Today's News

AJ Lee out of character interview:

On her real feelings toward the ''Total Diva's'' show, and heat for refusing to take part...

"I give [the cast of Total Divas] credit. Of course on screen I'm not going to say any of that. (Laughs). I'm going to take jabs and stuff as part of the story. But I'm not a hundred percent against it. As a person, I couldn't do it. The whole story is, they asked me to be on it and I told them no. And it was kind of received the wrong way. I was upset about it and there was a lot of friction between myself and the people who kind of wanted me to jump on board with this show. It's not who I am. I don't think it helps with what I've done so far either. It may be great for the girls who are kind of spokeswoman kind of women. That's not my world. But me not jumping on board was kind of perceived the wrong way. I think Vince likes people who are really brave and quirky and like to take risks and stir the pot sometimes. And he was like "OK. She doesn't want to be on it? Let her tell us all why."

On heat with Jerry Lawler over ''I'm too old for you remark''

She made the jibe whilst commentating with the King on an episode of Raw...

"The funny thing is I get a lot of "oh, I can't believe they let you say that!" Everything that has been kind of controversial in the last couple of weeks has been 100 percent from my mind. It's just been me saying "Let's see how much trouble I can get in. When you do commentary you don't really plan anything. I watch my matches back and Jerry Lawler rubs me the wrong way. The way he talks about the girls and me in particular. As a character I feel like she wouldn't like him. So, I went out there thinking "I'm ready to fight any of you. You can't really plan what you are going to say, but I'm kind of a smart a**. I like to jab. That's who I am. I went out there and they were all sort of attacking me and I was not prepared for that. So I kind of went into smart a** mode. And it happened. (Laughs). We never talked about it, but I think it was fine. It was just a fun little jab I think."

Finally on her tattoo...

"I kind of made the tattoo look like a prison tattoo. I was like a prisoner serving time. To me it was like I finally accomplished something and it was time served. Fourteen years of trying to get here. I made it out of a dark past. That's what it means to me. It just happens to be the date I won the title. That was the ultimate goal. I think that's the only tattoo I'll ever get. I probably won't get a matching one the day I lose it. (Laughs)."

WWE star schooled:

Eva Marie was tweeting about being number one contender for the Diva's Title last night, and fellow diva Natalya, was not impressed responding...

"Yeah, you really could be No. 1 contender. I'd like to see you do a headlock takeover first."

BattleGround news and notes:

* Dolph Ziggler bt Damien Sandow (Pre Show)

* Alberto Del Rio retained the World Title in a very good opener

* The Real Americans bt Great Khali & Santino Marella in a bonus match added to due a timing fail, someone had worked the PPV timings out to longer than it was, no-one noticed the mistake until the day of the show.

* Curtis Axel retained the IC strap vs R-Truth

* AJ Lee retained the Diva's Title vs Brie Bella with a screwy finish.

* The Rhodes family bt The Shield in the match of the night, and regain their WWE jobs as a result.

* Bray Wyatt bt Kofi Kingston

* CM Punk pinned Ryback after a low blow

* That is when the power went out... A power fail in Buffalo crashed the TV feed and power to the arena also went out for around 10 minutes.

* When the power came back it was the main event, but their was no winner, Big Show leveled both men with KO punches, meaning the title is still held up.

Other notes...

* Jason Ayers made his PPV debut as a referee.

* Hall Of Famer Bob Backlund was charging $30 for photo's in the lobby.

* Cody Rhodes had a bad day, his new ring gear for the show was lost int he mail, and the vendors in the lobby were selling new Rhodes family shirts with a mis-spelling of his brother's name on the front (Pic on wall).

* WWE were unable to air the show for the military on the US forces network, due to the government shut down in the USA. They usually make PPV's available for free to troops.

* Some fans demanded refunds because of the finish of the show, and the word ''Bullsh*t'' was chanted as the show went off the air.

* Cody Rhodes and Goldust have been re-added to the active WWE roster on .com.

TNA:

TNA are giving government employees free tickets to their shows, due to the shut down, tickets are available to federal and military staff starting on October 10.

Kurt Angle will be sent to OVW to prepare for his return, TNA have already started a story for him.

Raw tease:

* What will the fallout from the controversial ending at Battleground be?

* What will The Authority have in store for the Rhodes family?

* Who will challenge Alberto Del Rio next?

* Will Ryback be looking for revenge?

* What happens next with Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton and the WWE Title?

Vince McMahon is expected to appear and Wade Barrett will debut his new gimmick.

R- Truth:

Is going to be turned heel soon, WWE were very happy with his heel run a couple of years ago, which was truncated after a drugs ban, a turn will likely give him a push up the card.

Vickie leaving WWE?:

Vickie Guerrero is going back to school, She passed entry level exams and will begin a medical administration degree. Is this the start of a step away from WWE?.

Either way, Good luck Vickie...

RVD:

Rob Van Dam will work an extra week, including an NXT match vs Aiden English this week before he goes off TV, and writes his biography. WWE are already acknowledging the ex-ECW man is weighing up his options, and may take some time off.

Austin Aries talks never making it to WWE:

"I don't worry about that. They've had opportunities to sign me, and for whatever reason or measuring stick they were using, they didn't see fit to give me an opportunity. I don't know all the ins and outs of those decisions, and I don't really dwell on it."

QUESTION OF THE DAY...

What did you think of BattleGround???

4/10 for me... Good start, then got bogged down until the Rhodes vs Shield match, screwy finishes in the last two diminished the overall event IMO.

Today's News

Tony Dawson:

Recently released WWE announcer Tony Dawson has landed a new job working for CBS sports.

To turn or not to turn:

AJ Lee's pipebomb promo on September 16's Raw was meant to turn the cast of ''Total Diva's'' face, however someone forgot to tell The Bella's and Eva Marie, they continued to play the heel on TV and social media for another couple of weeks, but, it was made clear to them that they were face before this weeks Raw, and they have now dropped the mean girl attitudes.

New Diva's:

Shaul Guerrero returned to NXT this weekend, and Leah Van Damme and Devin Taylor also debuted at a live show in Florida.

Great Khali:

WWE refused Great Khali permission to make a movie recently, saying his contract only allows him to work on WWE movie projects (Which is not true, he made a movie called Get Smart in 2008). Sylvester Stallone, one of the co-stars had specifically singled Khali out for a role in the flick, but was told that...

"The federation's contract doesn't allow Khali to sign up for any movies''

However sources close to Khali added...

''At least not as of now."

Leaving WWE???

Jim Ross remembers Brian Pillman:

"My friend Brian Pillman died on this day in 1997 at the age of 35. I think of Brian every day in some fashion. Brian was obsessed with pro wrestling, amazingly unpredictable, and a classic, athletic overachiever. Brian could be described as 'brilliantly crazy' and an 'athletic, wild man' and one wouldn't get an argument from too many folks that knew Brian well. I helped him get his break in WCW bringing him in from Calgary and also hired him to come to WWE. The story of Brian planning on chaining himself to the goalpost at a Super Bowl is true. The Cincinnati native felt it would garner him global publicity and certify him as a legit, crazy man. I still remember to this minute where I was standing in the arena in St. Louis when I got the news of his untimely passing. A heartbreaking day."

He also predicted Hulk Hogan will be back within WWE next year, and will have a part to play in the Hall Of Fame inductions of The Ultimate Warrior and Macho Man Randy Savage in 2014.

BattleGround SPOILERS!!!:

Daniel Bryan vs Randy Orton for the vacant WWE title will main event tonight's brand new WWE PPV. Expect interference from the Big Show, although who he will side with is unclear. Will he continue to side with the McMahon's and help Orton win the championship?, or will he pull a swerve and help Daniel Bryan get the win?.

Either way Daniel Bryan vs Randy Orton will continue for one more PPV match before Orton moves on to face Show for the remainder of 2013.

Santino Marella and Great Khali vs The Real Americans has been added to the card.

Don't forget, as usual I will be hosting a live fan chat over on our other page during the show, so come on over and join in.

Shaggy's Wrestling Page

Hogan / TNA split:

It seems Hulk Hogan has decided not to return to TNA...

"One door closes, another one opens, and I'm ready for my next challenge. Life is good. HH."

Tara knocks TNA:

She announced her wrestling career is not over, but...

"TNA is out of the question. It wasn't a good fit for me. I had a great run there, but it was very different from WWE. It made me appreciate WWE a lot."

The original Stone Cold:

Glacier says he was going to been called Stone Cold in WCW, but didn't like the name...

"So we started off with like 150 names and we kept whittling them down and whittling them down and so we got down to the last ten or so names. I'll never forget it, Andre, the special effects guy came up to me with a piece of paper with ten names on it. One of those was Glacier but one of the other names, and again if you go back and check this, it was January 96, one of the other names was Stone Cold *laughs* Now that name wasn't a good fit for me, it didn't resonate with me. Now Austin at that time ended up taking that name. And looking back I think we can all agree that the right guy got that name."

QUESTION OF THE DAY...

BattleGround match predictions please, card in comments...

Macho Man to HOF in 2014?:

Jim Ross thinks so, replying to a fan on twitter, who asked...

''When we will witness macho man to be inducted in @WWE hof?''

He replied...

''My guess is WM30''

He also thinks Sting will be inducted into the Hall Of Fame, but says he does not think the former WCW star will ever wrestle for WWE.

Daniel Bryan talks 'Making it':

''Being in these big stories in WWE and main eventing pay-per-views, I've main evented every show I've been on the last two months, it's pretty surreal, and to do it in front of large crowds on such big shows, it's awesome. Some things happen overnight, but my rise to the top has not. It's been a very slow, gradual buildup. So the surprises to me is where this journey has kind of ended up, not like this rush of, 'OK, yesterday I was wrestling in an armory and today I'm main eventing [a WWE pay-per-view].' It's been a process to get here, but that's the fun for me."

British great retires:

Ricky Knight, husband of Sweet Saraya and father of NXT diva Paige had his retirement bout last night.

He is suing for loss of earnings and compensation for his injuries, no word from Cena on this as yet.

Wyatt family:

Fans of our sister page may remember that yesterday I predicted Kane would return as a member of the Wyatt family, it seems I was right, the leader of the group, Bray Wyatt tweeted today...

"Kane didnt fall, he was chosen. Rebirth"

Performance Center:

Christian and Perry Saturn have spent the past week working at the PC, with the NXT talent.

Drew McIntyre:

Drew McIntyre is teasing that he will return soon as the chosen one, reprising his previous character. The 3MB member is already acknowledging the split, tweeting ''Where's Drew?'' and referring to the chosen one name on his twitter for the past couple of days.

R-Truth reflects on his WWE career:

Shaggy's Wrestling Page blogs:

QUESTION OF THE DAY...

Today's News

McMahon's vs Rhodes:

WWE are working on an appearance for Vince McMahon as early as this upcoming Monday.

More on the heat between Dusty Rhodes and Stephanie McMahon (See yesterday). Steph has been unhappy with Rhodes for a couple of weeks, she was to humble Rhodes on Raw a couple of weeks ago, but Dusty kept talking over her, spoiling the planned angle, and the Face Palm gesture Rhodes did to her on Raw, compounded her anger with the Hall Of Famer.

Big E. Langston:

Speculation about Langston's slump has been blamed on John Cena. Cena is a very vocal supporter of Langston, and since he has gone away on injury leave, Langston has been split from AJ with no story line reason, and has been floundering in the mid card. WWE are said to be working on a face turn and big story line, but has, as of this writing shown no signs of beginning that angle for him.

Funk's:

The Hall Of Famer's Dory and Terry Funk are on their way to Japan, Dory Has announced.

Rey Mysterio:

Rey Mysterio plans a WWE return in late October, and says he is determined to prove he is as good as he was at the height of his WWE career in 2007/8.

Randy Orton:

Randy Orton is heavily featured at the top of the WWE creative plans right through until, and including WrestleMania 30.

The Undertaker:

WWE have confirmed that The Undertaker was going to compete with Kane vs The Shield at SummerSlam, but The Shield injured him when they put him through a table and he could not get fit in time. However, Taker fans, good news, he met with Triple H last week, and Hunter presented him with some creative ideas for him to come back, possibly as early as Survivor Series, maybe the Royal Rumble, and dependent on his physical health, he was said to be open to the idea of a return earlier than has become usual in recent years.

He may not be alone, his Wife Michelle McCool is also interesting WWE after impressing officials at a masterclass she gave to the NXT stars recently.

Stacy Keibler:

Stacy wants to come back to WWE. However she is setting strict proviso's. She wants a one night return and wants paying $1,000,000 for the appearance. Her people have said she grew accustomed to the opulent lifestyle she enjoyed whilst dating George Clooney and wants to maintain that standard of life, that, she believes will cost Her $50,000 a month, hence this hefty request. She also wants to make some financial investments to help her create new revenue streams.

The chances are slight however, WWE would probably only pay that for a Mania match and Stacy was better known as a valet than a ring star. Also the last time Stacy wanted to come back in 2009 (She had asked to present an episode of Raw) WWE did not even pay her the respect to respond to her request, never mind take her up on it.

Rumours were circulating earlier this Summer that WWE wanted her back, but that was flatly denied by WWE, and the rumours were from a newspaper not noted for it's honesty, so the validity of those rumours is questionable.

WWE Title (SPOILERS!!!):

The Orton vs Bryan feud will continue for at least two more PPV matches before Randy Orton moves on to a new feud with Big Show over the Title.

Which Luger do you want?:

Mattel want to make a new action figure of Lex Luger, and are polling fans on which era of his career should be recognized, current standings...

* WWE Narcissist Lex Luger (99 votes)

* WWE Allied Powers Lex Luger (141 votes)

* WCW NWO Wolfpack Lex Luger (46 votes)

BattleGround (SPOILERS!!!):

Damien Sandow may be cashing in his briefcase this Sunday. WWE were considering putting the WWE title on RVD but his refusal to commit to a new contract has changed those plans and a new idea for the World Title leaked online today would see RVD take the title from Alberto Del Rio this Sunday, Ricardo Rodriguez turn on RVD to return to ADR's side and Sandow take his chance to cash in and claim the title.

Some within WWE are said to be dead against this angle for two reasons...

#1 They did this as recently as SumerSlam with the WWE title.

#2 They want to keep Del Rio in the top stories, to maintain their popularity with Latin audiences.

Fandango has tweeted that the show will feature a dancing competition, he promises to win.

Total Diva's:

WWE are in talks with E!, and very confident that a second series of their ''Reality'' show will be commissioned and will air shortly after WrestleMania 30, the current series will return from a mid season break on November 17.

New signing:

WWE have signed Colorado native Dylan Mile to a developmental deal today. He got the job because he performed a 37 inch vertical leap, despite being 6'3 and 285.

New look for Tough Enough winner:

(Photo) This is Andy Leavine who won the most recent series of the show, before joining NXT as Kevin Hackman. He was released shortly after.

He now competes on the body building circuit.

Goldust:

WWE hope to keep Goldust around until WrestleMania and are open to offering him the brother vs brother match he has wanted for over 2 years as a carrot.

Ryback talks career goals:

"I'd love to take on Bill Goldberg. I think it's a match that's going to make me a lot of money. It's going to make him a lot of money. It's a match the WWE Universe want to see. I said recently that if people keep chanting his name at me, they're going to make me a ton of money. WWE's going to want to bring in Bill Goldberg to face Ryback. (But) one of my main goals is ending The Undertaker's WrestleMania streak. It's something everyone has their opinion on. Some people say it's something that should never end. I say why not? I say I'm good enough to end it, and I'm very confident in myself. I know there are a lot of people that will say otherwise, but I could care less what they say. I'm the one who wakes up every day and knows how hard I've worked for this. It's something, if I don't believe I can do it, nobody else is going to believe it. I talked to him (The Undertaker) last year at WrestleMania. He made a comment to me. We were down by the ring somewhere and he said 'I hear you're doing some interviews and saying you want The Undertaker.' I said 'You're damn right I do.' That's all it was. Whether it happens this year or the year after, I don't know. Whatever the WWE asks of me, I will do because they are my employer. I give them everything I have because I have a love and passion for this and there is no ego involved. The Undertaker is definitely another one for WrestleMania. There is no bigger for me. The streak has become its own attraction. If that's a possibility, I'm there."

Ken Shamrock shoots on Triple H:

Ken Shamrock says Triple H's ego is the reason he has not returned to WWE, and says Hunter wants to be Vince McMahon...

"I promise you that Triple H wants to be Vince McMahon, he wants that charisma, he wants that control, and he wants that respect but the only way you going to get the respect by putting yourself a side and pushing other people. Now the only way anyone is going to get pushed is if Triple H has something to do with them, period. That right there is a problem. You can't start an organization when you're actually going to be running it and putting yourself in the limelight. Vince McMahon did not do that. Vince McMahon put over (Hulk) Hogan, McMahon put over Andre the Giant, and he was nowhere to be seen. Right now, you got a guy that's pretty questionable on why he is there and then he makes it even more of a problem by putting himself in the limelight and everybody is going: "See, I told you so.'"

Eric Bischoff:

Has called reports of his TNA contract expiring in 2014 ''Bullsh*t'' on his Twitter.

Goldberg:

WWE have teased a return for Goldberg in an ad for the new Goldberg DVD...

QUESTION OF THE DAY...

Is Rey as good as he was in 2007?, can he get back to that level or is his ring career coming to an end???

Today's News

Stevie Richards talks life after being a WWE / TNA star:

"I have no goals in wrestling. My goal is to continue to be booked, continue to be healthy, and continue to get paid to feed my cats. I have no delusions of grandeur that WWE or TNA is going to call and nor do I think at this point I would even be interested, considering the travel time versus the amount of money I'd make. Waiting for a call (from WWE or TNA) is one of the most poisonous things you can do to yourself because you're not in control of the situation."

WrestleMania 30 main event:

Randy Orton vs CM Punk is currently the lead creative story planned for WrestleMania 30, according to the Wrestling Observer, the Creative writers have pitched the story line path to top level officials already.

Goldust signs for WWE:

Goldust has signed a short term (Usually 90 days, but that is not confirmed) contract with WWE to work the current stories vs The McMahon's.

Also on this feud, WWE are planning on bringing Vince McMahon's return to TV forward, he was due to return in November, but viewing figures are dropping and it is felt he can recover the lost fans.

Cody Rhodes is currently based at the performance center working with Shawn Spears to be ready for this Sunday's match vs The Shield.

Stephanie McMahon has teased a possible appearance from her Brother Shane at some point, when asked how she would feel about a Shane comeback to have a part to play in the major stories planned for her family, she tweeted ''Depends''.

Also legit heat has formed between Dusty and Stephanie, and may be why he was taken out of the Battle Ground match, Dusty went off script during His promo on Raw and offended Stephanie by doing a ''Face Palm'' gesture, this was not planned and Stephanie was not impressed with the lack of respect from the Hall Of Famer.

Rob Van Dam (SPOILERS!!!):

Rob Van Dam will be written off TV next week, with an angle planned that will see Ricardo Rodriguez turn on the former ECW star and return to the side of Alberto Del Rio.

Also on RVD, it has emerged that he was given a planned on screen punishment that was set to be dished out to Dolph Ziggler. On September 23 he was the victim of a mass beatdown because he refused to commit to a new contract.

Dolph is in the dog house because of some outspoken interviews he has been giving recently.

Saturday Morning Slam:

Jeff Jarrett:

Jeff Jarrett is back working as an agent with TNA full time, and is already taking responsibilities for TV matches.

MMA vs TNA:

Bellator MMA have pulled Rampage Jackson and Tito Ortiz from their booked appearances at Bound For Glory.

Is this the end of TNA's MMA experiment?.

Kurt Angle:

Kurt Angle will not wrestle at Bound For Glory, but will still attend to be inducted into the TNA Hall Of Fame.

TNA's future:

2014 will be a make or break year for TNA. The company is now expected to survive because Spike do not want to lose it, but The Carter Family are almost certainly going to sell to try to recover something from their outlay on the promotion, and would rather sell than shut it down completely.

Questions are being asked in the wake of this news...

* Who will own it?

* If the current or new owners will give it a facelift?

* Who will remain on the roster?

* Where TV shows will be taped?

* If they will continue to do live events.?

JBL:

JBL says he is going to start a 13 week diet and needs to lose 35 lbs before his next mountain climb challenge.

WWE say Mark Henry's hamstring problems are much worse than previously thought and that he will face further tests at the end of October to determine the severity of the damage.

Tag team to split and be turned:

Antonio Cesaro is going to be turned face, meaning the end of the Real Americans team he is involved in with Jack Swagger. WWE are extremely happy with the fan reaction to his big swing move, and want to use the momentum to give him a push.

WWE sign Daughter of past star:

Leah Van Damme, is the daughter of Paul Van Dale, and has started at the performance center already.

Luke Gallows:

Luke Gallows has signed for Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan.

Juventud Guerrera:

Juvi is being given another chance at AAA, He has a history of discipline problems, but AAA know they can make money from him and are willing to take another chance.

Maria Kanellis:

Maria has responded to being called a failure for not rejoining WWE...

"I'm now happy to be moving forward with my life but I feel as if WWE fans aren't ready for me to do so. They want to hear more about the Bella twins debacle. They want me to insult the girls that are on Total Divas. But, the truth is I have a lot more on my plate that what those chicks are up to or the happenings at WWE. Also, I don't stay angry for that long. It's bad karma and there are too many beautiful, positive people in my life to worry about the people that hurt me''.

Trish Stratus:

Trish has thanked fans for their support after the birth of her first child Maximus...

"Yesterday was an amazing first day at home w/ our new little guy. I can't even begin to describe how much love my heart is filled w/ for Max. And thank u to everyone for all the wishes for us, it's been overwhelming to see the love from you guys. So much love for Max!#babystratus."

Today's News

Bound For Glory:

TNA have announced a 4 team Gauntlet match will be featured on their first ever PPV pre show kick off event, the participants will be Bad Influence, Joseph Park & Eric Young, Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez and The BroMans.

Hardcore Holly defends anti WWE rant:

Hardcore Holly was not impressed by his former employers allowing Ted DiBiase Jr. to leave last month, he has today defended His strong comments at the time, and took a shot at some of the promotions current top stars to make his point...

"When you have a talent like this [Dibiase], you are so missing the boat on this guy because I worked this guy. They don't get no better than Ted DiBiase Jr. I'm sorry, it just doesn't happen. It's a shame, it really is. I just got tired of seeing WWE people, executives and stuff, saying 'hey, if you want to make it in WWE you have to show us you want it. You have to work hard. You have to not cause any problems within the company. You have to be able to cut good promos. You have to be able to work.' Let me tell you something. Ted DiBiase has every single tool it takes to be number one. That, to me, and I talk about it in my book, because why is he not on TV right now?. Let me tell you something, when they bring Sheamus back - because their excuse is they can't just throw him out there - but then when they bring Sheamus back, you watch and see if they don't put him in something when he comes back. It's like the other guys that get hurt, like Rey Mysterio. How many times does he get hurt a year? About 15 times a year and then he comes back and they throw him right out there and put him in a storyline. You can't sit there and tell me they don't have anything for this guy or they can't find anything for him."

Tyson Kidd:

Mickie James criticises WWE 'Bullying':

In reference to the Piggy James angle...

''Looking back on it now, I think it shed some light on a big issue in our school system and on the internet now, with technology at your fingertips. It's so easy for bullies to do it now, sitting behind a keyboard because there's no face-to-face interaction. And that storyline, I think, was an attempt to address bullying and tell a story with it. Michelle and Layla had already been playing the role of the "mean girls," but I don't know where exactly that storyline came from. And honestly, I feel like it was one of the most difficult storylines to take, as I found it difficult to take my personal feelings and emotions out of it. But I can see how it may have resonated, because at some point most of us have been bullied or picked on, so most of us can relate to it in some aspect. Because you're going to have sympathy for the character and understand where she's coming from, impacted from the perils of bullying.''

John Cena:

John Cena has added some US dates to his special appearances, all post Christmas.

Hulk Hogan:

Hulk Hogan has officially left TNA, his contract expired at midnight last night, talks are ongoing but money may be an issue.

Also AJ Styles and TNA are no closer to agreeing a new deal, despite WWE declaring no interest in the 36 year old.

Hall Of Fame 2014:

Two names are vying for the headline inductee spot at next years HOF ceremony, The Ultimate Warrior and DX, as a group (Shawn Michaels, Triple H, New Age Outlaws, X-Pac and Chyna).

DX were penciled in to headline this year because WWE did not think Bruno Sammartino would agree to join the HOF, however when he did DX were dropped.

Royal Rumble:

Two names are being discussed as possible winners of the Royal Rumble, Daniel Bryan and Brock Lesnar.

Brock was scheduled to return to TV later this month in time for Survivor Series, but WWE may be holding back until the Rumble now, whilst Daniel Bryan may be given the win to reinvigorate his top level status.

However, these rumours Have only started since it was reported that WWE had already decided who was to win next years event, and that CM Punk would be lifted back into the top title stories soon, so this may be to deflect attention from the Punk to win stories IMO.

Mark Jindrak on Evolution:

Mark Jindrak has shared his thoughts on why he was dropped from the original line up of the WWE faction...

"I wasn't ready for Evolution at that time in my career," Jindrak admitted on his Twitter. "I was immature and Batista fit better. It was mine to lose and I dropped the ball. But since then I've matured and understood why I missed that chance and it's helped me in my career which ended up in CMLL in Mexico''.

Austin Aries hints at TNA tensions:

In reference to the Christy Hemme incident, where he thrust his crotch into her face because she botched a mic call...

"That's a difficult situation. I'm not going to say a whole lot about it but it was an unfortunate event. I'll just say I was disappointed in the way things were handled in multiple levels and I think I will leave it at that for now."

Cody Rhodes:

Despite being fired, WWE have released a new Cody Rhodes T-shirt today.

Brie Bella on future plans:

And they do not include WWE...

"I want to raise my babies, I want to be home with them every day. And I'm excited for when that chapter in my life happens."

QUESTION OF THE DAY...

WWE have today named Edge & Christian the greatest tag team in the promotions 50 year history... were they?, if not, who was better???

Today's News

BattleGround:

WWE.Com have exclusively announced that AJ Lee will defend her Diva's Title vs Brie Bella at BattleGround, Eva Marie will be in Brie's corner.

This is the official theme song...

Cody Rhodes:

Pro Wrestling Syndicate have announced that Cody Rhodes has agreed to sign an exclusive contract with them once his 90 day WWE no compete clause expires.

This is almost certainly kayfabe, WWE have probably worked out a deal with PWS to further their stories, and have offered Cody's services to them for a time as a way to legitimize his firing from the promotion.

WWE remember Cousin Luke:

WWE have released a warm tribute to Gene Petit, who died over the weekend.

Buddy Murphy:

Update on the controversial promo (See yesterday). WWE demanded that the video of the promo referencing Chris Benoit be removed from YouTube within hours of the story of the content of said promo hitting the wrestling news wires.

No word on any punishment for Matt Silva, who portrays the role.

It has since been re-uploaded on a different account and I have updated yesterday's post with the new link.

Raw:

All the WWE stars wore pink last night to support a breast cancer charity.

Los Matadores debuted under their new names Fernando and Diego (Formerly Primo and Epico) they also had their mascot El Torito, making a return to WWE, although this time not the same man that portrayed the role at the 1998 Royal Rumble, in a 6 man tag match refereed by Sunny.

WWE have added their new profiles...

Diego.

Fernando.

El Torito.

Interestingly though, they have not removed their old profiles.

New gimmick for Wade:

WWE are working on repackaging English grappler Wade Barrett, he has been off TV for over a month and upon his return will be pushed into the top title stories. If he were to win the WWE or World Championship, he would be the first Brit to do so.

Mickie James on TNA career:

Rather vague response, that doesn't really answer the question of her future...

"I mean I really don't know. I'm not at liberty to say. I'm sure people can figure it out. "

Hall Of Famer delivers:

Trish Stratus has given birth to a baby boy named Maximus who weighed 8 lbs and 3 ounces.

Congratulations...

Mark Henry:

Mark Henry's WWE return has been delayed due to the death of a relative.

New Jack offends:

New Jack working as a manager said he was going to beat every fan in the room to avenge the death of Trayvon Martin, who was shot and killed in Florida last year, the promo went down extremely badly, causing many complaints during and after the show, which was in South Florida.

Blu Ray cancelled:

The 3rd Blu Ray release dropped this week is Survivor Series 2013.

Backstage WWE news:

Stephanie McMahon being referred to as the owner of WWE is the start of a future story between herself, her husband and her father (Mania 30).

Kassius Ohno is finally returning to TV.

Rey Mysterio is starting his ring work training today before he returns to TV.

McMahon's vs Rhodes:

The original plans to have a 6 man tag with Dusty Rhodes and his sons vs The Shield have been changed, with Dusty dropped due to his age, although Vince McMahon is said to have been all for Dusty getting in the ring. WWE are still nervous after what happened with Jerry Lawler last year.

Dusty will instead be the corner man for his boys.

WWE deal:

WWE have paired with Pizza company Tortino's, you can win a copy of 2K14 whenever you buy a pizza, and also WWE live tickets.

The Undertaker:

WWE have revealed the full story behind the cryptic tweets of last week, they have hired comic book writer Todd McFarlane to create a series of statues of WWE legends, Taker will be the first.

850 will be made, and individually numbered and will be priced at $295. They go on sale on December 6.

Here it is.

QUESTION OF THE DAY...

Does Wade Barrett need a new character to become a top level star???
