TNA:
Spike Officials attended this weeks TNA tapings in New York, worryingly one of the shows drew a very poor crowd, and TNA had people giving tickets away to pedestrians in the street, trying to fill the arena. WWE star prepares for retirement:

Sunny on getting into wrestling:
"Well my high school sweetheart was Chris Candido and I was going to college on a full academic scholarship, I was going to be a plastic surgeon. He got hired for Smokey Mountain in Knoxville, TN and I transferred schools down there. Within a month Jim Cornette hired me because he needed a girl on TV that no one has seen before. That 6 months lasted 2 and a half years and then I got a phone call from Bruce Prichard from the WWF (then) and I was hired…"
Hulk Hogan:
Despite making it clear that he wants to wrestle again, WWE's position on Hogan has not changed, he is considered a retired ambassador. Meanwhile, Hogan is warning promoters not to trust a man who is taking bookings in his name.
Triple H on Husky Harris / Bray Wyatt:
"He wasn't quite connecting with the crowd. Decent hand. Talented kid. Right person. They were going to let him go and I said, 'Let me take him and do something with him.' We moved that character to NXT. We put some other people around him that fit the package. Moved him back onto Raw and Smackdown, and he's one of our most popular superstars Bray Wyatt. I'll go out on a limb and say in 10 years Bray Wyatt will be one of the most memorable characters in WWE." On CM Punk (Without mentioning him by name)... "There is no one performer who is bigger than the WWE. There are superstar performers and megastar performers like John Cena. But he's still not bigger than the WWE. Why doesn't anyone 'hold us up'? Because it would only be a short-term gain. There's no upside for them behind it''
Batista digs WWE:
''It had to do with the fact that (the WWE and I) weren't seeing eye-to-eye, creatively. The stuff they were doing with story lines just didn't make sense to me. ... I'd love to go back. I'm a professional wrestler at heart and I miss it. But I want to be there and be happy with what I'm doing."
Kane:
Speculation is rising that Kane is bringing his movie character Jacob Goodnight to WWE, it is thought his taking off of the mask is the beginning of a gimmick change to promote the upcoming release of the sequel to See No Evil.
Daniel Bryan:
Daniel Bryan's house burgler has led to the arrests of a large criminal gang who had been targeting homes in the Phoenix area for a long while.
Drew McIntyre made that bold claim as he prepares to debut for Evolve in Florida...
"I'm a man on a mission right now. With the experience I have, 13 years now and 7 with WWE, and I just turned 29 I've got a lot of time on my side. I see it as my responsibility to start trying to help wrestling because if I don't do something wrestling is going to die, like wrestling as we know it."
Authority takes charge:
Triple H will likely be installed as the special referee for the Stephanie McMahon vs Brie Bella match at SummerSlam.

"I blocked you because you've been stalking and harassing my girl for too long now. Then stalking me when I had no idea who you were for a pic, just so you could use it to again, to harass my girl. You waited outside the gym to get to me! That's called stalking! I dare you to get a freaking life or just go be a troll somewhere else."

If the deal ends up over in WWE, if a change of circumstances happens, and if it's a no-brainer to get him back into the cage, I'm sure it's something he'd consider. Right now, it's not a topic of conversation. Why would you mess up the WWE deal?"

One more match:
One Hall Of Famer that will not be having one more match is Ricky Steamboat, he says he is done... "No, I've been there and done it against Jericho and I proved a point, so there's no sense in jeopardizing that. Everyone who saw me work that match said I did good for my age. They have a good memory of that and I'd like to leave it at that. I do know some of the older guys who have come back and tried to work in the ring and it's just heartbreaking to see. I don't want to risk all that because the fans still have a pretty good image of me and my last time in the ring."
Vince Russo:
Vince Russo has released a long statement on his current status, and relationship with TNA / Spike TV... ''As always, there has been much rumor, hearsay and scuttlebutt surrounding certain topics concerning myself, TNA and Spike TV. At this point in time, having parted ways with TNA and the ability to finally speak freely–there are a few things that I would like to set the record straight on. 1. As I stated earlier this week on the VIP Section of pyroandballyhoo.com, I was officially hired by John Gaburick as a creative consultant on October 24, 2013, with the plan being that it could lead to a permanent position in the future. At the time of my hiring, the specific instructions laid down to me by Dixie Carter, was that if anyone was to find out about our working relationship outside of me, herself and Gaburick—it would come to an end. I asked why the blanket of secrecy from the start—but never received an answer. Almost 9 months later, when an e-mail that I had accidentally sent out to a third-party was brought to the forefront, Gaburick was untruthful in telling the source involved that I was recently hired to produce the TNA announcers. 2. John Gaburick told me sometime in January/February that at a recent TV taping, he DID INDEED tell Spike representative Scott Fishman, that I was working with TNA as a consultant. He even went as far as to tell me that Scott "was cool" with it. Therefore, the story that Spike just found out about my involvement with TNA merely weeks ago, which caused them to not renew their TNA contract, is an ABSOLUTE MISTRUTH. Spike knew of my TNA presence some 6-plus months prior. 3. YES, I am 100% GUILTY of trying to work that said source who received the e-mail, in an effort to protect the wishes of my employer. I regret even agreeing to be dishonest, deceitful and untruthful from the beginning, but the TRUTH is that I needed the income, so I agreed to the verbal restraints that were dictated to me from the start. I regret that now. Hindsight being 20/20, I should have never accepted the job under those circumstances being that my ability to be honest and truthful with family and friends was taken from me. I hope that clears up many of the rumors that have surrounded me as of late. I take full responsibility for LYING to protect the wishes of my former company, but that is the extent of my responsibility. If I could do it all over again, I would have turned down the job under those guidelines, regardless of the financials involved. There is much more to this story, but I choose to lay it out one step at a time due to the intricacies of the situation. I just feel it is VITAL at this time to, again, get this point across—if John Gaburick did indeed tell me the truth—that he informed Spike representative Scott Fishman of my working relationship with TNA back at the beginning of the year—then SPIKE TV HAD FULL KNOWLEDGE THAT I WAS WORKING WITH TNA OVER SIX MONTHS AGO. In going forward, my focus becomes 100% on my website pyroandballyhoo.com, and those who choose to go along with me on my journey. In addition to that, there are a couple of projects I'm currently working on and just wanted to share with you briefly. - I am in talks to further develop a script that my son Will and I wrote about a year ago called Belle of the Brawl – the premise of the show involves a fictional wrestling company owned and operated by a woman. - Also, I plan on writing the third installment of my wrestling trilogy series that will go into detail concerning my 10 year run with TNA from start to finish. The title of the book is Total Non-Stop Agony, and the plans are to release it digitally through pyroandballyhoo.com. In conclusion, after 20 years of dedicating my blood, sweat and tears to three major wrestling organizations, without ever holding anything back, and always delivering the best product I possibly could, I think it's fair to say that that portion of my life has officially come to an end… …or has it??? Peace, Vince Russo''
TNA:
TNA have been dealt another blow in their TV deal issues. The talent agency that are trying to save their deal with Spike have advised the company that even if they do get a new deal in place they would charge 15% of the value of the agreed deal, meaning TNA would need a 30% increase in the value of the current deal to break even.
CM Punk will never return to WWE:
That is the view of Paul Heyman. He says that, after statements Punk has made since leaving, and a number of plans he has to do other things, he would consider himself a failure should he return to WWE. Heyman also said that at this stage, WWE wouldn't take him back anyway, there are lot of important people that are very angry with the way he handled himself, and the threat of legal action is still very much on the table.
Reign him in:
Batista has called on WWE to slow down the push of Roman Reigns, he feels they are going too fast, and The Shield should have remained together for a longer period of time.

WWE Network:
WWE are regretting allowing multiple users to use a single account, and are planning on limiting the amount of people that can log in on someone's account, hoping people would then subscribe themself. A financial site have suggested the Network could be the death note for WWE, as it is too niche to be successful enough to make them money.
Undertaker:
The Undertaker will make his first comic con appearance on behalf of WWE in October.
SCSA on The Streak:
"Hell, I couldn't believe The Undertaker lost. I didn't see any reason for it. I love The Undertaker and I love Brock Lesnar, but I love the streak, and I just thought it was so special, that it should never, ever be tarnished."
Orton heat:
Randy Orton has had some heat for posting a picture of a fan with the tag ''Miss Piggy''. It later turned out that the fan was someone who had a personal feud with Orton's Girl Friend, and had used Orton's celebrity against her. So it was not just Orton being mean for the sake of it.

Jake vs Warrior:
Jake The Snake Reveals why he did not want to go into the Hall Of Fame the same year as the Ultimate Warrior.
Paul Heyman talks the importance of the streak ending:
"As an advocate and performer, it is the moment. Absolutely. Nothing else is even close. John Cena brought it up on Monday night. 40 men have held the WWE championship. Only one man can say 'I beat the streak'. That's a moment. The only equivalent I can give you is if someone was announced as the President of the United States and someone comes up and says 'I've been elected God'. There have been a few men who ever had the title. Only one man beat the streak."
Macho Man Randy Savage:
WWE have released the store date, and official synopsis for the Randy Savage collection...
"'Macho Man' Randy Savage was best known for his time in World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW). Savage held 20 championships during his professional wrestling career. He held 6 world championships between the WWF and WCW, having won the WWF Championship twice and the WCW World Heavyweight Championship four times. A one time WWF Intercontinental Champion, WWE (formerly WWF) has named Savage as the greatest champion of all time. ''The Randy Savage Story" focuses on the life and career of Randy Macho Man Savage. The title chronicles the highs and lows of Randy's life and career, and shows that while he was extremely driven and highly successful, he was a complex person who also had his struggles over the years. Later in his life, Randy remarried and found peace before his tragic and untimely death."
It will be in a store near you on November 18 2014, and his Brother Lanny will narrate the documentary, his Mother is also involved.
Indy team to WWE:
The Young Bucks are throwing out some pretty unsubtle hints that they are joining WWE, the most obvious of a series of tweets teasing an announcement is... "I wonder where our careers will take us nxt?".
The Brothers were given a tryout in 2011, but ruined their chances by refusing to shake Booker T's hand in the back, many wrestlers were angry at the show of disrespect, most vocally Rob Van Dam, but they recently corrected the problem, shaking the Hall Of Famer's hand at an indy event, then tweeting a picture saying it was an angle all along.
Orton vs the Internet:
Randy Orton has been taking some grief for leaving the military on his Twitter, he replied to one particularly offensive comment writer...
"Bad Conduct Discharge, not Dishonorable. Fact check next time ya D bag"
He also shot down a number of fans bombarding him with personal questions...
"I don't do Q&A's. So stop asking. Try @ZackRyder or @HEELZiggler."
Hogan to return:
Hulk Hogan is training for one more match, his opponent (He hopes) will be John Cena, and WrestleMania would be the likely venue for his retirement match. He is also coming back to WWE TV, and will be involved going into SummerSlam.
"Well it was strong. I was part of the first craziness with Muhammad Ali and Mr. T, but then you fast forward to Wrestlemania 30, with Hulk Hogan coming home to the WWE the place I started it all with Vince. Fast forward 30 years not knowing what to expect and not knowing how much energy was out there and not knowing how much the fans would welcome Hulk Hogan and to have their socks blown off. To top it all off one of Vince McMahon's old tricks in sending Rock and Austin out there was the crescendo of crescendos, brother. The energy out there was amazing. I just wish looking back at it I wish I sucker punched Stone Cold and got a 3 way death match going so I can beat them both."
On The streak...
"It was a Wrestlemania moment that ranks right up there with slamming Andre The Giant. I was sitting in catering grabbing a cup of coffee and my son Nick and I were watching this and he asked who was gonna win. I said The Undertaker of course. When Brock beat him it was like 80,000 people sitting in a funeral. It was something I'll never forget."
On the real John Cena...
"There's more to this business than just winning the belt. This is a business. Cena is relentless. He'll go to meetings, he'll meet Wal Mart owners, shareholders I mean this guy knows what it takes to generate revenue. He can talk to anybody whether it be 4,000 shareholders, New York Stock Exchange, a group of women with breast cancer, he knows how to handle himself and he understands emotions and that's why he's my man."
On Sting to WWE...
"He made his debut at Comic Con and that's all well and good. I ran into him at the airport because we're all on the same flight. I said to him that he needs to wrestle and this is something that needs to be done. He's never established himself on the big stage. No disrespect to his accomplishments, but he was always a southern type of wrestler and always was with NWA or WCW. He has to make that statement. He's still got it and he can still do it and he's still over. If it's not The Undertaker, he needs to wrestle Cena. That's the match. You gotta get in there and have to make your mark. It can't be just a game or an action figure."
He also says his mic botch at Mania was Stephanie McMahon's fault, and that he cut off his Daughter's engagement last year.
Paul Heyman talks TNA:
"I think it's very much time for anybody and everybody to move on, especially on a product that you're trying to push forward. Nostalgia tours are great, but not in a youth oriented and dominated industry. I think the lesson learned in all this is that Spike TV didn't renew them. And one of the reasons has to be that the most passionate reaction they can get is for a product that went away in 2001. And they've been trying to brand themselves since their inception and they can't get it done. They should have spent that time and energy trying to brand themselves and not trying to elicit a response of an audience based on a product that they don't even own."
WWE Alum to wed:
Kelly Kelly has announced her engagement to an NHL star.
AJ Lee:
WWE are pushing a kayfabe injury to WWE Diva's Champ, AJ, they suggest she is concussed and say she has whiplash.
Rodriguez asked to go:
Ricardo Rodriguez left WWE this week, it seems against WWE wishes, his deal was set to be renewed the night after SummerSlam, but Ricardo was bored of being a ring announcer and wanted to get back in the ring, they gave him the chance as El Local, but a badly timed injury saw WWE drop the angle with him, and had him working with the Diva's at the PC, and doing Spanish announcing on PPV events.
Daniel Bryan:
Daniel Bryan will not be back in 2014, Royal Rumble is now the earliest he can come back. He has also upset some in WWE. WWE only heard he needed another surgery during a press conference he did following a burglary at his home, they are not happy about this.
Cesaro:
WWE have big plans for Cesaro, probably a feud with Brock Lesnar at some point post SummerSlam.
WWE have axed 7% of the office staff, around 55 people, 3 rookies from the PC, most notably Slate Randall and 2 NXT stars, Garrett Dylan and Travis Tyler, as well as killing off their WWE Magazine, unless an outside publisher wants to take it on, September's issue will be the last.
UFC legend to TNA:
Tito Ortiz is in talks for his TNA return, he is working on plans for his comeback with Dixie Carter.
NXT:
The next WWE NXT special will air on the Network on September 11. It will be called Takeover 2.
