TNA release talent, need to make major edits:

Lucha Underground have successfully challenged TNA signing Hernandez from them. TNA have released the wrestler, and will now have to edit him out of weeks worth of TV's that he was involved in, that is still to go to air. TNA had tried to come to a financial agreement to get LU to go away, but they refused to give up on their man.

BattleGround:

Rumours are rife that a major star will appear at this Sunday's PPV, and will continue on Raw the night after to start an angle for a SummerSlam match...

Another match has had to be shelved however, Ryback was injured on Raw, and now cannot defend the Intercontinental Championship. He has a Staph infection in his knee, and must remain in hospital for the next few days to be monitored.

TNA have reportedly confirmed to their talent that their TV deal with Destination America will end in September, and that they are already looking for a new deal elsewhere.

Angle rushed into emergency surgery:

Kurt Angle was on his way to the airport for a trip to the UK when he started experiencing pain in his limbs and began struggling for breath, his wife rushed him to the hospital, where doctors realised fluid had built up in his spinal cord, after his recent surgery. He was taken straight into surgery to have the fluid drained, and is now recovering from his ordeal.

Why exec was fired:

It is being reported that the final straw for Lisa Fox was losing the bidding war for the Paul Boesch wrestling library to the new NWA streaming service. Feeling is the tapes were easily affordable for WWE, but she took her eyes off the ball, and NWA snuck in to snipe them.

Sting will be back with WWE at SummerSlam, not confirmed that he will be working a match as yet, but speculation has already started to grow, given the other star that is returning for the Summer special.

Jim Ross feels WWE cannot continue to portray Stardust as a heel, after the death of his father, despite Cody adamantly wanting to continue as he was before...

"I feel it's going to be challenging for WWE to position Cody Rhodes as a villain after the passing of his father Dusty Rhodes which WWE admirably acknowledged."

He also predicted the returning great at BattleGround will interfere in the WWE title match, and would face Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, as the heel.
