Austin to TNA:

Steve Austin has been in talks with Dixie Carter today. He interviewed her for his podcast. The interview will air next week.

WWE, you're no fun:

Scott Stanford from the WWE announce team posted a parody Tough Enough application video to YouTube, but WWE had it taken down all three times he posted it.

Goldust:

Goldust has been having some problems with his shoulder. This is the reason for his medical checks yesterday. He assured his fans the tests are merely a precautionary measure.

NXT:

NXT have named their next special ''Unstoppable''.

Lana:

WWE are planning a huge face turn, plot twist, name change, and major push for Lana. They will, at the request of Vince McMahon, who is a massive fan, reveal her to be American, as she turns on Rusev, and will start to call her CJ, partly because it is the abbreviation of her real name, and partly because they want to make her character a Pamela Anderson type (A blonde glamour puss). Pamela had the same name during her time on the show ''Baywatch.'' She will then be pushed as the top female face of the WWE going forward, they have not stated whether or not that will include her getting in the ring as a grappler, or if they plan on using her as they used to with Sunny.

Ric Flair:

Ric Flair is preparing for his first podcast this week. His guest will be Kurt Angle.

Seth Rolllins:

Seth Rollins was reportedly asked to stop using the curb stomp by WWE legal. This comes in response to the concussion lawsuits WWE have been served with by former stars.

TNA pay issues:

TNA production crew are still reportedly waiting for their pay for March, and an un-named TNA wrestler demanded to be paid in full, or he would jump to Jeff Jarrett's new GFW promotion. Dave Meltzer claims that the office ignored the ultimatum, until he broke the story, at which point they ''Straightened the issue out quickly.''

Ronda Rousey:

Stephanie McMahon is expected to address the Ronda Rousey situation tonight, as she is interviewed by Chris Jericho on the Network. WWE still hope to get an agreement for a match at next years WrestleMania, and are adamant that, despite Dana White shutting talks of a Rousey WWE match down, the planned bout is not a dead deal, and that they have plenty of time to sort something out.

WWE Network:

WWE are happy with the response to the King Of The Ring Network special, and are planning more Tuesday night live exclusive specials for the channel, to be aired after the SmackDown taping.

GFW:

GFW have hired Scott D'Amore and Sonjay Dutt to the office, and Dutt is contacting talent offering as many as 39 dates. Top of their list is reportedly Roderick Strong, with the Dudley Boys, Chris Masters and Shelton Benjamin also said to have received a phone call from Sonjay in recent days.

Jarrett has however denied Eric Bischoff is involved in the project. He accused UK fans of reading too much into their comments at a recent Q&A session.

Top stars go home:

Randy Orton and John Cena have been given this weekend off.

The Miz tells wrestling fans why they don't like Roman Reigns:

"Everyone is entitled to their opinion, that is now a problem, but the fact is Roman Reigns works hard. A lot of the things you read are like, 'they system is giving him the push.' It's like who cares if it is or it isn't? The guy is talented, the guy is good at what he does. If WWE ignored him they'd love him even more. They like people that it's like, 'we made him.' Like Daniel Bryan."

WWE financial:

WWE have reported drastic drops in the buy rate for the early events of 2015, but put it down to those events being available on the Network this year, when they were not last. They have actually seen a 40% rise in their revenues for the first quarter of the year. They did however say they are considering raising the price of the Network for the months of WrestleMania, and SummerSlam each year, but that plans are not currently in place to do so. They also conceded WrestleMania being in the first quarter of this year, rather than the second, helped in the spike in earnings for this quarter.

The positive report did not go down as well as hoped, their share price dropped by $2 from $15.44 per share to $13.25.

WWE failed to get a heel response from the crowd for home town boy Seth Rollins. They had him cut a backstage promo trashing and insulting the town and the people, but he still got a huge pop. Possibly because he had done an out of kayfabe interview with local media professing his love for the town and people earlier in the day, (Or possibly because wrestling fans are smarter than WWE give them credit for).

"Daniel Bryan trained me a long time ago. That's how I got my foot in the door. Training has always been my one true passion, it's what I really love about pro wrestling. I thought I had unique experiences and perspectives to share with the women in NXT. WWE agreed, and here I am."

Today's News

UFC vs Wrestling:

Michael Bisping says CM Punk has made the biggest mistake of his life...

"If you're coming from a professional wrestling background like he is, this isn't story time with mom and dad. This is the real thing. He's going to learn pretty hard and pretty fast that this was a gigantic mistake on his behalf. This is the hurt business. If he wants a piece of the action, my name is Michael Bisping, I am employed by the UFC, give them a call. I don't see that phone call coming in."

Bas Rutten says Brock Lesnar is right to stay away from MMA...

"No he shouldn't do MMA anymore. Because you could tell that he didn't enjoy to get hit. You know? And I'm not saying that a fighter needs to enjoy getting hit, but at least they shouldn't be afraid of it. Once you start looking away from punches, that means that something you're doing wrong here. Either in training you're not going all the way, or they tell their sparring partners that they cannot hit the head. It's something that is not forbidden. You cannot shy away from punches, because that doesn't work in Mixed Martial Arts. You have to fix that problem. We didn't see him fix it over the time. If the heart is not in it, man it's like with me; after I lost my last time I was so angry with myself. I could not believe that I still couldn't do the ground game. I just started doing it two to three times a day, every day, and then suddenly it started clicking. Click, click, click, you know? You work on your weaknesses. That's what you do. And you know I didn't see that with him. He's a phenomenal athlete, don't get me wrong, but yeah. No, I think it's the right decision for him."

And finally Dana White has ended talks of a WWE return for Ronda Rousey...

"What she did was awesome. I loved it, (But) She's a one and done. No matches."

Goldberg confirms wrestling return:

Bill Goldberg is coming back to wrestling, but says he will not work his one last match for WWE...

"I'm going to make an appearance in professional wrestling, but it won't be for the WWE. If I put wrestling boots and wrestling trunks on one last time -- and I'm going to -- it's going to be done by me, and me only. Anything I did with the WWE was not therapeutic, by any stretch of the imagination. The reality is that nobody's going to tell you that because they have an umbilical cord hooked to Vince McMahon. I, ladies and gentlemen, do not. So therefore, I can say what I want and not have any repercussions because I don't rely on them for a job."

Drew McIntyre talks return to Scotland:

"It's crazy to think that I made my professional wrestling debut 13 years ago in Paisley. Time has gone so fast and I've achieved so much, but I'm just getting started and returning to Paisley is so exciting. Making my debut there, having my last appearance before leaving to America, now making my return is pretty cool. Paisley has always been a special place in my life."

Triple H talks training boxer:

Triple H has recalled training boxer Floyd Mayweather for his WrestleMania 24 match...

"When I was working out with Floyd to get him ready for WrestleMania, his whole crew would be there. He always has 4,000 people around him. He's got a huge entourage, and he would be laughing and everybody carrying on. And there would be that moment when we'd say, 'OK, let's get started,' and he'd say, 'Everybody out,' and everyone who didn't need to be there would leave, and no one made a peep. He was laser-focused. Mentally he was like a trap. We'd work on something, I wouldn't see him for two weeks and he'd remember exactly what I had said. To be honest, it was super easy to get him ready."

WWE games:

WWE's 2K15 PC game will be released on April 28.

Terrell supports signing:

Taryn Terrell says she fully supports TNA signing her ex husband Drew McIntyre. She says they have always maintained an amicable relationship, and she is excited for him to get the second chance, after his WWE days ended.

Triple H:

HHH says he always wanted to work behind the scenes, and his relationship with Stephanie McMahon was a happy accident...

"I started in '95, so early in '96. I just was always fascinated with the behind the scenes of the business and how it all came together as much as I was doing it in the ring. He and I just kind of clicked in that sense and we started working together. I didn't meet Steph, his daughter, until quite a few years later, and then we ended up having a relationship and the whole thing. But I had this working relationship with Vince, and as time went on and I got more and more involved in that, kinda later in my career, he used to ask me, 'when are you going to stop messing around in the ring and come do some real work in the office? You need to be in the office.'"

But if they want me to do commentary, apparently I'm pretty good at talking s--t, so I'll be happy to do it.''

Ric Flair talks TNA days, hopes of a WWE ring return:

"Good by whose standards? Ric Flair standards or TNA standards? Could I entertain them, yeah. I was far from being Ric Flair back then. I just got bored. I missed the business. There are nice people there. Dixie's [Carter] a nice person. Hulk [Hogan] talked me into it and I went with it. I love Kurt Angle, I love Sting, and I love James Storm. I have a lot of friends [in TNA] that I still think the world of. It wasn't like I was working. It wasn't like I was Ric Flair. I can always talk. I can talk tomorrow if they want me to and I can get bumped around. I just have to keep my clothes on because cosmetics is a major issue at this point (laughs). Even though I look good, I look really good for my age. I hate that saying more than anything else ... 'you really look good for your age.' Hey, how about 'screw you buddy (laughs).' I want to look good because I look good not just for my age. It's a cosmetic issue, not a health issue. I could wrestle tomorrow. I wouldn't want to be in the main event of WrestleMania but if I had to wrestle Hogan tomorrow I could pull that off or a guy like Kane. He's the best in the world. I could wrestle Randy Orton blindfolded."

Top star working sick:

John Cena says he worked this weeks TV's with a 100 degree fever.

TNA pay issues:

Trouble is brewing between TNA talent, and their production team. The production crew were finally paid, 70 days late, and $1000 down on what they were owed, for their work on the UK tour earlier this year, but are furious that talent were paid in full, after the news of the pay problems broke on the net, with their outstanding monies docked to be able to make up the cheques for the wrestling roster, they allege.

The CM Punk vs Kenta feud is back, Punk replied to a Matt Jackson tweet that he would never steal another wrestlers finisher, referring to Kenta (Hideo Itami) using the GTS move at WrestleMania Axxess. Kenta, who always used the move before joining WWE, replied...

''He is a real comedian.''

Taker to WCW:

Kevin Nash says he almost got an agreement from The Undertaker to join WCW in 2000, but Vince threw money at him to get him to change his mind...

"We had 'Taker close. All of a sudden he wasn't the Deadman. He became the American Badass for a reason. That Deadman wasn't going to f—kin' come to WCW. He would have been the biker character and gone by Mark Calaway. All along, I was trying to get guys money, and what happened was Vince started giving huge guarantees to the Shawns and Undertakers and those guys and said, 'I can't lose my core guys.'"

I call BS on this... don't believe it for a minute.

During the same interview, which also featured Scott Hall and X-Pac, Hall said of Chris Jericho...

"Jericho's just a whining p--s. If you have any talent, you can't be held back and you can't be held down. Jericho just whines and whines. He's gone on to be tremendously successful, and he's still got a hard on for us. I don't get it, but nobody makes headlines for saying, 'Those guys are great guys. You talk about what d—-ks we are, and then some guy sits down and interviews you."

To which X-Pac added...

"Jericho realized, once he got to WWE, 'Holy s—, I don't know what the f—ck I'm doing here. That's why Vince made him come to me and run his matches by me, even he was working with Boss Man or something. You think you know, until you finally know."

Triple H talks accusations of burying talent:

"That's one of the terms, 'he buried him.' It's a show. Comic books, soap opera, TV drama, it never ends. They get so upset in the moment of thinking that it's the end of the chapter. There's another chapter tomorrow. They don't understand the complexities of what goes on behind the scenes."

Today's News

Brad Maddox:

Brad Maddox has had his first WWE match in over a year. He beat Zack Ryder.

Hall Of Famer tells Bryan to change:

Jim Ross says the time has come for Daniel Bryan to adapt his ring style...

"Hopeful that Daniel Bryan is going to be OK soon but he has to change some of the things that he does whether he wants to or not and not be a prisoner to his on reputation as being one of the best wrestlers in the world. He could eliminate many things from his repertoire and still be one of the best talents in the business. His health is much more important than diving head butts, drop kicks where he strikes the back of his head on the canvas, etc. His most important job in life isn't being a wrestler but a son, husband and perhaps some day a father. Without great health, those lots in life are more challenging and they're not easy for a healthy person."

''If a man were a woman for just one day the entire world would be a different place. PMS, periods, 9 months of hell, child raising, working, yet we still get paid less, without any justification but that we were born this way.''

She then started taking some grief for her comments, and tweeted this...

'I am blocking people that write nasty degrading comments below about women. I will not tolerate that on my Twitter feed.''

Curb Stomp:

The Curb Stomp is not banned, WWE sources are straining to make sure every news site on the net clarifies that point, but they asked Rollins to change his finisher. They want him to have an impact move that he can hit at any time, and on any one. They do not feel the Curb Stomp fits that bill.

She really just felt like she had given everything that she needed to give to this sport in general, and taught people — especially the Divas — as much as she could. She had four amazing WrestleManias, and she made such an impact that she felt like she could walk away and be content with that. I 100 percent support that. I myself have come pretty close in the past, especially in 2010 I came very close in a few matches on pay-per-view. Eventually it's got to happen - if you look at the calibre of wrestlers in the past that have come from our island it is incredible that it has not happened.
