TV icon praises Vince McMahon:


New WWE presenter Jerry Springer says of his new boss...

"He is an icon in the whole concept of entertainment. He knows exactly what his audience is and what he wants to do. In show business, that is rare. Everybody strives for that. To find a niche and keep focused on it and not branch too much outside your comfort zone, I mean he knows what he wants. He knows what works. He knows his audience."


WWE stars comment on US troubles:


Zeb Colter has warned the people of Baltimore that martial law is coming to their town. This is in the wake of recent troubles in the city, following a police related death in the area.

The Rock also offered his advice to those involved in the riots...

''This won't reach everyone but it may reach a few. Destroying the city isn't the answer. I know what it's like to be down and frustrated But chaos won't get you heard. We need to honor the Gray family's wishes, end the violence and see real leaders emerge Ain't preachin' here, just sending word.''


Billy Corgan:


Billy Corgan says he is going to explore some controversial subject matter in his new role as head of TNA creative. He has raised the idea of exploring race and transgender issues in their future angles.

TNA are thrilled with the wider media response to Corgan joining their staff.

Corgan has also announced he has bought the rights to the archive of Chicago promoter Bob Luce. The collection includes thousands of photo's of the legends of the sport. Corgan says he will put together a website, and a book, to showcase the images he now owns.

Hall Of Famer dies:


Verne Gagne, legend of AWA, and a WWE Hall Of Famer, has died aged 89. Verne died yesterday after a long period of illness.

TNA announcer quits:


Hector Guerrero has ended 8 years with TNA. He says he has decided to move on from the promotion.

Booker T apology:


Booker T has apologised for offending friends, family and fans of the late Owen Hart. He was in conversation with JBL during the Neville vs Luke Harper King Of The Ring heat when it was said that Neville could be the first high flying King Of The Ring, JBL brought Owen Hart's name into the conversation, but Booker shot that down, saying Owen ''Didn't defy gravity'' in the way Neville can. He has today issued this statement in response to the heat that followed immediately from the back, and from fans on social media since...

''I would never say anything to disrespect the legacy of Owen Hart. If I did offend anyone, I apologize.''

WWE have cut the remark from future airings of the broadcast.

Amazing Red says he holds no interest in a return to TNA.



JR making changes:


Jim Ross says he has quit smoking and has cut down on eating junk food, as he aims at improving his health.



WWE good deed:


Triple H spent time today with a young fan who is currently recovering from two heart surgeries. He presented him with some merch, but was not happy that he asked for Daniel Bryan gear, and took a punch to the face from the young man.

Daniel Bryan has been pulled from all events until June 28.
