Roddy Piper talks Mania 30 hopes:
"This is WrestleMania 30. I've pinned Hogan once and he's never pinned me. From a fan's perspective, and WWE Universe and Vince, it never had closure. The business that would be done, the interviews and stuff would be coming from the heart. We could try to outraise the bar of the WWE entertainment machine in our sport, if they let us go toe to toe and don't script us. The fans will see really how it got started and why, and then they'll see the conclusion. They are asking can I get in shape. I am already in shape! They are asking Hogan. But there is a fear, I guess, of whether we can pull off the performance."

Ziggler reveals reason for de-push:
It was an interview about Randy Orton that caused Dolph Ziggler's burial on WWE TV around SummerSlam last year... This is what he said...
"I've made it clear; I'm not patient at all - several times. I've been very vocal about my position on the card and in the company. I'm not trying to say 'Hey, everybody sucks and I'm great!' But I love doing this, and at some point you go 'OK, It's not my time right now and I got to figure something out' And when it's time, that's when I must go out there and make as huge of an impact as I can and let everyone know 'I dare you to follow that, I dare you try something better.' And when they don't (counter or match what I'm doing in the ring) I'm very outspoken about it and it can get me into very hot water (with the company). Then you never know where we're going. Everybody can be just so outspoken about taller guys, and guys like Randy Orton being the face of the WWE, the WWE Championship. I dare you to put me in a back alley with Randy Orton or someone like that. I guarantee I'm not afraid of someone taller."
He was also critical of John Cena in candid interviews around the same time, the issue here maybe the threat of violence against Orton IDK.
Batista:
As of this writing, and despite the advertising botch that spoilt Batista's planned surprise Rumble return, he is still penciled in to win the Royal Rumble match, and to go on to face the WWE World Champion at Mania.
Also, in an interview, he says he needed the break from WWE after breaking his back in his last WWE match in 2010, and that the resulting surgery saved his life.
And his movie career will also continue, he has landed a horror movie, that will also star Brooke Hogan, entitled LA Slasher, here is the blurb...
''Incensed by the tabloid culture which celebrates it, the L.A. Slasher publicly abducts a series of reality TV stars, while the media and general public in turn begin to question if society is better off without them."
Mae Young RIP:

WWE sign deal:

Ric Flair:
Ric Flair has pulled out of an appearance to go to the Rumble, he will be on the panel. He was to be a guest starter at a motor race this weekend.
Triple H told Flair he would need to deal with his issues before the company would use him again, but they made an exception for old school Raw, and he was on his ''Super best behaviour'', so offered him the guest spot at the Rumble. His issues are not over, he still has an arrest warrant outstanding on him in Carolina, and has a court case in the state later this month.
Where Are They Now?:
This month's guest... Snitsky.
Jim Cornette slams Triple H:
"Well, I would love to give you an opinion, but I am clean and sober from WWE programming for several years now, and I do read what is going on, but it seems like it's more of the same. In my opinion, he was never the star, he was always the guy that worked with the guy that drew the money, and he continues to push his boring self down the people's throats. You know, what more can I say, I haven't seen it first hand, but at least he got a haircut."
He went on to remember the late Owen Hart and British Bulldog...
"You know Owen and Davey together, Davey Boy Smith, they were like two children. They just had to top each other. We would be doing promos, we would be standing there in front of the camera and all of a sudden I'd look to the left of me and Owen all of a sudden was two inches taller than both me and Davey, and we were all sort of the same height. You would look down and he would be standing on a roll of duct tape. Then you look over and Bulldog would be about three inches taller and he'd be standing on a box. Then I'd look down because I'd feel something and while we were standing there staying concentrated on the camera, Owen had one of those spray bottles and he would spray the front of my pants, so it would look like I had p*ssed myself on camera. If Owen or Davey, either one if they came to you and gave you a million dollars, you'd be looking for the printing press. It had to be a rib. It got to the point where they ribbed so much, that nobody would believe anything."
