How to become a WWE Superstar:


Triple H has told Yahoo Sports what he looks for when hiring WWE stars...

"I will take someone with charisma and desire over anything else. It's hard to teach someone how to be charismatic. You ever met that person who has something about them? That's the biggest factor, I think. Nobody pays to just see a wrestler. You pay to see superstars."

WWE Network

WWE spent $40 Million on development of the WWE Network, they say they will have earned the money back by the end of this calender year. However that is dependent on not losing PPV incomes from other media outlets.

They have also released this ad promoting NXT. NXT will air live on the channel...



WWE sign TV deal:


WWE have signed with CTH in Thailand to broadcast all of it's TV shows.


TNA in transition:


Dixie Carter says she is personally looking for new talent to sign for TNA as the company builds for it's future. The company acknowledges that many of the stars that built the company, have, or will soon leave the promotion, and TNA need to have new stars ready to take the spaces vacated by the likes of Jeff Jarrett, AJ Styles, Sting (Whose deal expires this month), and Kurt Angle (Whose deal expires in the late summer of 2014).

Michelle McCool:


WWE Alum, and wife of The Undertaker, Michelle McCool is recovering from surgery on a long standing injury to her wrist that she picked up during her ring days. She says the constant discomfort she has suffered has finally been dealt with.

WWE are to release an action figure line in partnership with Scooby Doo to promote the WWE Scooby Doo Movie.


AJ Lee:


Magazine Maxim has a poll on who it's readers want to appear on their cover in 2014, and current WWE Diva's Champion AJ is dominating the poll with 63% of the vote.


Eric Bischoff on WWE Network:


Eric Bischoff says the DirecTV threat of dropping WWE PPV events when the Network launches could be great news for TNA, UFC and other sports promotions...

"Direct TV dropping WWE PPVs would open up some programming and promotional real estate for other producers who havent gotten a lot of promotional love. Could be a win/win/win. Interesting to watch this unfold"


Huge announcement coming on Raw?:


Rowdy Roddy Piper is breaking his neck to spoil an announcement he says is coming on Monday's Raw, hinting with little, if any subtlety that it will be the return of Hulk Hogan to the promotion, and that the match between Hogan and himself is on the cards for WrestleMania 30.

Today is the 21st Birthday of Raw, the first show was on this day in 1993.


Ryback's 5 year plan:


"I see myself here in the WWE, hopefully leading the pack of a whole new generation of young, hungry talent traveling around the world entertaining the world like the WWE can. Id like to have some movies under my belt, work with sponsorships, charities and get my name out there. I'm excited for the future. There are big things in store for Ryback in the next five years."

Brock Lesnar will work 6 further dates in early 2014, 3 Raw's, The Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania 30.

Paige is injured, but WWE have not said what the injury is, also Sami Zayn is currently using crutches after tweaking his knee.
