Kurt Angle on TNA vs WWE:
"It continues to grow no doubt worldwide". We are on the road for good and we are taking little steps to improve the overall product. I believe in 5 years if things are done right we could be competing with the monster (WWE). They have amazing programming and Vince McMahon has done wonders for his product. I have been in Impact Wrestling for 7 years and I thought by now we would be up in the ratings. I believe that's going to take a little more time."
WrestleMania 29:
WWE have confirmed that WrestleMania 29 is now sold out, earning $11 Million in gate receipts, more tickets may become available later, depending on the production arrangements.
3 possible matches have emerged for the undercard...
Kaitlyn vs Layla for the Diva's Title.
Chris Jericho vs Fandango.
Brodus Clay, Tensai & The Funkadactyls vs Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow & The Bella Twins.
Shawn Michaels is expected to be written into the HHH / Brock Lesnar feud, WWE want him to have a part to play in Mania.
Rikishi will be there, teaming with his Sons The Uso's at Fan Axxess, this is to make up for missing the Royal Rumble.
Antonio Cesaro vs R-Truth is expected to be on the pre show, really disappointing for Cesaro if that is true, he has had a great year, deserves his Mania moment IMO.
WWE implement new safety measures:
WWE have announced all trainee talent will be required to wear head gear to minimize the chance of injury, until they (WWE) are confident that the talent have mastered taking bumps.
Paul Bearer to Hall Of Fame update:
Friends of Mr. Moody say he always wanted to be inducted at the same time as The Undertaker, and it is expected WWE will respect his wishes, so he probably will not be enshrined in in 2013.
Zeb Colter:
Wayne Keown is being allowed to write his own promo's, independent of creative, but is still having to get final clearance from the office, before TV's.
For this week's SmackDown, he is using the controversial stance held by soon to be Hall Of Famer Donald Trump against President Barrack Obama, demanding that Jack Swagger's opponent Chris Jericho provide a birth certificate to prove he was born in the USA.
WWE returns:
WWE have offered contracts to Kelly Kelly, Maryse, and Beth Phoenix to try to rebuild their decimated Women's division, Kelly and Maryse turned down the first offer, and are currently considering an improved deal, no word on Beth's decision.
Shad Gaspard has also revealed he is working on a return to the promotion.
Rob Van Dam:
RVD is a free agent, his contract expired last week (with TNA), he will now decide between another TNA deal (they are talking), a WWE return or retirement, which he says he will consider before signing a new deal with anyone.
Jesse Sorenson:
Despite TNA promising him a big push, Jesse Sorenson is said to be worried about getting back into the ring after his awful accident, that is why he has taken a office job with TNA, he was doing his new role at Lock Down this past weekend.
TNA live taping's hit trouble:
TNA are asking for $25,000 from arena's to host their Impact events, that would mean the arena would have to sell 1000 tickets just to break even, something TNA very rarely achieve.
Kofi wants main event push:
In a recent interview, Kofi Kingston has rubbished criticism about WWE putting him on a losing streak since dropping the IC belt, saying his sights are set on the top spot in the promotion...
"I'm focusing right now on breaking into that top tier,I feel that now I'm so close, you know. Not to toot my own horn or anything, but like I said, I feel I can go out there with anybody and be great. It's just a matter of getting opportunities to do so and staying the course of what I do. I always say that I don't have control over what the direction of the show will be, and what storylines I'll be in. But what I do have control over is being in the ring and doing what I do. Regardless of what's going on and whomever I'm in there with, I'll be able to go out there and do some incredible things. It's like I said, I always want to be moving ahead."
He said he would prefer to stay face, but would go heel if it meant getting the chance to shine vs the top stars.

TNA under fire:

HOF announcement pulled:
WWE had scheduled the next Hall Of Fame announcement for this past weeks Raw, but they pulled it, in respect of Paul Bearer's passing, he was not the name to be announced.
Vince causing issues:
Vince McMahon is causing deep resentment in Creative, he is trying to take control of the minutiae of the WresteMania stories and is being, according to a member of the Creative team... "A massive pain in the a** to work with right now."
Stephanie McMahon, in an attempt to reconcile the situation asked creative to come up with more options for Vince to choose from, which did not go down well at all, Creative are already battered working on Mania stories, and the request for them to increase their workload was not popular at all, especially following WWE axing the head of creative last week, leaving the department without a clear leader to fight their corner.
Massive heat:
Brad Maddox and Michael Cole are in the doghouse right now following the messy Highlight Reel segment on Raw, Maddox for messing his promo up on live TV, and Cole for drawing attention to how bad it was.
It apparently stemmed from technical issues with the Jeritron, it was pivotal to the script, and Maddox was not able to improvise his way around it not being in the ring as planned.
Happy accident benefits NXT star:
WWE are planning on using the happy accident of NXT star Jake Carter (Vader's Son) having the same name as The Miz's character in The Marine 3 as a reason to promote him to the main roster for a run vs Miz using the movie script as a creative vehicle for the feud.
CM Punk injury:
CM Punk was injured during the Raw main event this week, The camera's kept cutting away from Punk during the match while he was treated by medical trainers, he needed the help multiple times during the bout, but did finish.
ROH star Jay Brisco is also injured right now, suffering a separated shoulder.
Hulk Hogan confirms plans for a title shot for himself:
"The weird thing is, now I got two new knees, two new hips; after eight back surgeries my back's fixed, I think I should be getting a title shot pretty soon. The oldest Heavyweight Champion of the world."
WWE star arrested... again:
Jimmy Uso was arrested for the second time for DUI last night. (Pic to follow).
WWE feature:
WWE go back to the Funkin' Dojo, where some of the attitude era's top stars learnt their craft, including Future Hall Of Famer Edge, Val Venis, Steve Blackman and more.
New Alumni:
WWE.com have added the New TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bubba Ray Dudley, and his Brother D'Von Dudley to their Alumni section today.
