Today's News

WWE Japan:

The WWE crew were caught up in an Earthquake last night, and also travel problems due to a major storm in the country. John Cena and Bray Wyatt had to fly from Tokyo to New York, and then head straight to a Madison Square Garden show.

WWE also signed Kenta to an NXT deal, which pleases me greatly... huge fan of this guy, hopefully he won't spend too much time at the PC, and will be on WWE TV ASAP.

Triple H on signing...

"Kenta is an incredible performer who brings the crowd to its feet when he steps into the ring. WWE's signing of Kenta reflects our continued dedication to creating a diverse roster that appeals to our global fan base."

Kenta said of the news...

"I am humbled to join WWE's NXT division and look forward to honing my craft with the global leader in sports-entertainment''.

ROH:

ROH have decided not to use Matt Hardy any more after he appeared for TNA in New York, there is some tensions between ROH and TNA at the moment due to TNA tapping up some of their top talent through former ROH man Davey Richards, who fell out with many in ROH towards the end of his time with them. Despite becoming a PPV company themselves, their financial status means they would find it near impossible to compete in a bidding war over the talent TNA are chasing.

Daniel Bryan:

WWE will release Daniel Bryan's autobiography next April.

Santino Marella:

WWE Top 10 this week features Santino's greatest moments.

BattleGround:

Dean Ambrose vs Seth Rollins has been added to the card.

John Cena:

WWE are touting John Cena as the greatest champion in their history, and plan to make this current reign the biggest yet for the former Doctor Of Thuganomics, could that mean it will be his last?.

WWE cuts:

WWE have decided where the savings demanded by Vince McMahon will be made, they will stop travelling first class and will travel coach class as they travel the US, as well as internationally. They will scale back on the hospitality and catering service for the crew, but will not stop completely, and will implement a hiring slow down, but as seen last night, not a complete freeze in new signings.

Hart / Flair feud:

Natalya says a recent NXT match healed the rift between Bret Hart and Ric Flair, that had gone on for decades...

"I'm actually getting goose bumps talking about it. It was about honoring and representing two legacies. And it was the first time my uncle Bret and Ric Flair kind of reunited in decades. They haven't always had a great relationship . . . It connected Bret and Ric in a way they never connected before . . . It was one of the moments I'll never forget."
