Today's News

Paige written out:

Naomi attacked Paige after the Brit won a battle royal on Raw last night. This is likely to write Paige out of the stories so she can go to make her movie, although she is now number one contender for the Diva's title at Extreme Rules.

Fandango:

WWE have started a face turn for the balletic brawler.

Seth Rollins interview:

On WrestleMania loss...

"It takes two to tango I suppose so I guess being on the receiving end of an RKO that people are pretty pleased about is a consolation for losing that match, although was hoping to catch up to Undertaker on the Wrestlemania winning streak!."

On the NXT star he wants to face...

"Probably Sami Zayn. He's a guy who is one of the most resilient performers that we've ever seen, and he's got an incredible connection with the audience. No offense to Finn Balor but he doesn't need a crazy entrance and body paint, he doesn't have all the wild athleticism that Neville has, he doesn't necessarily have the wits about him that a Kevin Owens does, or the fanfare of Hideo Itami, but he has that little intangible that sets him apart from everybody else."

On working in the UK...

"I love it over here it's great. I think the big thing is that we're only over here twice a year so there doesn't appear to be an oversaturation of WWE in the British market. The fans seem very excited to see us, they're very respectful during the matches and just enjoy watching us perform. It's very refreshing to have that emphasis put back to what we're doing in the ring. The crowds are electric so it's a pleasure to come over here and work in front of the British fans."

WWE censor Cesaro:

WWE edited this weeks Raw. A huge pop for Cesaro was edited out, and played over Randy Orton's entrance instead.

TNA issues:

TNA are having major issues with their new network hosts Destination America. The network are ''Calling the shots'' telling TNA how they want the show run, and are adamantly unresponsive to TNA officials counter arguments. The major issue will affect UK fans. Destination America are said to have informed TNA that they will not accept any more tapings of the Impact show being taped outside of the USA. They will allow a tour, but when it comes to the shows they air on their channel, they want to maintain their nationalistic ethos of Americana programming. TNA are not happy about this, the UK market has been a major earner for them over the years.

Destination America are also involving themselves in booking, they asked for Kurt Angle to be given the TNA title, as they like the idea of having a gold medal winning American holding the top title.

Taz no showed the last taping, and there will be consequences, according to TNA officials. He reportedly refused to get on a flight unless they paid him what they owed him first. TNA are now planning on removing him from the announce desk, and are trying Al Snow out, as a possible replacement.

In better news though, their talent have now received their paycheques for the past two months, one arrived on Saturday, the other Monday.

Uhaa Nation talks why he signed for WWE:

Uhaa Nation says Kevin Owens advised him to take the chance to join WWE, and that he is excited by the challenge...

"I knew it was going to be a huge opportunity. I had to try to stand out in some way, shape or form. The entire time I tried to keep a positive outlook, tried to talk and keep a positive vibe. It worked because I'm here. I knew I had charisma, and I knew I wanted to showcase that to WWE. When it came to the promo or, as Dusty Rhodes describes it, the red-light district, I knew that was my time. I knew it was my opportunity to really showcase a little bit of the range I had in terms of portraying a character. When it was me and that light for a minute, it was a whole different level and focus. I made sure I made a lasting impact. Thankfully, it worked."

The Briscoes:

ROH have bettered the WWE contract offer to the Briscoe brothers. Mark and Jay went back to WWE to ask them to match the new financial package, but WWE refused. The Briscoes are now expected to stay with Ring Of Honor.

WWE have since declared Triple H decided not to offer a deal after becoming away of the anti homosexuality views and comments.

Daniel Bryan:

Daniel Bryan is in ''Rough shape''. He is struggling with his injuries from last year, and WWE are trying to protect him as much as possible. They have kept him off some TV's and are putting him in multi man matches, but are growing ever more concerned for Bryan's future.

Hall Of Famer in surgery:

Bobby Heenan has undergone an important surgery today. No more information is currently available, other than it went well, and he is now recovering.

Layla had her first match for six months last night.
