WWE heat over new show:
WWE have been getting blasted all week for the new PPV Greatest Royal Rumble. They have been criticised for accepting vast amounts of money from the controversial regime that runs the country, for glorifying the regime, for ignoring the countries alleged oppression of women, including having their own female talent banned from making the trip for the event and telling any women that wanted to attend that they had to be accompanied by a man. Top stars have also been criticised, Forbes went so far as to say WWE are on their knees to the kingdom, for doing media praising the country, papering over the human rights issues that are prevalent in the nation. They also had talent pop for the nation during the show and aired a promotional VT for the governing regime.

- A prayer break was held during the show, but the usual 1 hour sabbatical was cut to 15 minutes.
- Old boy Shaun Daivari appeared.
- Big Show and Sami Zayn did not take their announced spots in the Rumble.
- A new title and trophy were presented as the prizes for the GRR.

Impact star leaves:
Braxton Sutter says he is gone from Impact.
