New movie:


British wrestling takes center stage in a new comedy movie, which has hit cinemas today (Photo).


NXT releases:


WWE have cut more stars from the PC. Sage Beckett, ex of TNA, and one of the 2016 Chinese intake, Guangming Gu, have both joined Kimber Lee. Sage says she plans to move away from the sport.


Flair backs Cena:


Ric Flair says he would like to see John Cena take his World title reign record...

"I think it's great. If anybody deserves that honor, it's John. He's a trooper. 16 years, no time off, very unselfish, the king of Make-A-Wish,just a great guy. He's the flagship. He has done everything that it takes. John completely devoted and committed to being the flagship for the company and he is. So if he wins 17, I'll be happy for him. I'll be the person to shake his hand."


Dolph wanted to stay gone:


Dolph Ziggler says he wanted to stay away from WWE for a much longer time than he did...

"I will say that I really begged and pleaded for a couple months off the television show because no matter how good I am or what I'm up to, it seems that 99 times out of 100 I would lose. I didn't think that I deserved to be on the TV show if I was someone that was losing every night, so I asked to be taken off. I was hoping for maybe six months or a year and it ended up being four weeks."


Alum ready:


DH Smith is one of the latest stars to accept Sheamus' WrestleMania challenge, via his partner Lance Hoyt. There is speculation that Sheamus' social media posts are him going into business for himself after a WWE leak suggested the red Tag belts were not scheduled to be on the Mania card, so he is trying to force WWE's arm by getting people talking.


Impact:


Evan Bourne and Allie won gold on Impact last night.


Injuries:


Rey Mysterio has torn his bicep, but it is not as bad as first thought. Bobby Fish is gone for 6 months after having knee surgery. Adam Cole will defend his NXT Tag gold in his stead until he returns.


Dusty classic:


The final two teams in the Dusty Rhodes classic will challenge Undisputed Era at the pre Mania NXT special in a triple threat. The winning team gets the trophy and the belts.


Re-debut:


ECIII worked his first WWE match since returning over the weekend.


Heat on Hall:


Scott Hall has offended the family of British Bulldog after saying he and Lex Luger failed as wrestlers. He drew angry retorts from Davey's wife and daughter before deleting his jibe.


Ultimate deletion:


WWE taped the end of the Matt vs Bray feud at the Hardy compound yesterday.


Flair - movie star:


Ric Flair has signed to appear opposite Glenn Close in a new film, his second announced in the past couple of days.


New DVD:


WWE have a DVD on the history of women's wrestling in the works.


Homeless Alum:


Darren Young will sleep rough later this month to raise awareness of homelessness. He is one of a number of people from all walks of life taking part in the campaign.
