CM Punk:


WWE have broken their silence on CM Punk. Reports were flying last night that WWE had granted the former champion an early contract release last Friday, they responded by contacting some news sites to ''Officially'' confirm that CM Punk was not released and is still employed by the promotion. They did not refer to his current absence.


Toon Army:


Vince McMahon is once again being linked with the Premier League Football Club Newcastle United. The rumours of McMahon wanting to buy the club have been ongoing for several years, and nothing has come of it as yet. This may well come to nothing too, both sides have denied the reports.


Elimination Chamber:


New matches have been announced for this Sunday's PPV...

* The New Age Outlaws vs The Uso's (Tag Team Championship)...

* Darren Young vs Titus O'Neill...

* The Rhodes Brothers vs RybAxel (Kick Off show)...


Chris Jericho:


WWE Alum Chris Jericho wants fans to write the foreword for his new book.

He wants fans to write 1,000 words on how being a fan of his has influenced them, favourite matches, memories, etc... and E-Mail it to jerichoforewords@gmail.com.

He is also going to keep the winning entry(ies) secret, not revealing which make it into the book until it hits shelves later this year.

Raw:


Cesaro set a new record of 30 revolutions with his giant swing on Dean Ambrose after the show went off the air.

The roster gave Cesaro a standing ovation in the locker room after his performance vs John Cena.


WWE Network:


WWE have cut the amount of footage to be available on the Network's launch date, from 1500 hours, down to 1000 hours.

They have also released another promo...



TNA:


TNA will move to soundstage 20 for the next batch of TV taping's in Orlando, but have still not been able to secure a long term home for their show.


Batista:


The first trailer for Batista's movie Guardians Of The Galaxy, will be on the Jimmy Kimmel show, a still has been released.


Pete Gas on CM Punk:


"I completely agree with this guy (Punk). As much as I love the McMahon family, and listen I understand why they do it. WrestleMania is their Super Bowl, they try to get as many buys as they can and i get all that. You want to have the big names. His comments about him breaking his ass, Daniel Bryan breaking his ass. These guys are there every single night getting it done. I understand where he's coming from. He always wanted to be the main eventer at WrestleMania. But so does every other f--king guy in that locker room. I understand his point where he says I'm the one here and then they bring in The Rock for a couple of months and then he goes back to make another movie. I get all that. It's a controversial topic and I can understand both sides of it."

JoJo:

John Cena:


Here are some highlights from Cena's chat with Stone Cold Steve Austin...

* Cena says he feels great, turns 37 in April and still feels he can keep up with anyone who comes through the doors to wrestle for WWE.

* Cena said he wishes there was more motivational reinforcement from WWE officials. He admitted that WWE officials create a "walking on eggshells environment."

* Cena said WWE has a locker room full of very talented guys but also a locker room full of Superstars who are fearful for their jobs. Cena said some of them are not willing to take the next step.

* Cena feels WWE is on the cusp of getting a real all-star roster for the first time in a long time.

* Cena said WWE is moving towards more action and less talk.

* Cena talked about working with Cesaro at the Performance Center for a Muscle & Fitness shoot. Cena said he likes to get to know talents on a personal basis when WWE is ready to push them to the main event.

Kurt Angle:


Angle had his knee surgery last week and is recovering at home.


TV talks collpase:


WWE and NBC could not agree on a new deal for their shows and are now offering the product to other distributors, although have not closed the door on NBC, but they will now have to bid and compete with others. The shows will continue on NBC until the end of September.

The promotion have released this statement...

While we were unable to reach an agreement with NBCU during this period, we have certainly appreciated our long and productive partnership. AJ Lee:


As well as talk of CM Punk being released, rumours that AJ Lee had followed Punk's lead and quit the company this weekend have been shot down, she had the weekend off, and went to visit Punk in Chicago, nothing more.
