Stone Cold and Bob Holly recall two of the toughest:
Holly...
"The one guy that nobody ever talks about that was physical, actually the two guys, one was Test and the other guy was Gene Snitsky, Gene Snitsky is like running into a brick wall. And when he hits you… I think with me, Gene thinks, 'do you know what? Bob, I can do whatever I want to him and he's going to be okay with it.' And I was, but goddamn, that son of a b---h, he tried to hurt me! And it was funny because he would laugh every time he'd do something to me. He would laugh. And I remember, one night in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, that bastard hit me so hard, and I picked up a chair, and I cracked him with the chair, Steve. I laced him wide. I mean, I ripped him wide open with the chair. It looked like a pig was slaughtered in that ring, which he was fine with it because we were both laughing about it when, of course, I made sure he was alright. But Gene was somebody, Snitsky, I enjoyed working with him, but gosh dang, he was rough. I mean, he really was. And Test was rough too."
SCSA...
"One time, they put me in the ring, it was gauntlet match, I had to go through, I don't know, three or four different guys. It was at a period of time of my career when I was pretty burned out. And all-of-a-sudden I see I was working with Test and Test is no longer with us. I wish he was, but anyway, it was a television taping, Monday Night RAW or something like that, and Test was fairly green. He was a big, tall, strong son of a b---h. He was strong and he was a big dude and he was strong. And all-of-a-sudden, he goes to send me into the ropes. And, dude, when I'm sending somebody into the ropes, I'm going to send their ass into the ropes, but Jesus Christ, this guy acted like he was trying to start a lawnmower that had been sitting in the yard for 15 years! He damn near yanked my left arm out of the damn socket. I hit the damn turnbuckle and that son of a b---h came running in and prompt put a boot right in his damn chin, like holy f--k! I was like, 'dude, slow down!' He would send me into the ropes so hard. He was so green. I think he was excited because it was TV. I'm at burnout stage and Jesus Christ! f--king really?"
No more:
HHH says WWE will no longer have inter-gender matches...
"Women WWE Superstars don't need a man to make them successful in the ring. They don't need a man to step in the ring with them to make them have a spectacular match. ... They don't need a man in the ring with them, they need each other, they need the opportunity, they need the platform, and they need to be set free to do what they need to do. And when we do that, they rise to the occasion, they have stolen the show, they've been the main event, and they will have their PPV on October 28 from New York, the first all-female WWE PPV."
Injuries:
Big Show and Jeff Hardy will be back on TV next week after injuries.
Police called for wrestling spot:
Eric Bischoff says fans called cops for a famous spot on WCW TV...
"It is true. It was something that I didn't think about. It's not like I was sleeping at the wheel or was too busy, but I never would have anticipated that you could do something on a wrestling show that was so believable where people sitting at home would call the cops in the local market, but that was exactly what happened …Sure enough, we had Orlando cops showing up on set because people called 911. They thought there was a murder going on backstage because they had never seen anything like it. It was so believable, it just didn't look like a pro wrestling angle. It was everything. You didn't see ambulances, or anything remotely close to this scene before. You may have kind of in a way similar but not executed like this or produced as well. The thing that made it was when took off Rey's mask, because in a real situation, if his skull was cracked they wouldn't be able to treat it with a mask on. It was the little details that made it believable. There were a lot of little details that made it work, but I think the one big detail was when Chris Benoit, Arn Anderson, I mean, Miss Elizabeth crying. Everybody broke character and they were so into the moment and made it believable. They didn't have some 22 year old j---off writing a script who has never been laid or been in a fight and is now suddenly in charge of a wrestling show, which is the case nowadays, you know. They knew what the scene was going to be and what the message was and what we were trying to create, but they had to improv it. They relied on their talent and instincts to make it believable. They made it so believable that it allowed them to get into the character. They literally became actors and actresses in this scene, like legitimately good ones across the board."
WWE / Impact:
Homicide is teasing something good is coming from the meeting between WWE and Impact recently...
"The big time is going to come and I was telling my crew 'We need the magic filling.' Even though I am a professional worker, I am still that fan and I love magic. It's like ... You never know what's gonna happen until it happens. It's something that's gonna come and you're going to enjoy it."
Tazz did not want to help ECW:
"It was awesome, it was a lot of fun, but I didn't want to go back. I remember coming back from the road and I get a call on the phone from WWE, and Vince is one of the guys on the other phone, I was at the mall with my wife pushing my kid in a stroller. They're like 'hey, uh, Paul Heyman needs a little help', and I'm like 'what do you mean?' Vince was like 'hey look pal, they got a guy there who is holding the title hostage and I need you to go in there and help Paul and take the title from this Mike Awesome guy.'"

Liv Morgan confirms she is cleared:
"I'm 100% cleared by the WWE doctors, who was also quick to praise the men and women who work behind-the-scenes to look after the well-being of the WWE Superstars. They took great care of me. Alum's talk WWE releases:
Big Cass opened up about his WWE release, in the ring, at an indie this week...
"I have a lot to get off my chest. Everybody in the world wants to know what happened. Why was he released from where he was before? And it seems like everybody out there has the answers. I read the internet, I read the dirt sheets, and I know there's people on their computers, there's people on their phones. And they are all typing up, speculating what they think really happened. And there's a ton of stories out there, and I'll tell you this, I've read them all. Some of them are true, and I'm man enough to admit right here, right now that some of them are true. But most of them are false. That day, there were only three people in that room. There are only three people in the world, who know what happened, and what was talked about that day. And I can guarantee you that the other two will not tell you what actually happened."
Rich Swann said of his departure...
"I'm on good terms, but no I'm not in touch with anyone from WWE. I'm with Impact Wrestling. I've got a contract with Impact Wrestling, and that's all we're in touch with."

Melina talks heat with Stone Cold:
"I've got issues with him. I don't understand how this is funny at all. She had her favorite pick and I am sorry if people don't agree with it. He asked her what her favorite match was, not what his favorite match was. He's going to ridicule her for what her favorite match was? I don't care what your favorite match was. If it's something you love, that's all that matters. I don't care what anybody says. They can say that because I was in the Divas Era I wasn't a good wrestler... blah blah blah. We were only given the opportunities we were allowed. So, to have this opportunity in an era where people were ridiculing Divas. To me, I knew that I worked hard for this moment. I knew they trusted us."
ROH boss talks MSG show:
"Yeah, again, we apply a lot of disciplines to our decision making, and we'll take a look at that. We'll take a look at that outcome. The partnership with New Japan would lend that to other arenas. We need to get through this one first, and then we can have those conversations. But those conversations, you know the Madison Square Garden conversation really started internally when WrestleMania was announced to be in the New York area. And that's kind of what precipitates the building or the venue that you would need to have a show that weekend. Obviously it's a fantastic place to have a show, because not only are there so many wrestling fans who love to come to New York, but the metropolitan area, within three hours each way—north, east, south, west—you have probably, what, 30 to 40% of the population of the United States? It's a pretty big place to draw from. And I think that was the challenge. I'm not in [WWE's] minds, I don't know how that planning goes, and maybe they thought that, well, if we go to New York, where are these other promotions going to play? Because they probably don't like everybody [and I put this in air quotes] 'living off' their back, and I don't think that's the case at all. Their shows stand on their own, they sell out on their own, why shouldn't the fans who come for that weekend have an ability and availability to see other promotions that they may not get a chance to see? It works for everyone. That weekend is a fan's weekend. We can call it what we want, we can label it what we want, people can say what they want, but it's really one of the great weekends that belong to the fans in wrestling. The wrestling community—and I'm going to use that word because I just value it so dearly—when you're a wrestling fan, and you're at a match, you're with people who are also wrestling fans, and are comfortable in their skin being a wrestling fan. There's not a lot [of places] outside of the wrestling matches or on the internet or in the 'sheets' where you can be so overtly a wrestling fan, and not be kind of looked at a little, you know, crazily. And to be able to come to a weekend like that, regardless if it's New York or New Orleans or Orlando, or wherever it's going to get done, that's an opportunity for a fan to be a fan and not to have to hide their fandom. That's the wrestling community. It's been created, it's been grown, every organization should take a little bit of credit for that—one organization likes to take all the credit for that (and maybe it's duly deserved, and I really say that in respect of them)—but we're starting to see that they're not the only promotion. And since Ring of Honor has really been active in the business, which is really because of our television and our distribution and our company and just the way we have done our business, I think we've made wrestling a better business because of our presence. We see that with talent, with our talent that currently wrestles with us, talent that has left us to go wrestle with other promotions. The business is good and I think the business is good partially because of us. And I'm proud of that."
WWE merch:
WWE have released a new line of glow in the dark tees. Braun Strowman has the honour of being featured first.
Young Bucks recall WWE incident:
Nick...
"I'll say it right now, being back there at that stage in our career, it's like walking on eggshells, you don't know who to say 'hi' to. You don't know if you're disrespecting anyone, so we were just trying to be out of the way and with us trying to be out of the way, we ended up not being out of the way because I was the one who was accidentally leaning on Booker's jacket, but I had no clue that I was. And when Booker came up to me, I was so intimidated and scared to death! I was like, 'oh no! What did I do?'"
Matt...
"We had just left our position at Impact Wrestling and we were kind of just, if anything, going for a tryout with the WWE to create a bit of a buzz. I think at that point, we had already known that we were going to sign a contract with Ring Of Honor, so we were kind of just going to say 'hello' and maybe get the internet talking like, 'hey, these kids are backstage at WWE. Are they going to go there now?' So we really didn't want to make a big stink out of it, and then, it ended up becoming the biggest story online. And do you know what, Booker? In a way, like, I have to credit you for doing that for us because I look back on it now, and, I think, honestly, our first big break because it was the first time that everybody was talking about us. And, now, everybody knew our names and instead of, like, shying away from it, or, like, defend ourselves and basically tell everyone, 'no, we were just shy kids, we were embarrassed, and blah, blah, blah,' we decided, 'hey, let's make this our characters and let's do this on social media, and put it online,' honestly, it's what got us over, "so Booker helped get us over to the point where people knew who we were!"
Flair struggling:
Charlotte says her dad, Ric, struggles with being retired...
"It wasn't that I got to know him more, it was understanding his decisions more. When he retired in '08, he really had a hard time, which I'm pretty sure is public knowledge. And I couldn't understand why he just couldn't go out on a high note. You retire with Shawn Michaels, you have the biggest retirement ever; I mean the weekend just seemed to be so magical, being in Orlando. And it was hard after that. I couldn't understand, like, 'Dad, why are you having such a hard time? Live your life. You had an amazing career.' But now being a part of this business, and understanding there is nothing like being in the ring. There's nothing like being the main event, or feeling the crowd or the rush, or getting ready backstage and the camaraderie. Yes, the travel is hard, and you're away from your families, but there is nothing like what we do I think anywhere else. And he did this his whole life. I've only done it a couple of years. So now I understand his choices and decisions, and why he couldn't walk away, and why he still is who he is."

Sting talks reluctance to join WWE:
"As far as Vince, Vince and I would always talk and it was great. And then, the attorneys would talk and things would kind of change, but I always thought in the earlier days, I thought that Vince wanted me more to undermine WCW than he did want me as a talent, well, in the later years, you could that, yes. I mean, that was definitely a part of it as well, but that wouldn't have stopped me from going up there, honestly. I mean, I'm a pro wrestlers. This is what I do. And I'm not going to… I mean, I always thought everyone knows who I am. They know what I stand for. They know what I believe. And if I go up there and they ask me to do something that's maybe against my conscience and I just can't do it, then, I just won't do it. And if it's 'goodbye' at that point, I was ready to say, 'goodbye'. I mean, that's all there is to it. I ended up going to TNA and I'll never forget having that conversation with Vince, he's on the phone with me and he says, 'you know, Sting,' he said, 'I find this hard to believe. The legacy that you leave behind and the thought of you going to TNA is just, blah.' That's exactly what he said, 'blah!' And so then you fast forward to me coming back to do WrestleMania, I sent out a text to Vince and Triple H, and I simply said, 'have you guys turned the page on Sting yet?' because I honestly didn't know. Did they turn the page? Are they done or would they consider a run up there?"

Lita recalls Team Xtreme:

About three years ago I was about to get signed and we talked about that because I was supposed to possibly get signed then and it didn't happen. We talked about that. He's like 'we got good intentions', made me feel good with working with NXT and working with him. Honestly, that's why I signed up and we'll see where it takes me."
Undertaker talks longevity:
"Wrestling and sports entertainment is not about the moves, it really isn't. It's about being able to evoke emotion in one facet or another. You either have to make people love you or you have to make them hate you, it doesn't really matter either way. If you can't bring that emotion out of your audience then you're not going to have them for long."

Bryan battles bullies:
Daniel Bryan has spoken out against the torrent of abuse his wife has suffered since the ring accident with Liv Morgan last week...
"I am proud of how strong my wife is. After accidentally injuring Liv Morgan last week, the first time Bri's ever hurt another performer, she's been subject to a constant barrage of social media attacks. Almost every wrestler has accidentally hurt someone but rarely do you see this kind of hate when it happens. For example, I concussed Randy Orton in 2012 after hitting him with what was supposed to be a chair to the back. Unfortunately part of the side hit him in the back of the head, and he was forced to miss a PPV. In 2009 in our last match against each other, I concussed Nigel McGuinness after doing a dive into him in the crowd, where his head hit the floor. And there are others. As for the Yes kicks, two weeks ago I accidentally kicked Andrade directly in the head due to a miscommunication on my part. I feel fortunate that he was ok, because there are few feelings worse than hurting someone. Despite all of that, never did I receive the backlash Brie did this week. With all the negative things said about my wife, nobody was harder on her than she was on herself. Thank you to the many people who reached out to support her, both publicly and privately. We all wish Liv Morgan a speedy recovery. #EndCyberbullying"
Injury:

Vince saves Jericho from arrest:

"About six, seven years ago I kicked a flag in Brazil which is a felony, which no one told us beforehand. Like, it's really bad. Long story short, the army wanted me arrested and taken to the jungle prison. He was really mad. Very furious. He actually suspended me for it. But in the meantime he got me out of there within hours. He's like 'you're getting out of there now.' So we went straight to the airport, got on the plane and took off and went to some other country. We weren't supposed to leave until the next day and he said 'you're leaving now.'"

Kalisto talks biggest passion:

I want to let young people know that I survived and overcame those obstacles. Joining gangs is not the option. There's so much more out there. The possibilities are endless if you dream and work hard. This is why I say #imagineluchaachieve."
Nash blasts current WWE roster:
Kevin Nash has drawn heat from some of the WWE roster after telling them no one cares about them...
"No one cares about the young guys. When I watched Summerslam that Undertaker and Tripe H package caught my eye and made me want to see that match. I don't know if I want to see Roman Reigns versus Undertaker again. What more of a rub can you give than that? He's been given rubs before and they just aren't getting over. Who would you put in those positions? You going to put Finn in there versus The Undertaker? Rollins? Who are you going to put? I just don't think there's going to be guys like that anymore. Those guys aren't going to have 30 years in the business. This style won't allow these guys to last 30 years. Rollins already had a couple knee operations, but he's a great worker. I just don't see these guys even lasting 20 years because of their bodies and the concussion syndrome. Now, they are doing concussion testing and everything else."

Former NXT star Juice Robinson has issued a public apology for a social media comment that caused offense to the Rhodes family...
"I said something couple of days ago, that I actually want to clarify right now. I said that I was the 'American Dream', and I feel like I shouldn't have to say this, but I'm going to say this, because I want to apologize to the Rhodes family. I want to apologize to anybody that I offended. I did not mean that I was the 'American Dream' Dusty Rhodes. I did not mean that. There was only one 'American Dream' Dusty Rhodes. There will always ever be one 'American Dream' Dusty Rhodes, I know that. I loved that guy so much, and I respect him so much. I did not mean any disrespect when I said that. What I should have said, what I meant was that I'm living my American dream. This is the American dream for me to get here, my version of that. I'm not Dusty Rhodes, nor am I trying to be. But I looked up to him, and if a little bit of him has rubbed off to me, I'm better for it. So I want to apologize, especially to Dustin Rhodes; I don't know if he took offense to that, but somebody told me he might have. So I apologize."
