Today's News

Shawn Michaels:

Notes from Shawn Michaels recent speaking event...

* He says he texted Taker right after his shock defeat at WrestleMania, and that he said he was OK, and seemed in good spirits, joking that he was going to sue the bus driver that had hit him.

* He says he and Undertaker will have some projects together in the future, away from the wrestling world.

* He spoke very warmly about Bret Hart, it was clear to those in attendance that their relationship is at a much better place than it was during their WWE days.

* He seemed to regret his attitude at WrestleMania 14. Many stars have commented about his behaviour at the event over the years since, that they worried that he was going to go into business from himself at the show, and that he allowed every one, including his opponent to believe he may not have dropped his belt. He also said he saw Mike Tyson practicing his punch in the back, and that he was not pulling and mustard off his warm up, causing him to worry about the real thing.

* When asked about the Undertaker's warning not to screw the show up, he refused to comment on whether or not the conversation happened, but did say Taker was not in Gorilla waiting for him to go off script, as he allegedly promised, calling that ''Internet folklore''.

NXT:

Many NXT stars are worried for their futures, after this weeks recent clear out. FW4 are listing many names that are on the chopping block. but WWE are not confirming, or denying anything.

There is some better news for PC talent. WWE have confirmed that Tough Enough will return on their Network. They will feature the stars at the PC, as they prepare for there future's with WWE, this will include stars that have not yet made it to TV. It sounds like it may be slightly different from the old format of the series, and will be more of a reality show, following the lives of the WWE hopefuls, rather than a competition. It will be shot on location at the Performance Centre in the most part, but will also probably follow the stars in their day to day lives.
