WWE big announcement:

As expected, WWE's Big announcement was the official launch of the WWE Network. The 24/7 channel will stream all 12 of WWE's PPV event's (Including WrestleMania) for $9.99 a month and launches on February 24 2014.

One note of interest was WWE Hall Of Famer Hulk Hogan reportedly being in attendance for the press conference, he was seen backstage with Big Show, however Hogan has since denied being there on his Twitter.

Kaitlyn:

Kaitlyn quit WWE because a couple of big story lines she had been promised had been pulled with little notification, and she grew tired of being messed around.

Her best friend AJ Lee paid tribute and said goodbye via Twitter...

Mae Young:

Apparently someone has reported the death of WWE Hall Of Famer Mae Young, the reports of her death are premature, she is still alive, although very, very ill. She was today taken off life support as her health continues to deteriorate.

William Regal:

WWE are making a retrospective on the career of William Regal, which will air on the Network.

Deal done:

WWE have confirmed coming to an agreement for the services of the Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania 30, probably a Hall Of Fame induction, but that is at this time not confirmed.

The same is not the case for Goldberg, reports he has signed a $1 Million deal have been denied emphatically by the former World Champion.

Chris Benoit:

Chris Benoit matches and footage will be aired on the WWE Network, but with an advisory message, the message will read...

Batista:

Batista has signed a two year active wrestler contract with WWE.

Ryback:

More heat on Ryback, a comment he made on Raw about his being hoarse of voice being the fault of Lilian Garcia is apparently a backstage insult made at Lilian, who some say has a horse face.

WWE Movies are one of a number of companies bidding to release the now complete Bruno Sammartino movie.
