Kevin Thorn recalls blowing Mania match vs Taker:

"Vince watched me as I stoically said, 'Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.' Vince loved it, and he immediately got 'Taker, and they both watched me. 'Taker gave me a nod, which meant I did something great, and this led to the point where Vince was going to play God and I was casting judgment upon all of WWE. It was supposed to be me and 'Taker at WrestleMania 21. This was going to be even more unique because the cowboy dressed all in black was the good guy and the guy in white was evil. We would have built that up throughout the whole year, which would also have allowed 'Taker some time for a smoke-and-mirrors angle so he could rest the wear and tear on his body. (But) I was on my way to stardom, right up until I got in a fight at a bar in Louisville, Kentucky. That led to a lawsuit, and Vince was so mad that I screwed up and ruined his vision. I was a dumb young kid. I wasn't ready for that role. The past is what makes the future, and you have to live with it, but it would have been incredibly awesome."

Double J addresses TNA re-brand:

"In one essence we're back to the way it was originally branded. The name of the television show that comes on Thursday nights on Pop TV and Friday nights on Spike TV in the United Kingdom, Friday nights on Sony 6 on India. The name of the television show is Impact and now the name of the brand, as you stated, is GFW. So we're really excited. We realize it's not going to happen overnight. You know, the confusion didn't happen overnight so the re-brand is not going to happen overnight but we're heading in that direction. I can't state enough just the buzz in the building Sunday night almost felt — I hate to, I'm not one to look back in the rearview mirror — but in essence, you know, we'll call it the glory days of TNA, it really, really felt good on Sunday night," said Jarrett. "The Impact Zone so to speak was rocking, it was off the charts; they seemed to really enjoy the show that went down the 15th anniversary show of Slammiversary on Sunday night."

Decision closing in:

The broken gimmicks will soon be awarded, but fans may not be happy with where they are going. GFW Impact are said to be winning the battle over the ownership. A decision is set to be announced within days.
