Marty remembers 25 year old botch:

Marty Jannetty has recalled the 25th anniversary of the break up of the Rockers, and revealed a major mistake happened. There were three windows on the set of the Barber Shop, two were sugar glass, one, the one with Brutus Beefcake's name and logo, was real. Shawn picked the wrong window and smashed Marty through the real one. Marty said the two men were really on bad terms at the time, and thinks HBK might have done it on purpose...

"As I've told before, in all honesty (Shawn) I'm pretty sure that a lot of it was on purpose because we had a little animosity at the time going on but that super-kick was in there. He did lay it in on everybody because I used to hear from the boys saying damn your partner can't hold back on that kick can he? I'd say, well why do you say that? And then I'm looking at that damn bruise underneath my chin. He laid it in and caught me right underneath the chin and if you ever see it again, you'll watch and see me raise right up off my toes before I went down and I was pretty groggy by the time I went through the window. The part I remember the most was hanging over the framework and thinking oh damn we did it and how did I get here. Pulling back out of it and trying to get my senses back together, Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake came over and checked on me and was trying to run Shawn off because we didn't know if Shawn would keep going or what with it."

I stopped watching wrestling for 5 years after that night... couldn't deal.

He also says he does not mind the negative jibe fans use on him, as it keeps him alive in the sport...

"All these guys were not known when they came to me and after they left me they went off to be famous. It is not who is the weak-link of the team it is like the teacher of the world. Billy Gunn used to say that I want to tag with you so bad because they should call you "Springboard Jannetty" because everyone that you tag with shoots to the top. So let that be my legacy and it is pretty much true and all these guys: Sean Waltman, Shawn Michaels, Bob Holly, Al Snow they are all students of mine."

Today's News

Royal Rumble 2017:

Here is my recap of this years Royal Rumble PPV.

Notes...

  • Some WWE Network users had issues logging into their accounts.
  • Shawn Michaels cut a promo in the ring before the show went on air.
  • TNA legend Austin Aries made his first main roster PPV appearance during the Cruiserweight title match, he was on comms.
  • Referee Charles Robinson was injured during the WWE title match.
  • Due to the length of the aisle WWE had a golf cart in the walkway to offer entrants the option of being driven to the ring. Braun Strowman, Big Show, Mark Henry, Big E, and Bray Wyatt were some of the men that hitched a ride. This was not shown on camera.
  • Chris Jericho has spent more time in Royal Rumble matches than anyone in history. He took the record from Triple H last night.
  • There were no guest appearances in the Rumble this year. The only surprises were Roman Reigns, NXT's representative Tye Dillinger and the rep for 205 Live Jack Gallagher.
  • The two brands did not have an equal share of the entrants. Raw had 17, SmackDown 12 (Counting Taker), and NXT had 1.

Del Rio party:

A number of un-needed WWE talent went to Alberto Del Rio's party last night. Namely Primo, Epico, Titus O'Neill, Sin Cara, R-Truth and Paige.

Trish Stratus interview:

On rejecting lesbian love affair angle with Torrie Wilson...

"There was one moment that I wasn't happy about. It didn't air. Like, something for SmackDown, they wanted me and Tori to do a kiss and I was like, 'I can honestly say that famous line, 'my character would not do that'. It just didn't feel like it fit for me. And so, I suggested another way and their way of saying, 'your way wasn't that great' it didn't air and I think Stacy doing the same spot. They said, 'we'll do it with someone else then' was kind of how I got out of that one. But I was pretty vocal about saying, 'I just don't feel comfortable with that way. Can we try it this way?' My way didn't quite achieve the same affect on TV. So, but yeah, it was important to me to protective over my character and I feel that's why the integrity of Trish Stratus stayed intact pretty much my entire career, especially after the big turn at WrestleMania 17."

On how Lita is doing since WWE release...

"She's doing great, yeah. I think it just came to a time when she was ready to move on too. I mean, this was something that came to her, it was a neat opportunity that happened after Tough Enough. Like a great opportunity for her was Tough Enough. And then, it was the natural transition for her to sort of try on some different hats and see what would work back there and it kind of ran its course and that's that. But she enjoyed it. She got to try a few different things. Doing the producing was fun. And then, she got to do the onscreen announcing, like the panel there and she really enjoyed it."

Universal title SPOILERS!!!:

Current plans for the Universal title have Goldberg winning it at Fastlane, and taking it into WrestleMania to defend against Brock Lesnar.

Today's News

It's the most wonderful night of the year...

Chris Jericho talks 2017 plans:

Chris Jericho has named his ideal Rumble surprises for tonight...

"You hear that Kurt Angle is heading into the Hall of Fame which is great so maybe he'll make an appearance. There are a couple of guys currently in NXT who I think should be in the big leagues like Shinsuke Nakamura, Samoa Joe and Bobby Roode as well. And I always like when sometimes they'll throw a Kevin Nash in there, or a Duke 'The Dumpster' Droese. I'm hoping for Duke this year, that's what I want to see."

He also talked about his plans for the year...

"It's time to get back into Fozzy and there are a couple of other projects I've got going on because I don't do WWE part-time, I do it full-time. I come and go, but when I'm working there I'm definitely a full-timer. There will be no wrestling from May, you don't do both at the same time. I've had a great year which has gone way longer than it was supposed to. It was only supposed to be four months, then it got extended to eight, then 12 and 16. Wrestling will go on hold for a while which is the way I've been doing it since 2010."

UK takeover:

Corey Graves has announced he is retiring from NXT to focus on his main roster duties. Nigel McGuiness will be his replacement from the next block of tapings.

A number of the UK tourney stars, including champ Tyler Bate, have arrived in Texas for the show, and one beat Bayley's fiance in a dark match last night, before the NXT special.

Tyler will make his NXT debut on February 1. The match taped last night.

NXT - San Antonio:

Results...

  1. Eric Young bt Tye Dillinger.
  2. Roderick Strong bt Andrade Cien Almas.
  3. Authors Of Pain bt DIY to win the NXT Tag titles.
  4. Asuka bt Billie Kay, Nikki Cross and Peyton Royce.
  5. Bobby Roode bt Shinsuke Nakamura to win the NXT gold.

Notes...

  • Samoa Joe, Michael Hayes and Matt Riddle were in the crowd.
  • Seth Rollins crashed the show and demanded a fight with Triple H. He was kicked out by security.

Royal Rumble SPOILERS???:

Sharp eyed fans noticed some interesting names on a graphic WWE aired to promote tonight's Royal Rumble, last night. James Ellsworth and Jack Gallagher may not be the biggest eyebrow raisers, but Zack Sabre Jr and Sting were also listed on the Rumble match card.

Samoa Joe is in Texas, potentially for his main roster debut, and after losing his title last night Shinsuke Nakamura is strongly expected to appear in the 30 man match too, but they ran an injury angle with him last night, so maybe / maybe not.

New belt coming:

WWE have commissioned a new Universal title, but from what I have seen of it, it will be a minor tweaking of the design, nothing noticeable.

Steve Austin calls out The Rock:

Steve Austin says Rock's segment at Mania 32 was too long, and he should have killed it much sooner...

"It was WrestleMania a couple of years ago. His segment lasted about 30 minutes. And you could feel the energy just draining out of 100,000 people. Now, The Rock is probably my most favorite opponent of all time. We had some epic feuds and epic battles, angles, and he's a very dear friend. I got to call him out on that. Rock, you sucked all the energy out of that building. And he's the most electrifying guy in sports entertainment and he's the biggest movie star in the world right now, but that one time Rock, you didn't know when to go home when you should have."

UFC star breathes new life into WWE:

Conor McGregor says he is still listening to offers from WWE for an appearance with them at Mania 33...

"Never say never. I know there's been conversations. I know Triple H was at the show. I'd love to go to that WWE and have a real knock. Let one of them have a real knock and see what's what. We'll see. There's conversations ongoing. I've turned down some things, conversations still ongoing."

He also says his next fight will be against one time WWE star Floyd Mayweather.

Inside the Rumble match:

Former WWE star Matt Morgan has revealed how the Rumble match is booked from the talent's perspective...

"2004. My rookie year. My first full year there," Morgan said. "We're in the locker room, Pat Patterson was the quarterback of it, the producer of it, I guess they would say now. And I remember he had this dry erase board. He would list all of our names and then write out who is eliminating who. And then, as he's doing it, he looked at me and said, 'alright, Morgan, you're eliminating Hurricane Helms' or 'then, you're doing this'. And then, really quickly, I'd have to turn to Hurricane and say what I'm going to do to him, like right there on the spot and have an idea right then and there, so they would know. It was really quick thinking, I remember. It was just like, bam, bam, bam, bam, bam, when they'd get to your name, what you would do to eliminate your talent or get eliminated yourself. And you had to keep it moving because there are some many guys in that Rumble. I think in that locker room, that afternoon, I should say, yeah, we knew Chris was going over. I'm pretty sure I knew that the week beforehand. I could be wrong, but we knew going into this, this was designed for Chris Benoit to go over and then eventually go over to RAW as well. You could go in the ring afterwards, and say, many guys do that, and say, 'look, this is what I'm going to be doing with you. Are you cool with this? I'm supposed to be eliminating you. Are you cool with me doing this or this or that?' And then, if you want to walk through it, you can. You don't walk through the eliminating part. You generally walk through what your comeback is. I'm sure you already know this as fans, every time somebody comes out, he just blows a comeback for whoever's in the ring and you get all your s--t in and you look like a monster for those 10, 15 seconds. Rikishi comes out; he gives everyone a stink face. A-Train comes out; he gives everyone the gimmick in the corner. It's always like that. So if you want to talk about it, you definitely have to talk about it, but you don't have to really walk through it."

WWE hacked:

An online activist group hacked into the Twitter account of WWE's social media manager last night. The account has all the log in info for all of the roster, to use the accounts for promotion, and they accessed a number of the high profile stars, John Cena and Triple H amongst them, to show how weak their security settings were.

Becky Lynch adds voice to Rumble campaign:

Becky Lynch says a women's Royal Rumble match could be just a year or two away...

"I've been asked that a fair bit, and I don't think we're that far. The only thing is — when you look through the roster of Smackdown, and you look down the roster of Raw — we don't have that many women. That is the only problem. I think it's not outside the realm of possibility, but I don't think it's going to happen in the next year or two — simply because we don't have that many women. But I think that's all going to change, because we have amazing women in NXT. We have such an incredible facility in NXT, that keeps bringing up more and more talent. So it's not impossible: I just don't think we have the bodies at the moment."

Today's News

NXT:

Tonight NXT will host their first special of 2017. All of their championships are up for grabs.

Kyle O'Reilly talks WWE chances:

Former ROH champ Kyle O'Reilly has discussed his rumoured move to WWE...

"There isn't anyone who gets into this business without dreams and visions of having that Wrestlemania moment. That's what's driven me to pursue wrestling to this degree, overall. It's naive to think anything else. Of course if that opportunity was to come around, then I would strongly, strongly, consider it. That being said, I don't have any concrete plans moving forward. But never say never. Ideally I would love that if it worked out. All I ever wanted was to create art and be the best pro wrestler that I can be. So I need to find an environment that is conducive to that and that will allow me to be that performer. You never know what could happen in WWE. I could be slapped with a gimmick that I'm a nanny for all I know. It is nice to see that they've started to recognize past achievements in wrestling. It puts you above where a lot of other people are starting. It's a nice perk. But I just want to go where I'm appreciated, and whether that's WWE, Japan or the independents, that remains to be seen."

WWE award celeb:

Triple H has sent tennis star Serena Williams a WWE title as reward for her record win in Australia this week.

Dean Ambrose talks retirement:

"I know a lot of guys say that when they are younger 'I'm gonna get it, get my money and get out' and then end up wrestling until their 50. But that could end up being me too. I can tell you I want to get out early and end up eating my own words. All of a sudden I'm 50 and I'm still walking out there. At this point I see myself retiring and disappearing into the ether way before anyone would expect. And when I am done, I will be gone. But I could totally see myself limping down the aisle when I'm 60, jumping off the top rope and breaking my hip. I could be a hilarious geriatric wrestler."

UK star gets WWE role:

Nigel McGuiness will be a part of the presentation team of the NXT special tonight.

HOF feud:

Larry Zbyzsko has recalled his heat with Ric Flair...

"One time, it's kind of a funny story -- the wrestling business was weird in the old days with this brotherhood thing. Back in the old days when Flair was getting his start down south I was getting my big break in New York, and all the publicity and the magz -- Flair was getting jealous. He made comments to the boys saying, 'That Zbyszko, he ain't crap. It's only because of Bruno, I'll take care of Zbyszko.' So the word got to me through the grapevine of the boys, so I said 'You tell Flair whenever he wants to see who the better guy is, let me know.' In those days that was the way of saying, alright we'll get in the ring and this is gonna be a shoot brother. Then some years down the road in WCW they wanted me and Flair to work with each other, because we've both been around 20 years and we've never wrestled each other. Then Flair didn't want to do it, he thought I would hurt him and wanted someone else -- but that's when he like took off with the belt or something and went to the WWE, he jumped ship. It was right before that they wanted us to wrestle, because we never did it would've been good. It would've been really great, but he was afraid then he took off."

UFC star turns down Mania:

A UK newspaper (The one I won't name) claim to have an exclusive that Conor McGregor has turned down a ''Hefty'' offer from WWE for a WrestleMania match this year. Talks have now ended between the two sides, and the deal is dead.

HHH unhappy with NXT:

Triple H feels the brand split has had a detrimental effect on his pet project NXT, and is very unhappy with how things are going right now...

WWE address UK issues:

William Regal talks WWE vs ITV...

"I heard about that probably the same time as you did... This is not something that's just come up, we know what we're doing. I probably knew about that other thing maybe a week before anybody else knew, because I knew somebody involved in it. That's why I've been able to put this one together, because I know all these people and I had everything in line. Not just me, all of us. We've scouted everybody, these fellas can go, we've put them through tryouts you can check. I'm happy to give you our tryout list, in fact you can look at it from November that we just did in Glasgow, you'll see most of these fellas, or they were from the one in April, or they were on one before, or they were at shows I saw in July. It was all well thought out and put together, you can not just throw things together, you have to plan them out and put it all together. I hope that works as well, because if it does then great that's another group of fellas and ladies that get a chance. And we'll go from there. That's more people we can keep an eye on, and the best will come working for us anyway."

Triple H on pulling talents from UK shows, despite promising they wouldn't do so...

"There's a lot of confusion based on that, and a lot of the confusion is people's refusal to acknowledge the reality of the situation. We signed talent as a part of this UK tournament and are looking forward to doing hopefully what will become a weekly show over there. The talent knew what the deal was, they knew what the restrictions were and they knew what the restrictions weren't. We're not restricting them from working for anybody as long as it's not distributed, as long as there's no distribution outside of the live event. Some of these promotions tried to come in after the face and add a distribution component to that. Talent didn't sign up for that to start with, they just had that added coming off of the success of what we did or whatever they were working on. That's a change. That's a change in how the talent were being dealt with. Talent had an agreement to go to an event to compete on a live event, not to do other things and that's a change. We're not heavy-handing anybody, we're asking them to approve, to work with us, to work with the groups that are... and I was very clear about this when I was over there, we want to work with groups that are cultivating talent, not groups that are just coming in and just one-offing talent. So, is there a period of time right now we're allowing guys to work for people? Absolutely. Every single one of these talents knew the deal, they knew the deal going into it, they knew what the ask was and they knew what their restrictions were. Coming out the other side of it, there's a lot of confusion but it's not on our side and it's not on the talent side I believe. It's on the promoters side, who just kind of change things and do things however they feel like they want to do things. Trust me, there are a lot of... you can call them promotions but there are a lot of people who do one-off shows over there and there's a big difference. All of this is strategic. You're going to see a lot of announcements over a short period of time where I think all the questions that you're asking now and all the fears that everybody has will go away. People are going to go, 'Oh, it's very clear what they were doing right now.' But obviously because it's strategic, you can't come right out and say those things."

Paul London recalls being punished for iconic Rumble spot:

Remembering his 2005 elimination...

"They felt that it stole the moment, in a way, because they replayed, but they didn't want to replay it. They did it, because it looked spectacular as it was, and I specifically remember, there's a guy over there, Michael Hayes, he said 'That was really good, but that was too good.' Then next thing I know I'm off TV for the next six months. So that was frustrating."

Charlotte talks entering Rumble / all female match:

"I have the Women's Championship and I think our focus should be building a stronger division, showing that we are just as big of a draw as the men, but once I'm not in the title picture anymore, I think it would be great to enter the Rumble, because at the end of the day, I can outwrestle some of them, but it would have to make storyline sense. I hope in the future, if we have a big enough division to do it or if they ever bring RAW and Smackdown back together, I'd love for us to have an all-female Royal Rumble. I think that would be awesome."

Rock awarded:

The Rock has won best actor at the Peoples Choice awards.

Steve Austin reveals why he didn't announce Mania 19 would be his last match:

"The reason for that was, it was going to be my last match, WrestleMania 19. The neck had caught up with me. Everything had caught up with me. And we didn't announce that, 'hey, this is going to be 'Stone Cold's match' because this was the third and final match with The Rock. He was going over. He didn't say it was going to be my last match because the promotion was still doing pretty good. The momentum was still good. It might have started to slow down a little bit, but if you've just announced, 'hey this is going to be 'Stone Cold's last match,' maybe that would kind of slowed business down or slowed the momentum down and maybe turned some people off. And it would be great to have a great sendoff, but it wasn't about that. We didn't want to slow the momentum of the company and make it about me having my last match because, I can't remember when I made that decision, and I talked to Vince that that was going to be my last match, but it was really close to leading up to that and we didn't want to slow down business, is the bottom line, and that's why it was never really announced is that being my last match."

Batista says WWE ruined his return in 2014...

"It really sucked. It didn't have anything to do with me or anything, there was just a lot going on behind the scenes. It was the company, man. They really just screwed me over. I was banging my head against the wall every day. It's one of those things, I wish people knew how hard I fought to be there and how hard I fought to just give them the best matches and performances that I could. But it was an everyday struggle dealing with the company. It was such a f---ing nightmare."

HOF'er blasts critics:

Jim Ross has come out as critical of people dis-respeting Jimmy Snuka. Referring to boo's after WWE aired a tribute to him on Raw last week...

"I had no issues with the WWE tribute. I was glad they recognized it and recognized his passing. For wrestling fans, for many of them, he meant a lot to a generation of fans. I'm glad that they acknowledged it. It's the wrong form, in my view, to continue to wear out a topic of a trial that never happened and a court case that's been dismissed. I don't know what happened and all this other stuff regarding Jimmy and the lady that was murdered. But golly, there's a time and place to discuss those issues. And one would think that we'd have enough intelligence to let the family – he had a lot of kids, man. They have friends and they have cousins and I think to just let the family grieve before we go back on this Oliver Stone quest of proving Jimmy Snuka posthumously was a murderer. It's ridiculous. It's embarrassing."

He later apologised for any offence the family of Miss Argento, the lady Snuka was accused of killing in 1983, took to his remarks.

I'm not saying anything... that might be asking too much at this point and time. That's literally the most news I've given anyone up to this point."

I'm greatly appreciative than anybody would ever know who I was, especially back then when I was doing my thing, let alone 12 years removed and the welcome that I got. I'm very humbled and it just makes me want to go out and work harder. I'm here in Cleveland, woke up at 5 o'clock, already worked out the first time today, ate a couple of times, gonna go to the gym again here in a little while. I'm addicted to this training thing. I'm an extremely lucky guy. Vince McMahon has opened his doors and I'm back at home. It's a different experience this time."

"We're all adults, and you know obviously this business is what it is. We've all had our share of relationships failed. I think that being adults and being professionals...I would hope that, and I'm pretty sure that it's going to be pretty awesome, because I'm sure that I'm going to have to work with Nikki in the ring and I know that we could do some really amazing stuff. As far as that whole thing with Ken it was a shame that he went out and said the things that he did and did that, because I feel that a lot of it was a lie and it was mostly just kind of to help his book sales or whatever the case may be. But you know, it is what it is and you know, I'm a grown up."

Million Dollar belt stolen:

Brother Love has told a story of a time the Million Dollar title was stolen... or was it?...

"We had been in maybe Hartford, Connecticut, maybe Providence, and we finished up there, this is we, me and Ted DiBiase, and we were heading to Boston. It was probably Providence because we were going to Boston to fly out. He was going to fly out from Boston and I was going back to Connecticut, so wherever we were. So anyway, we get to Boston and we're in a Ford Bronco, so we have our bags in the back of the Bronco. We go to Chinatown and we go to our favorite little restaurant in Chinatown and we have some great food and a lot adult beverages and we come out and it's about 2 o'clock in the morning. And we're walking down a side street, we had been parked on the street. We look and the side window had been busted open on the Bronco. It's bashed in. There's broken glass all over the ground. And we look, and we go, 'oh s--t!' We open up the door, we look, and our bags are gone. Someone ripped us off. We start going through the car and s--t and Ted looks at me and says, 'hey man, the belt's not here.' The belt was carried in a separate gold Halliburton everywhere we went. And we're going through there and the only thing they left in the car was my briefcase, which had kind of been in the back on the floor. But they stole my garment bag, they stole his garment bag, they stole his briefcase, and they stole all of his s--t. And we're like, 'motherf--ker, somebody stole 'The Million Dollar' belt.' We called the cops. The cops come out and make a report. And I said, 'well, you've got to call Vince.' 'Why do I got to call him? You call him.' 'Hey, motherf--ker, it's not my belt!' But I end up, there's a little payphone there and it's now 2:30, 3 o'clock, 3:15 in the morning and I make that call. 'Hello?' 'Hey Vince, this is Bruce.' 'Yeah, pal. What's up?' 'Well, I'm here with Ted and we were on our way to Boston and we stopped and got something to eat and somebody broke into our car and it seems that somebody stole 'The Million Dollar' belt.' 'What the f--k do you want me do do about it?' 'Well, I guess, nothing, but I wanted to make you aware of it. Ted lost the belt.' And he's like, 'Goddamnit, there's nothing I can do about it! Call the f--king news! Make some Goddamn noise! Wake somebody up!', which I had already done by waking him up, so long story short, we get to the Hilton there, Boston Airport and we check in and we start calling people. We were looking for Virgil because Virgil usually was pretty good about grabbing the belt. And as I started doing my investigative work, I'm going, like, 'Ted, s--t, man, are you sure you had the belt?' He's like, 'yeah, I'm pretty sure I had it because Virgil, we weren't riding together and I'm responsible for the Goddamn thing.' And we can't get Virgil to answer his phone in his room. Well, lo and behold, we later found out, in the morning, that when they were going to the airport, Virgil did have the belt. And I woke Vince up at 3 o'clock in the morning on a false alarm and I let Ted make the next call to him to let him know that we found the belt and it was a mistake and all that other good s--t. But it was a weird night in Chinatown in Boston."

The belt is currently missing of course. It hasn't been seen since it was last used on TV, Bruce also addressed it's whereabouts...

"I don't know if they got it back or not, but I know that when Teddy left, he gave the belt to a member of the ring crew and sometime after that, because it was an expensive belt, Linda called Ted and asked him to please send the belt back. Ted said, 'I do not have the belt. I gave it to someone on the ring crew to take back with them to Stamford.' 's--t, well, who'd you give it to?' I don't know if he knew the name or what, but they did some investigating and couldn't find the Goddamn belt! So she called Ted again. She goes, 'Teddy, I don't mean to be… but it's an expensive belt, you were the last one to be seen with it, we really need you to send it back if you have it.' And Teddy was adamant that he didn't have it and that he had given it to the ring crew. So I don't know if they ever found it or not. I know Ted has told me in private that he did not have it. He had told me the same story. He never wavered on his story and I believe him because Ted is not the type of guy to do that, especially if he was asked. He would've given it back if he had it. Maybe they did find it. Maybe it's in a safe. I don't really know, to be honest with you."

NWO on TV:

Triple H talks why Angle got the HOF call:

"I think it's a very well deserved induction into the Hall of Fame. We've had an association with Kurt for a long time but when Kurt was here in the WWE, he was one of the most impactful and memorable and iconic characters probably ever. One of the things that always stands out for me is that I was here when Kurt was coming out of the Olympics and training. And having never done this before, he went from zero knowledge of our industry to being one of the most incredible performers in the ring in the time frame of the Attitude Era where, you know, he was in there with some of the best in the world. And he very quickly went from walking to the ring for the first time to being one of the best in the world himself. It happened faster than anyone else. And that's what I do now mostly in my day to day job. Most of my day is focused on talent and recruiting and training and talent development. I don't believe I've ever seen someone pick it up as fast as Kurt. Just on that basis alone, he should be inducted. But then you throw in all that he's accomplished, that he's accomplished since leaving WWE even, and will continue to accomplish. I'm really happy for Kurt as a human being. I'm also happy that he's a really good place in his life right now."

Owens names preferred Mania rival:

"If I had to narrow it down to one it would be The Undertaker. He is synonymous with that event and I was always in awe of him - as a kid, teenager and adult."

Bray Wyatt has also named his...

"Daniel Bryan would be my match-up. I could say a lot of names - The Undertaker, Jake "The Snake" Roberts", Ric Flair in his prime - but I didn't feel I was finished with Bryan. I felt it was taken from me and I will always feel that way. This year, though, I plan to beat AJ Styles - if he is still the champion - and it would be good if it was a Last Man Standing Match."

Austin remembers stunning the President:

"It wasn't a picture-perfect stunner, but I give Donald Trump a hell of a lot of credit for being a man. He was a stand-up guy, he was there to do business and we did business, so I respect the man for that. If I see him giving a speech on the TV, I don't think, 'Hey, I gave this guy a stunner.' We were doing business and we did business. The fact that he is going to be the next President of the United States, it's a hell of a story."
