Today's News

Paul Bearer:

Has named his 3 favourite current wrestlers...

“CM Punk is outstanding. I put CM Punk above Cena. I never knew him until I came back when I got kidnapped by Edge. He has the mentality and the ability and the athleticism to perform. He picked up all of that on his own, from Taker and Kane and talking with those guys. He is like a sponge and he just picks up everything. I think he is fantastic. Cena is fantastic too, but Punk is, in my estimation, No. 1 on the roster.

“Daniel Bryan was in developmental when I was going to a different territory each week. He came from Shawn Michaels’ school. Shawn is one of the best in the business, and he taught Daniel Bryan right. He is not a CM Punk, but he is pretty close. He is really good at one he does.

“Dolph Ziggler…he had to grow on me. I had never heard of him before and he looks so much like Billy Gun. Certain things he does in the ring…I see Billy Gunn. He’s not Billy Gunn, but he is a fantastic performer. I have nothing bad to say about any of these guys – they are all really good at what they do.”

He also discussed his relationship with The Undertaker and Kane...

“They are such great performers, such great athletes. Such great men, gentlemen in general. I am truly humbled that I have been allowed to be associated with them for all these years,” Bearer said. “When me and Taker first started, his first WrestleMania was my first WrestleMania, so we’ve really been together all that time. I get asked, would you have thought then, that he’d be still going in 2012? Hell no, I wouldn’t then and I’m sure that he wouldn’t have either. In the early years, me and Taker were together so much, I mean all the time. We had a very special relationship and a very special bond. It was such a perfect chemistry, a perfect meant-to-be thing. We were meant to be for each other, but we had no idea it would last this long.”

WWE developmental:

WWE say Skyler Moon has not been released, despite being entered into rehab, They have also changed their minds and decided to reject Shaul Guerrero's resignation request.

WWE on women's wrestling:

The general viewpoint among people in WWE is that there are two types of women who join the sports-entertainment organization. There are models who use the company as a stepping stone toward fame due to its substantial television presence. And then there are those who truly love wrestling, with Beth Phoenix and Natalya being the prime examples. However, it is said that the girls who perform for the love of the sport get easily frustrated because there is no reward for being talented in the ring, not to mention that they receive minimal television time to showcase their abilities. The model types are willing to wrestle for a few years, with the hope it leads to a break in the entertainment world, and bolt once they start attracting offers.

Husky Harris:

Vince McMahon has personally blocked the main roster call up of Bray Wyatt, he is not impressed with his physique, Husky has dropped to 280lbs during his injury lay off, but that is not enough to please the boss.

His character has also been compared to Waylon Mercy, which is not good.

Kelly Kelly:

Why was Kelly Kelly really released from WWE?, look at the pic on the wall (Dated Sep 27). WWE heard she was taking part in an advertising campaign, and Triple H called her and demanded to see the pictures for office approval, they decided the pictures were too risque, for their PG audience and asked her to withdraw from the contract, she felt that she could not renege after the shoot had already happened, so WWE fired her the next day.

She is also in trouble for seeing her own doctor for a neck problem she has been suffering with, during her break from WWE, rather than the in house doctor.

WWE / Chris Jericho part ways:

WWE and Chris Jericho have been talking about his future with WWE, Jericho offered to work 50 dates a year, with full story line cycles, not like Brock and The Rock, turning up for TV and PPV matches then vanishing again for months, he also said he would join the developmental training team. However WWE want to control Chris Jericho's external career, and like Edge, Y2J wants to keep his music career and WWE career seperate, so could not agree to that, WWE also wanted Jericho to make WWE his main priority, and be available whenever they wanted, Jericho wanted to control when he was able to work, and during tours would be a definate no, this roadblock resulted in WWE ending talks with the multiple time champion and there are no plans for the Ayatollah to rock n rollah in WWE again.

This may mean WWE have to change the theme for Hell In A Cell, Chris Jericho and his band were due to perform at the show, and Jericho was also going to be a surprise opponent in a match.

Evan Bourne:

Will not be back in the ring before Royal Rumble 2013.

The Undertaker:

WWE have proposed a streak vs streak match between himself and Ryback for WrestleMania 29, he has not yet agreed. Brock Lesnar, Triple H, and CM Punk have also been pitched as possible foes for the big show.

John Morrison's wrestling future:

WWE and TNA are vying over JoMo for 2013, he says he will go to the company that will take his Girl Friend Melina on as well as himself. However neither company are intersted in her.

Story line dropped:

The incompetent GM angle has been dropped, and AJ and Booker will continue in the roles.

TLC SPOILER!!!:

New baby:

Todd Grisham is a Father for the second time, congrats.

WWE UK try out camp:

WWE will host a try out camp during the Survivor Series fall out tour in November.

WWE shake up:

WWE have cleared out the team in charge of live events, The new chief will hire his own team, and will embark on a top to bottom restructuring of how WWE run the live events side of their business.

Vince kills Funkasaurus:

The boss wants Brodus to become a killer heel again, and has told creative to start the storyline heel turn for him. He also wants a change for Tensai, revealing how disappointed he is with Matt Bloom since his WWE return.

Hell In A Cell SPOILER!!!:

A creative leak has detailed the results of the tag title tourney, that is currently ongoing in WWE, Cody Rhodes and Damian Sandow are scheduled to win the tournament and compete for the titles at Hell In a Cell later this month.

The plan is Mysterio and Cara will lose to Sandow and Rhodes in the finals due to interference from Young and O’Neil. This would lead to a second tag team match at Hell In a Cell – Mysterio and Cara vs. Young and O’Neil, with the winners becoming the next in line for a shot.

WWE snubbed:

Mr. Belding turned down the job of Raw GM because he did not want to be on the road 5 days a week, he says he has lots of friends in WWE and would love to do something in the future, but could not commit to that schedule.

TNA:

Christian has pulled out of the TNA Hall OF Fame, (or so they say), Madison Rayne vs Brooke Hogan has been dropped, and Garrett Bischoff is being teased as the leader of Aces and Eights.

Jeff Hardy:

Has given the biggest hint yet that he would be open to a WWE return...

“Man, I really can’t answer that. I’m happy where I’m at right now with TNA. But you never say never in this business, so it depends on where I’ll be at in a few months.”
