Major title change:

Charlotte Flair beat Asuka to win the Blue Women's gold last night. This has thrown all sorts of connotations into the WrestleMania main event. Is it now a title for title?, a unification match?, will Asuka be added to the bout for her rematch, or be left off the card altogether? None of these questions yet have an answer, but it seems to have been a last minute swerve, as the script for the show had a four way match to determine Asuka's challenger for Mania as one of the headline bouts of the broadcast. That was pulled in favour of the title change.

Celeb under investigation:

Finn Balor may not get his wish to have Conor McGregor in his corner at Mania because the Irishman has been accused of a serious sexual assault in Ireland over the Christmas period. A young woman made an allegation of rape at a sexual offense centre, and specialists there deemed her story credible. This coming out has caused controversy, as the law in Ireland protect those accused of rape from having their names publicised before a conviction is secured. The American paper, New York Times, ignored that embargo after picking up on a UK story from earlier this year in the Independent (Who did not name him). TMZ have since gone further by listing more details of the incident. They say the 20 something year old victim and her friends went back to a Dublin hotel, where McGregor had rented out the penthouse suite, during which time she claims the MMA great forced himself upon her against her wishes. Police have secured evidence from the room and CCTV footage of the night in question. Conor's team say this had no impact on his recent decision to quit UFC, and deny he was forced out by the company over it.

Poffo reveals he took drugs in WWF:

Lanny Poffo says he fell into taking steroids during his biggest angle on WWE TV in the 80's...

"I didn't smoke, drink or do drugs, but in 1989 I became 'The Genius,' and I had a chance to be main event with Hulk Hogan for four months. I defeated him on NBC. I mean, I went from the outhouse to the penthouse for four months and then eventually back to the outhouse again. I am ashamed to tell you that I took steroids for that period of time. I got acne vulgaris and testicular atrophy. The acne cleared up and you'll have to take my word on the other. But I only told people that because it's the truth and because it was legal then, and I'm recommending that anybody reading this abstain from steroids. Because the good stuff about steroids is very temporary and the bad stuff is permanent. I think I got away with it because I didn't do it much. Nobody held a gun to my head, not Vince McMahon or anybody. But I was competing for a top spot, and I was finally getting an opportunity, and I was trying to earn it. So it was out of desperation and about being tired of being a jabron. So I finally got to drink from the silver chalice of success, even though if I go to a shopping mall right now, you won't find one person that remembers me. You know what I mean? Fame, if you win it, comes and goes in a minute."

Chris Jericho recalls Mania 19:

Chris Jericho says Shawn Michaels is the greatest wrestler evr, as he recalled wrestling him at Mania 19 in 2003. He also revealed that he was not originally booked to face HBK, and who his original opponent was going to be...

"Shawn Michaels is better than 75% of the roster...in my opinion, the best ever. It's not Flair, it's not Bret, it's Shawn Michaels for me, what I like. So even though he was coming back, he was great. And he has one match with Triple H, but this was his first WrestleMania back and it might have been the first program since the Triple H program, and it was never supposed to be. It was just a one-shot thing where I was doing a Highlight Reel and I was calling Michaels old, and that sort of thing. I was just demeaning Shawn on the Highlight Reel, he superkicked me in the face and that was supposed to be the end of it. We walked to the back and I remember Vince sitting there, smiling, and just looking at Shawn, and Shawn goes, 'It's money.' And Vince goes, 'You're damn right it's money!' And that was where that whole angle started - it was supposed to me and Edge that year, originally. This was the exact opposite of WrestleMania X8: it was a great story, a great buildup, it was not the main event on last but it stole the show at WrestleMania, it was a main event. And it was one of the best matches in WrestleMania history. Like I said, there's how many WrestleManias now? 35? 34? So there's been 35 show-stealers in WrestleMania history and our match is one of them, and I'll take that every time."

UFC star threatens to invade Mania:

"We have dirt sheet writers talking about my brother shouldn't be in the Hall of Fame. People who haven't done anything for this business talking about who should or shouldn't get into the Hall of Fame. In the wake of the incident Arn Aderson also left WWE to stick with his partner, they had an agreement in place to return to WCW anyway, but WCW refused to bring them back in after Tully's high profile drug fail...

"Flair calls me and says WCW found out about the drug test and reneged on the deal. So WCW didn't hire me back trying to save money and probably the biggest regret I had in my life. I didn't mind paying the consequences for my own actions, but Arn got penalized because of my actions and it cost him and his family money. New Day to quit:

Both Big E. and Xavier Woods have threatened to quit WWE over the treatment of Kofi Kingston on SD, after their team-mate failed, again, to get a WWE title match. They are also calling on Kofi to walk with them.

This is likely kayfabe, but WWE may have been inspired by the real backstage situations with the Club and Uso's, with this potential new angle.

It has been presumed by some that Big E. suggested racism during a post on the matter...

"We got some time to contemplate what happened Tuesday night and obviously Kofi's performance, and the aftermath and our reaction to all of that, and a little bit of time to reflect, too, on our careers and why we do this. You think of this business, to some degree, of being meritocracy, that if you work hard, you show up early, you stay late, you do all the right things, you jump through all the right hoops, you're respectful, you don't break the law, that you get good at your craft, that you hone all that, that you find a place with fans, you separate yourself and find a niche, you separate yourself from a character perspective, from an in-ring perspective, you do everything, you check all the boxes, you show up in shape, you do everything that's asked of you in this business, that if you do all those things you have a good chance of making it to the top. But now we understand the game, we see where the game is, that people like us will only get so far. You can climb the mountain, they'll let you climb the mountain, but as far as getting to the peak and staying at the peak, it's not a thing. That people like us, historically and moving forward, clearly, can only get so far. We've done a lot of cool things here, we've been able to do a lot of things that we never could've imagined we could do, but clearly we are never meant to be more than this. And for people like us, that's not enough and it will never be enough. So, we've got to sit back and think whether we continue to be gone for 250 days plus a year, is worth it, of missing the family time, of doing this to our bodies, leaving a piece of yourself in the ring that you can never get back, all the things that we give, is it worth it when we can only get this far? So, we've got a lot of thinking to do. Obviously proud of Kofi, proud of us as a trio, proud of what we've done, but if this is all we will ever be, I don't know if it's worth it."
