Corporate wedding:
WWE allowed a fan to propose to his girlfriend in the ring this week, not for sentimental reasons, but because they have paired up with a diamond jewelry company.
Heat on Foley:
WWE insiders say Dewey Foley did not get his job because of who his dad is, and that the office were impressed with some of his creative ideas, which he regularly posts on social media. Triple H is said to be a fan.
Mick Foley has discussed his sons WWE ambitions with Triple H privately, but Dewey has been sending in creative ideas and angles all on his own, and is said to have earned his shot. However, WWE are not happy with Mick discussing his sons role in WWE so publicly, and Dewey may already have heat weeks before he arrives for his first day of work, as a result.
The situation may have been further worsened by his sister's boyfriend, an NXT regular, Frank The Clown. Who has wrote a long letter blasting the WWE product, and telling the promotion he says he has loved since he was 6 that they are taking their fans for granted.
Career over:
Daniel Bryan has given his biggest hint yet that he will never wrestle for WWE again...
"I think it could be the end of my career in WWE, but I don't think it will be the end of my career. I could find another passion, but it would just be sad because this is what I have been most passionate about since I was five."
NXT UK:
NXT have made their way to the UK for their London special. Sami Zayn has wrestled tonight in Newcastle, with a new look.
Bret vs Vince:
Bret Hart contacted Vince personally, and then the WWE legal team, to threaten action if they did not remove Stampede Wrestling footage of him from their Network. WWE own the libraries, but Stu and Helen gave Bret the rights to all footage of himself, however WWE made a deal with Bruce and Ross Hart to show the footage. Ross has since admitted he knew of the ownership of Bret's matches belonging to Bret, and has sent paperwork to WWE confirming that. The footage has been removed pending legal decisions.
Dynamite Kid:
Dynamite Kid is still in hospital in the UK, six weeks after suffering a stroke. He was recently calling out spots for an imagined match vs Abdullah The Butcher, during a bad spell.
Ryder reunion:
Zack Ryder has confessed his decision to give WWE the rights to his YouTube show killed it, but he is working on a reunion episode, with only the original cast involved.
Rock nominated:
Rock has been named as one of the best comedy actors by NAACP.
TNA champion:
TNA will finally crown a new champion on January 5, when their tournament concludes.
SmackDown:
Road Dogg Jesse James has been promoted to the lead writer role for SmackDown.
NXT to Olympics:
Recent NXT release Cal Bishop says he plans on training for the US freestyle wrestling team for the 2016 Olympics.
