Backstage heat:

Rosa Mendes will not be brought back onto the road until She deals with her issues with alcohol.

Despite a losing streak there is no heat on Antonio Cesaro at the minute, creative are just getting bored pushing the same people and are shuffling the pack a little bit, he is an unfortunate victim IMO after a great run as US Champ.

The Rock vs WWE:

This won't go away, WWE insiders have criticized The Rock today for ''Not doing right by the company'' during his last run and have said there is a ''Major disconnect'' between the two sides.

However this may be just sour grapes, because no matter what The Rock does there is always someone in WWE having a pop, and the feeling is the two sides will work together again, but only after a smoothing of the waters.

Rick Bognar has discussed his short WWE career...

On advice from Shawn Michaels...

"Actually, Shawn Michaels, a lot of guys really didn't like him, Bret didn't like him, unless that was all a work because Bret kept that sorta stuff to himself. Shawn walked up to me and goes 'D'ya mind if I give you a little criticism, a little positive criticism?' I told him sure, you know this guy was one of my idols and now he wants to teach me something. 'Well here's how Scott used to do the Razor punch' and he showed me how to do it. I was starstruck man, that he was teaching me something and I always appreciated that. He was always really cool to me. Which was surprising given that he was good friends with Scott. But he probably thought there's a kid trying to make it in the business and wanted to help me out. I was never going to be able to replace Scott as that character. It's like trying to bring in another Hulk Hogan, you just can't do it."

On His release...

"I didn't find out. They just kind of sent us home after a tour in Memphis and I sorta saw the writing on the wall. I actually phoned Vince. I'd saved his home number. So I called him and I said 'Hey it's Rick Titan here from Calgary, Alberta, Canada and it looks like my contract's up and I just wanted to see if you wanted to do anything else with the character?' All he said to me was, 'Rick, please don't call me at this number again.' That was it. I saw my dream was destroyed and he didn't give a damn."

TNA:

TNA have today launched a new website dedicated to the women of the company…

Hulk Hogan:

The WWE Hall Of Famer has been granted a temporary restraining order against Gawker, meaning they can no longer air his sex tape on their site, he still wants $100 Million in damages.

Goldust on Cody:

Goldust is again pushing for a one on one match vs his younger Brother, he now wants a backlot brawl 2 at SummerSlam this year…

‘’Yeah. WrestleMania 28, I was really pushing it for it that whole year. My shoulder was ready but the writers were like, 'Ahh, his shoulder's not ready.' So, I think they convinced Vince. But, it was actually brought to the table in the meeting because Cody didn't have an opponent about a month and a half out of WrestleMania 28. It was brought to the table and Vince just said no. What can you do? You can argue it or whatever, but that wasn't the direction they were going with Cody and I understood that. I tried it again this year via Twitter, but I got let go and stuff like that. Can't really do anything when you're not an employee of the company or under contract. Goldust has a great name and I think we built some interest up especially after the Rumble and the reaction I got at the Rumble. People just ate that s--t up. I thought that might lead to a WrestleMania 29 match. But, it didn't. Right now, I've always wanted to do WrestleMania, but I'm considering SummerSlam. Since, SummerSlam is in L.A. every year just about. I came up with the idea and actually presented it to Cody about the Backlot Brawl II. I haven't really pushed it as much, I just mentioned one little thing on Twitter. I'm fixing to bring that to the table and see if Vince would be interested in accepting Backlot Brawl.’’

Kurt Angle talks beating Lesnar:

He says he schooled Brock before a WWE show, when the two had an amateur wrestling match just for the boys, and he won easily…

"Definitely. Let's remember it was wrestling. A lot of people say oh, you couldn't beat him in an MMA fight. Well, it wasn't fighting. It was wrestling. I was a much better wrestler than Brock. He was big, strong, quick, smart, but his technique was a little more simplified. I was a much better technician. I beat him by technique. He weighed about 320 at the time. I was about 215 and I was giving up over 100 pounds. I had a fun time schooling Brock in front of the wrestlers. It was pretty cool."

TNA Impact SPOILERS!!! for 2 May:

* Chris Sabin vs Zema Ion vs Sonjay Dutt

* Rob Terry vs Robbie E, Jessie Godderz and Joey Ryan in a handicap match.

* Hulk Hogan promo.

Jay Lethal turns down TNA:

He says he turned TNA down for a one night only PPV match...

"I will admit, they called me for the first one, but I'm under contract with Ring Of Honor, so I think they got the hint and I wasn't called back for any of the other ones. I'm under contract, so there's nothing I can do anyway."

Today's News

Goldust interview:

On his first WWE run in 1990/1...

''It was very cool. Back then, they still had tryout matches and I worked with Black Bart as a tryout match. I guess Vince [McMahon] liked it so we kind of just worked from there. I got picked up and signed and dad [Dusty Rhodes] was already there. So, they worked me into their angle, I guess. That was cool, to be involved with [Ted] DiBiase and pop and Virgil.''

On learning from Ted DiBiase...

''I don't recall beating him, I just recall lasting the ten minutes which was really cool. And the people really responded well to it. I just shut my mouth. Young guys today just need to keep their mouths shut and listen to the veterans. But, in our business today, there's not too many veterans left. So, it's a bunch of green guys going at it. But, I kept my mouth shut because that's how I was brought up and raised. You just go out there and do what they tell you to do and you learn. That's what I did, I just listened to Ted and he took me through that thing, man. It was awesome.''

On why he went back to WCW so soon...

''Dad did. Dad was going back to WCW -- I didn't know it at that time but at the Royal Rumble where we did our business with Ted and Virgil, at the end there, dad said, 'Why don't you ask Vince for your release and come with me to WCW?'. So, I did and he granted me that. Dad tells this story to everybody still to this day. He's like, I walked off and I thanked Vince and him and dad we're still talking. I'm out getting my bags or whatever it was and Vince said, 'That guy there, you're taking him with you to WCW and that's fine. But, he comes back here, I'm going to pull him from you and make him a star.''

On The creation of Goldust...

''Well, let's see, I went to WCW and had the infamous back-of-the-truck match (*Note) and got let go from there. I was sitting at home for about 6-8 months trying to figure out what the hell I was going to do. Because I was still pretty young at that point. Bruce Pritchard called me out of the blue one day and he said, 'Hey Dustin, I got Vince McMahon here. We'd like to run a character by you and see if you'd be interested in doing it. Are you sitting down?' I said, 'I guess so'. So, I sat down and he kind of explained the character and he threw out that word 'androgynous' -- and I had no idea what the f-ck that meant. But I'm just agreeing with him -- yeah, yeah, yeah -- and at this point, me and my dad were having some trying times. We weren't talking and I was searching and kind of looking to do something on my own. I really wanted to step out, you know, at that point. Let's get this thing rolling. So, he explained the character and I agreed to it and all that. So, he was going to fire me up and start putting it together. Getting off the phone, I had to go to the dictionary and look up androgynous because I had no idea what the hell that meant. And I laughed, I said, 'Well, let's do this. I'm going to put my 110% into it. Vince is backing it, he's behind it and he's pushing it. Great, let's do it.' So, we kind of went from there and it just grew. It took a good six, seven months to figure out the character. Plus, I had been babyface for so long that I didn't know how to be a heel. So, I had to learn that and learn this new character. And all this WWE/WWF stuff was very new to me because I had been with WCW. So, I had to learn the new way of how things work. But, I'm "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes, I can do anything. So, it took me about six or seven months to learn that heel way and learn this androgynous character. Then, once I finally agreed to step it forward to the edge and take it to the next level, it really snapped. It really worked. I didn't turn back, I just went straight ahead.

(*) This match became infamous, both men bladed during the match, and both lost their jobs with WCW as a result.

The Rock:

Rosa Mendes:

Rosa was sent home from the European tour because She was...

"Partying too much on the tour,"

And was...

''A m ess''

According to a WWE insider.

She has a history of this and some are questioning her WWE future, also the futures of the team She manages Primo And Epico are being questioned. They are highly rated as solid match workers, but WWE feel they do not have the charisma or the right appearance to make it, that is why they are not promoted within WWE.

Nikki, the next McCool?:

Nikki Bella is said to be well liked in the back, despite her relationship with John Cena.

It is a very different situation than Michelle McCool, who faced "tremendous heat" in the back during her career, because She felt bulletproof due to her relationship with The Undertaker.

Other workers felt she was pushed further and faster than her talent deserved because of who she was with, not what she could do, McCool always denies this.

Angle accuses WWE:

Kurt Angle says WWE are blocking TNA from performing in his home town of Pittsburgh...

"This is real special for me because this is kind of my homecoming. Due to some issues with the other company [WWE] we couldn't really book any venues in Pittsburgh. The Kovalchick Center is the perfect place for TV and we've been there before, this past year so Indiana, PA is the place we're going to have it. If it all goes well, God willing, we'll be back in the next six months and do it all over again. But, it's a great live show. This is the fourth one we've done so far since we decided to go on the road. We've done San Antonio, Chicago. We're going to do Boston, Slammiversary next month. We did Jonesboro, Arkansas so they've been very successful. We expect this one to be as well. So, we're on the road for good now. No more in studio at the Universal Studios and Disneyland, Disney World. We need a fresh crowd. We need a fresh crowd every week if we're going to do this right."

The Rock retires?:

The Rock has been asked about his WWE future, he said that his match at WrestleMania 29 ''Possibly'' was his last ever.

He went on to explain that after he returned as a guest 2 years ago he sat down with Vince McMahon and they thrashed out a 3 year plan where Rock would work 3 Mania's in a row, the interviewer then joked ''Does that mean we can expect Rock / Cena 3 next year''. The Rock responded by confirming that ''No'' the original plan was for a Rock vs Brock match at WrestleMania 30.

He said if Mania 29 was the end then Cena was ''Hands Down'' the right man to end his career against.

He hinted that the reason he is considering stopping is the risk of damaging his acting career because of the Mania injury. He added that he never really suffered from injuries during his career, but he was hurt in both of his Mania matches vs Cena, the most recent one a serious injury, and the potential affect the injury could have on his movie career may be too big a risk for him to take.

"Everyone please pray big time as his lab results from earlier today show he is malnourished thus they are putting in a PIC line in his arm so he can be given IV nutrients 24/7. Doctors are having difficulty stabilizing his blood sugar, he keeps dropping so low according to his wife that he is very very weak. He does have an obstruction of some sort in his bowel or colon area and they are trying to clear it. If it doesn't clear soon, this is day 8 in a Wyoming hospital, they are talking about surgery which is a last resort of course. Surgery would mean losing part or most of your colon, side effects from anaesthea especially when your immune system is so weak, and/or bleeding out as his 10 year old transplanted liver is in cirrosis stage, something that is very normal for a liver that old transplanted no matter how well you watch yourself. The bills are mounting and thanks to a great fan who turned me on to a fundraising site we are trying to raise funds for Billy.''

"Towards the end, wrestling took off during the making of the movie and I think Vince regretted letting me do this, because he didn't have ownership of it. Originally Vince offered to fund the movie but I told him it's a documentary and you can't have the subject matter be the funder of the documentary. During the course of the filming, the WWE took off and became very mainstream and at a certain point, one of the CEO's... I was about to film the Royal Rumble match and I knew I needed that match. I told them like two months in advance that I'd be filming on this day and they said fine. The CEO called up and said 'you're not gonna be allowed to film, filming's over.' I said it was unfair and I finally got to Vince. I said, 'I know you too well. You're becoming your character, you tell me in your heart you know this is the right thing to do and you're not screwing me over. Wrestling's riding high and all this stuff and everyone's kissing your ass right now, but you know it goes up and it goes down and I was here when it was down and when it goes down again, I'll still be here.' So he agreed and said, 'Alright, but that's it, this is the last day.' I remember telling my crew, 'We gotta get everything cos we'll never be allowed back here.'"

On Jake The Snake's reaction...

"I told him the same thing I told everyone, 'This is a documentary about professional wrestling, showing these guys as real human beings.' I said it would probably go direct to video because originally we thought it would go straight to video. But there was none of this that he claimed we were doing it for charity or an anti drug thing. I've never spoken with Jake since. I know he's threatened me."

On a Potential follow up...

"They kept asking me to do Beyond The Mat 2 and I have extra footage. I just didn't think it would be as good. As a wrestling fan, wrestling fans are always being ripped off by promoters and I didn't wanna contribute to that. I felt an allegiance to other fans. I thought if I do anything else, I'd want it to be something worth people putting down their hard earned money for."

Triple H talks WWE's future:

"Well for me, one of the ideas is no matter where we go or what we do in addition to this, this for me would be the hub. If you were any place on the globe, wanting to get to the WWE, your destination of where you want to get to get there should be Orlando and to this facility. No matter what we do, [for example] when we go to England, we're doing it now, this Monday we're in London for TV, we'll be looking at talent there when we're Europe. You know, if there are people that we think have the ability then we work on bringing them here and we'll be working on bringing them to Orlando to train here. It truly is global and it's bringing them from everywhere, but this will be the hub. I can guarantee that."

He has also said he should be good to go for his match vs Brock at the next PPV.
