Austin Aries on retirement:

TNA star Austin Aries says he was considering retiring from wrestling in 2011, before a phone call from TNA offering him the chance to earn a contract...

"Yeah, you know, just transitioning, thinking about things to do with my life. Sometimes they say if you're in something too close for too long you have to take a step back and get a bigger, a better perspective of it. So, I just felt at maybe that time, taking a step back from wrestling and just focusing elsewhere was good for me on a personal level. But, you know, fate intervened and TNA gave me a call and said come on down for this X Division showcase we're doing. We're having basically a tournament of sorts to see who's going to get a contract. I felt it was an opportunity to definitely take advantage of and I did."

And on AJ Styles...

''On a personal level, I want AJ Styles to do whatever is best for him and his family, and if that's coming back to TNA that would be awesome. If that's working elsewhere, I completely understand that. If that will happen, I have no idea. I guess we'll find out. We all have to stay tuned and see what happens."

WWE Network commitment:

WWE have committed to hosting their PPV events for free on their Network for all time, not just for the first year after it's launch, this will include WrestleMania.

They have also expanded on the content of the channel. They will add and remove 5 -10 hours of new footage every week, some footage from the 80's, very little from defunct territorial promotions, it will be mainly from the 90's and 00's and will showcase WWE, WCW and ECW events that do not fit the parameters of DVD usable footage.

They deserve it:

Reports that Emma, and soon Paige being promoted to the main WWE roster is due to the retirement of Kaitlyn, is untrue, WWE say. They had long planned to give the two their debuts this year.

WrestleMania stunt:

WWE have two idea's for a crowd stunt at this years WrestleMania. The first is an idea they have wanted to do for 2 years, They would have a Rey Mysterio vs Sin Cara match and get everyone in attendance to wear a lucha mask to break the world record.

The other idea is to have 75,000 people performing a giant ''Yes'' chant.

Bryan's nixed turn:

WWE insiders have confirmed that Daniel Bryan was re turned following the sports team in Michigan doing the ''Yes'' Chant. The company were embarrassed and surprised by the amount of attention the video got, and felt they had no choice but to drop the angle. The story line was set to go on through WrestleMania season before the re-turn and match vs Bray.

That match, brought forward to The Royal Rumble, between Daniel Bryan and Bray Wyatt is ''Off'' according to WWE insiders. This follows Daniel Bryan's concussion. Vince McMahon is said to be very disappointed to lose Daniel from TV, one staffer saying he is in ''Awe'' of the response from fans, and ''Loves'' the star.

The Wyatt Family wrestled their match without Bray, who wrestled later vs Big Show instead of Bryan.

WWE star Sheamus has had his Twitter hacked by Drew McIntyre and Robbie Brookside, they promise to have some fun at his expense.

New WWE Title's:

The Bella Twins are, and have being for some time, campaigning for the reinstatement of the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles, Nikki saying...

"We're all so talented and creative and it'd be great to show that in a new way."

They have been wanting this for years, she said, and their departure from WWE a couple of years ago followed WWE rejecting the idea after a very brief consideration of the plan.

WWE Alum rules out Rumble return:

Shelton Benjamin says he is going to have surgery on a long term injury and will not be able to take a spot in this years Royal Rumble match. The injury is to a nerve in his elbow, that he says causes lack of feeling, movement problems, muscle spasms and could lead to the loss of use of his hand.
