Christian talks retirement:

"The way that I look at it is if I was earlier in my career, I think I would have had a bigger problem with it but I have accomplished so much in my career. The only thing I didn't do was headline WrestleMania. That was the only thing I would love to have done but didn't get a chance to do. Other than that, I was 2 time world heavyweight champion, we have had how many great ladder matches, stole the show at WrestleMania, travelled the world – if I didn't have those experiences and didn't have the accomplishments that I already did, I think it would have been harder for me, you know what I mean? I definitely realized at the time that I was closer to the end of my career then I was to the start so I think that made it easier than if I had been 31 – 30 or 31 years old."

Colt Cabana has revealed he was close to a WWE return in 2014, but CM Punk's walkout killed the deal...

"They wanted me to be, I think, an NXT ring announcer, right? 2014, and I went down there. And 2013… What happened, I think, Punk's DVD came out. I think Triple H watched it, and I think he went, 'oh my God, this guy can talk, like, I didn't know that.' I was in the company for two years, but nobody tells those guys that." Cabana continued, "and I think that's how I got fired too, is Kevin Dunn, literally, is the rumors I hear, allegedly, allegedly, allegedly, a third time, saw me on TV and said, 'this guy? No! Get rid of him!' I think that's what I heard happened. I did a tryout and then I did a tryout at Titan Towers and I never heard from them for eight months. So eight months pass, I think, nothing happens. Punk is getting pissy about his position. And so, I think that's one of the things he complains about, 'you guys don't do this, you don't do this, and then you call Colt and you don't even call him'. And they're like, 'oh my God! We didn't' so they call me in for another one. They call me back and nothing happens. And I do a second one and I think I did really well and then, eight months, nothing happened. Eight months later, they start sending me down to NXT for three weekends in a row. So what happened was, after the third week, and then, the fourth week, Punk ended up leaving. And then, the day after, I got a call saying, 'I don't think we're interested.'"

In reference to Survivor Series...

"I loved the Goldberg finish. I think it was very smart. Had they gone out there for about a 10-minute match, and kind of been a little bit plodding, or maybe somebody blows up or whatever it may be, I don't think it would have been as effective. It was a shock-value, water cooler moment. Everybody's talking about it; it sets up for a huge main event rematch; and we have something to talk about, so I think it was a great idea. Everyone was shocked; everyone was surprised, but after thinking about it for a minute, I think it was actually a pretty brilliant finish. So congratulations to those guys. Congratulations to Goldberg for coming back and making his mark right away."

"It wasn't at all what I expected. I thought it would be more about wrestling but it was more about healing between a man and his family. It was certainly a great night for me and I will never forget it. I am so grateful to the McMahons for allowing me the opportunity when it seemed like I did everything in the world to keep me out of the Hall of Fame. I made mistakes but they were big enough in their own right to forgive me for those and I can never thank them enough for that. The McMahon family put me through several rehabs. They didn't work but they got me closer to being better. Finally the thing with DDP did work because it was the right mixture of things at the time. I just encourage anybody who is struggling to never give up. That's the bottom line. That's what the disease wants. It wants you dead. If plan A doesn't work try plan B. If plan B doesn't work try plan C and just keep the hope alive. When you find the right formula it will be worth it. It might be Kool-Aid instead of iced tea."

He thought he was black. I said 'He ain't black and if I was you I wouldn't.' He said 'Well we're marines and we'll do whatever the hell we want.' And I said 'Not tonight, it's gonna be a bad night if you guys do something to him.' It just kept going worst downhill, downhill, and finally a couple went over and started messing with Haku and it was freaking kick, kick, and up in the throat. Then four or five of them were laying and the rest of them were looking, it was me, Curt, and Rude, and Rude took a couple guys out and it was over before it even got started."

Internet people, or at least those not blessed with intelligence, slammed the couple for abusing their child by making him get ink, leading to Otunga making this sarcastic response...

''It's a shame we have to address this, but clearly iamjhud & I seem like the type of parents to take our 7 year-old child to a tattoo parlor and subject him to the pain & trauma of getting a permanent tattoo from a tattoo artist's needle. Even though that's against the law, we don't mind posting pictures of him flexing his illegal tattoo. Thank you to the "concerned" fans for your comments.''

"That was the first Survivor Series I was ever in and there was a lot of star power. It was obviously a big match and a big moment. When you wrestle as often as we did, you don't remember every match, but I do remember that. I am not taking anything away from the other guys in the match, but I knew Zeus was there for his look. He was a monster, and Warlord and Barbarian were good, but I also knew that, in the truest sense of the word, I was going to have to carry the match for my team. I did that a lot. When I tagged with Andre, and I loved tagging with Andre, but Andre started having some physical issues, so I did all the bouncing around in the ring, and I did it joyfully."

Note...

Tyson Kidd says WWE pulled him from Total Diva's because they did not want his injury to be a feature of the series. He refused to go into detail but speculation is WWE would be embarrassed at best and put into a very difficult position at worst, with the inundation of former stars lawsuits they have been hit with in recent months, should one of their stars be shown on TV every week discussing the injury that ended his career, and nearly killed him, and having footage of his day to day struggle with the effects of the damage to his body. I saw it as the purest of pure, here is the driven snow and I want him to be black as night and evil as the day was long. And so he was gonna be the Yin to my Yang. So when he came in the original idea was that he would come in under the name 'Kane', the first man to ever commit murder 'Kane and Abel'. Kane murdered his brother Abel and that he would be Brother Love's -- the outfit that they drew up for him made him look like an old fashioned Undertaker. And so he was Kane the Undertaker. Then we dropped the Kane name after about two or three weeks and he just became The Undertaker."

Goldberg talks WWE return:

"The promo that I did in Denver, I was definitely afraid of doing that because I'm not a mic guy. I'm not a entertainer like that, I smash people. That's how I entertain people, that's what gets people at the edge of their seat, not by what I say. So after 12 years they are expecting to hear from me. When you're a 30-year-old terminator, they don't want to see anything negative, but when you're one click away from the big 5-0 I think you can come back and show a vulnerable side. I've been a fan of his for a long time, I was at his fights for god sake. At the end of the day, 12 years removed, he's the last guy I wrestled, I beat him, not many people on the planet have done that."

Steiner backs Goldberg:

''Six months ago today I couldn't bend over to put my shoes on. I couldn't lift my arms up to get dressed. I couldn't hold my hand up to do my makeup. I couldn't sit stand or walk without pain. I knew it was bad when I realized all these things weren't going away and when the left side of my spine and neck started to constantly spasm. It was even more scary finding out I needed surgery on my spine right away because the spasms and the weakness in my left arm were from nerve damage from the herniated disc pressing on my spinal cord. But in that instant all I could think was that I was lucky I wasn't paralyzed! Six months ago I had surgery and you can see the removed disc above. Today I stand here happy to say I'm fit and healthy. It was a crazy ride but I stayed positive, focused and determined to be better than before. After all, I didn't move my life across the world and leave everything behind for nothing. I fully believe that everything happens for a reason and maybe I needed to fall back for a while away from the crowd so that I can come back and take that spotlight... And believe me I will!''

You wanna do better than them."

Promoter responds:

Mike Quackenbush has responded to Dawn Marie Bytch's letter to him yesterday...

''Got a letter that was kinda angry, but also, kinda true. It's true that when I was first breaking on the East Coast independent scene I was different, and by wrestling standards of the day, small. I was 19 years old, dumb, gawky and immature; I liked weird wrestling styles and did overly-complicated moves and showed up in my pathetic homemade gear. People rolled their eyes, and I was often the punchline of jokes. In the locker room, it was always made clear I did not belong. I was made to know it backstage, and sometimes, made to feel it in the ring. Back then, I was starting as a freelance writer for the wrestling magazines of the day. Insider newsletters were growing in popularity to keep pace with the Monday Night Wars, and the internet was expanding exponentially. I had connections in all those realms, and it's true that I manufactured my notoriety. I manipulated every aspect of the media that was available to me for maximum exposure and coverage. I did it shamelessly. There's no denying the truth of that. It's true that I was never one of the boys. The generation of pro-wrestlers, and managers, and valets, that think the only way to honor tradition and legacy is by clinging to the old ways of doing things…I will never be one of them. The performers who were hand-selected, because of their size and stature, and then afforded every opportunity at success by the old guard…I will never be one of them. That old paradigm has no room for an undersized nerd with a pathetic homemade costume and weird ideas about "the business." For that reason, and for so many more, I will never be one of them. It's so true. I think about the favored few, those well-tanned guys and their awesome physiques, and those gorgeous ladies and their perfect poise, and me - the awkward neurotic freak in their midst. They were not my tribe. I've always been a misfit toy and no matter how hard I work, that will never change…and I guess in the intervening decades I forgot that. I needed to be reminded, and luckily, this letter said just that in explicit terms that could not be ignored. Thank you. Thank you for reminding me not just that I am an outcast, but also the feeling of being ostracized. You've given me new resolve. This simple reminder of the sting of exclusion makes it so clear to me that pro-wrestling must grow to include everyone. These last couple days have been filled with impossibly complicated decisions and conversations, and I'd be lying if I said I haven't second-guessed the things I've said and done. It's been so hard. But nowhere near as hard as it was to swim with the sharks that mocked me, and pummeled me. Thank you for the insults and the lumps that have made me who I am today. Thank you for excluding me, so that I could grow up to learn the value of inclusion. I'm not that gawky kid in the homemade gear anymore. And better still: I've found my tribe. Because I've spoken loud enough and often enough about what I believe professional wrestling can be, I've attracted a tribe all my own. So many misfit toys in one place, we are practically an island unto ourselves. We are not the hand-selected. We are not the favored few. We will never be one of them, and we wouldn't have it any other way. I had only to read this letter, and then it Dawned on me: my responsibility is to manipulate and manufacture an island where no misfit toy will ever feel the alienation that I did. Ideologies like the one in this letter, they are relics of the past. And yes, the old paradigm has written the history books. But the future? That is ours to write.''

So definitely Edge vs. Zack Ryder is my dream match."
