"A lot of my buddies to recover would take HGH to get back to earn a living, because their living was based on performance. For us, it wasn't hard at all. You go to clinics, a lot of those clinics have been shut down because it's illegal now. I had no problem. I had all my stuff in a FedEx and was going to send it to a doctor where all my buddies went. At the last minute I was like 'I'm a wrestler, yes, but I'm not going this as much or the length of time I need to do this for.' Angle talks WWE HOF:

"I'll believe the hype when I decide to talk to WWE. I haven't. We were going to have some type of meeting last year, unfortunately it got cancelled. We really haven't spoken. I don't expect them to speak to me until my contract's up and I haven't really gone after them to talk to them. Somewhere along the line it'll happen, I just don't know when. Would it be an honour to be in the WWE Hall of Fame? Yeah, it's an incredible honour. Would it kill me if I wasn't? No, it wouldn't. The most important thing to me is being in the National Wrestling Hall of Fame, which is Olympic wrestling. That's where my legacy truly is. It would be nice to be on the WWE Hall of Fame - it'll happen, I just don't know when."

JTG reveals why Cryme Tyme were fired, and who made the call:

"I was on the apron and I was kind of like still selling from what happened in the match, so when I turned around, it was like, Shad saying, 'hit our finish! Hit our finish!'. I'm like, 'okay, I guess they have some type of agreement and I do not want to mess up the finish,' so I hit the ropes, hit the finish. Big pop. Shad took a little extra liberties and took the belt off the ref and his shirt and auctioned it off to the crowd. He wanted to make sure the crowd was left happy, I guess. I didn't think Elias cared, but when we got backstage there were concerns, 'oh, you bumped the ref?' Like, 'okay. You do it all the time!' 'Well, you bumped the ref. How do you know he's trained like that?'. I didn't hear the details of Barry Windham yelling at Gaspard, but yeah, he was yelling pretty loud at Shad and I was like, 'damn, this is bad.' And then when Shad came back out, we were all sitting out by the ring monitor and the face of the company John Cena is just yelling at the top of his lungs at Shad and telling him how stupid he is and I'm like, 'damn, this is bad.' And then for some reason he started yelling at both of us and insulting both of us and I'm like, 'oh, man.' It was a bad day."

The team were gone for six months, but still had heat when they came back...

"We're in the UK and we had just done a tour for a week and our hair was a mess and we wanted to get our hair braided. I just would have worn a do-rag. I was like, 'I'm not going to worry about getting my hair braided. That's too much of a headache so Gaspard gets a runner to bring the hair braider back. He got some information. He said, 'okay, we found a hair braider.' Gaspard goes, 'I can't go to them. Can you have her come here?' Yeah, he would pay them extra, I guess. And the hair braider came back to a live event. I think he got braided at a live event. He brought her back to the live event after our match. I don't see that he did anything wrong. You want to get your hair braided because you want to look good for TV, but go do it somewhere quiet. Go somewhere quiet where no one can see you. No, Shad, he gets his hair braided in front of a high traffic hallway and we were green at the time, we're new, so we were supposed to be watching the monitor, watching the matches, and learning from them."

They were forced to job to Great Khali on TV as punishment for this incident, and lost a planned run with the tag straps.

"My exit strategy from pro wrestling wasn't carved in stone. I retired because of a few neck issues, some neurological issues ... and finally after about three years of hunting and fishing, I said to myself, 'Steve you need to get off you a** and get to L.A.' When you wrestle for 15 years, you don't want to go back to driving that forklift. Based on the name value I had, I went to L.A. and got involved in independent movies. I really don't do too many movies any more because memorizing words on a page is painful to me, but I love the reality stuff. When I came up with the Stone Cold image ... I pushed the envelope creatively. Maybe that doesn't exist today as much. People are a little trepidatious, because there's really only one company to work for. ... I'm pro WWE, but also I maintain my independence and speak my true thoughts, never bashing the product. But yes, I can be critical. I've earned the right to be critical."

He then repeated his assertion that he will never wrestle again...

"Naw man, I'm done. I'd rather leave well enough alone."

JBL vs Vince Russo:

JBL has decided to respond to a flurry of negative comments from Vince Russo, who took offence to his interviewing of Eric Bischoff on the WWE Network recently...

''I saw the comments Vince Russo made about the interview I did with Eric Bischoff. I want to address a couple of points. Mr Russo said that Eric decided to appear on WWE programming-this is true, but at my request ,this was NOT Eric's idea, it was mine. Eric is a friend and I knew he would be a great interview. To take WCW from losing $10 million to making $40+ million in five years is one of greatest stories in history. I wanted to capture this...and we did. I am very proud of this interview. I understand Mr Russo is not happy with the content of some of Eric's comments. I felt Eric was honest, I have known Eric for some time-I have a ton of respect for him. However, there is two sides to every story. What Eric did is incredible, I wanted this on record. For the record-I believe Eric. It is no secret that Mr Russo and I don't like each other, but that being said-I have no problem asking him on a show and letting him say whatever he wants. Mr Russo and I have both gotten older and hopefully wiser-would love him on a future show. I have zero animosity to Mr Russo---I am getting old:). The other point is that Eric made money on the interview-I know his pay and it was done for history and not for money. Same as I did some other great interviews that are 'in the can', I want to preserve history and show honor and respect to legends with this format, it's not about money...trust me:) It's some of the highest watched shows on the Network. I asked for this format to record history and honor legends-Eric fits both. Proud of my friend, Eric, for what he has done, I thought I was fair with the interview. Would be honored to have Vince Russo on the show as well-and would treat him with respect as well. BTW, I am not asking for Mr Russo to come on the show-I am not, happy if he did, but not seeking him to come on show. He seems to be doing fine doing what he is doing, and I am happy working with at risk kids in Bermuda on my days off and certainly not asking for more work as every day I do a network show takes away from work with kids who really need my help!.''

Russo later replied...

"Like JBL, I have no disparaging feelings towards him whatsoever at this point in my life. The fact is that Eric Bischoff made some defamatory comments about me during his interview, which I publicly invited Eric to discuss to me man-to-man on my podcast - unfortunately I never got a response. There are indeed two sides to every story. Fact is, JBL and the WWE chose to never allow me to tell my side. And, that's cool-but it is also a fact."

He's very close to a lot of guys like Adrian Neville and obviously Cesaro. He loves the boys. Those are some of his best friends. He misses a lot of his friends. I think that's the hardest part of having an injury. You miss the social aspect of the locker room, the camaraderie."

No, let him focus on just him getting himself together, not worrying about wrestling or being somewhere or doing this. Let him focus on getting well.' So he said, 'man, I wanted to reach out to you for so long,' because one time, he did call and apparently, he said, 'oh, I just talked to Scott' and they went, 'oh, don't do that!', so then I didn't hear from him for a long time."

Basically, when he got in there he noticed I was missing a lot of cartilage kind of on the lateral side of my knee, so he kind of did this procedure that hasn't really been approved yet, but it was Dr. Andrews down in Pensacola, who is a fantastic doctor and gets a lot of professional athletes. Like, he did a stem cell procedure, and unbeknownst to me and the WWE, it took a little bit longer for the recovery. But I'm glad he did it. With this Comet TV opportunity, it gives us the chance to be a focal point and also try to help the network itself which is kind of something we did with HDNet before, where it was not very well known and we were kind of trying to help each other out like a buddy system. I think that's the same situation we're in now with Comet TV and I think obviously with the more exposure that we've had, this is just a bigger opportunity for Comet TV and us. I hope it just continues to add to the exposure and we just make the best of it."

Rey Mysterio talks LU:

"This is the style that I grew up (in), the style that I started training, this is my base, my fundamental. I never dreamed of going to WWE or WCW, my dream was always making it to CMLL because AAA didn't exist back then. And then, next thing you know AAA started, the opportunity came. My base was always high-flying. I always wanted to get the opportunity to show the world what I can do. So there was no other company out there that was displaying that but Lucha Underground. When I saw the first season, I was blown away."

Injury:

Sheamus was hurt during a match over the weekend. The bout was stopped, and the ref threw up the ''X'' before a heavily limping WWE champ was helped back up the aisle. It has since been reported that the injury is kayfabe, but there has not yet been any conformation from WWE.

Kurt Angle pops for NXT:

"With all due respect, the talent on the NXT roster is phenomenal. They are doing something right down there as far as getting talent ready. I just don't think it would be worth it for either side to have me go down there and work on NXT. Not saying I wouldn't do it, but it is considered the WWE minor league. With that in mind, I think anybody would feel the same way about it."

Jeff Hardy interview:

On his injury...

"I'm going to try to wrestle with this brace on in January. I say I'm going to see what it feels like, but I'm kind of scared, honestly, to see what it feels like because I don't want to hurt it worse, but I'm going to give it a shot. I think I'm going to try a few easy matches and just see how it feels. I'm just going to avoid landing on my knees and maybe not doing as many moves I normally do and just see how it goes. But ultimately, I'm going to end up having the surgery sometime early next year and, sadly, I'll probably be missing most of 2016."

On WWE return...

"I think there's a huge possibility down the road. I'm not sure when, but I think both Matt and myself would love to end our careers in the WWE and it'd be super, double great to be able to have a few more good ones with the Dudley Boyz, for sure, as far as us returning to WWE and having some more matches with them, it all depends on how long they're going to be there and how long it takes us to get there. I mean, but, definitely, it's a possibility. I'm just not sure when right now."

On remaining goals in wrestling...

"I've done most of everything I've wanted to do, but I guess there are two big things. I mean, and those two big things are I never got to do a Hell In A Cell in the WWE. That's a pretty big one. And I've never main evented WrestleMania, so, ultimately, if it could all work out one day, before it's all over, I'd like to do those two things."

Goldberg names favourite match:

"Absolutely. And I agree to that because of who my dance partner was. And it was Dallas Page. Dallas had a lot to do with the success of my career. When he approached me with a 14-page wrestling match, I was a bit indifferent. You just got to wrangle Dallas a little bit. He's very enthusiastic, he's got a very creative mind. My mentality and my persona and myself and my character more so there's a lot of lessons more in there but everything was impactful. I obviously never replicated a match like that because I never had a main event like that with Dallas again and that should show you and tell you who was responsible for that match. Obviously it takes two to tango but I was absolutely honored to take part in a monumental match with Dallas. It was awesome, it really was. There's no doubt it was the best match of my career."

TNA came close:

Kurt Angle says TNA going on the road almost killed them...

"I think it really put the company in a position where it almost went under again. I know it went under at the very beginning, but it looked like it was about to go under again. TNA is a great company, but it's not a WWE. We don't have the extra funds to take chances, to waste a few million today and tomorrow will be fine. Every penny counts."
