25 year old English woman on Monday. She has suffered the same injury that cost Edge his career. The injury happened just weeks after returning to WWE at a live when Sasha Banks kicked her in the back as she was walking away from her. Paige was not expecting the blow and went down hard.
