Today's photo is this years LockDown poster.
Paul Orndorff:
WWE may be considering giving Paul Orndorff a second Hall Of Fame induction, as a member of the main event match at WresteMania 1, but he is not a fan of their product...
"I don't watch it, I haven't watched it in over 20 years. You know why? Because it's the only show in town, that's why I don't watch it anymore. That's why no one watches it anymore, because of the people running it and it's got no talent like it used to. [There's] no more places for them to go, nowhere for them to learn."
Jesse Sorenson:
More on Jesse Sorenson's interview from yesterday...
* He revealed he had to take a job working tables at Hulk Hogan's beach shop, because of the poor pay from TNA, and says he wasn't the only one that had to take more than one job to get by.
* And that the wrestler that hurt him in the accident that almost ended his career, has still never called him to discuss or apologize for what happened. He says he no longer holds any animosity toward Zema Ion, and would like to face him again, but not for TNA.
Kenta plays down WWE chances:
"I am sorry for having you all confused over the various information about my visit in the US. As a matter of fact, I am in the States and enjoying the WWE training. But as for now, it's not about getting a tryout or a contract. It is indeed true that I have always been yearning for a spot in WWE, and I've always wanted to give it a try sometime. After all, you only live once. "I should have given it a try." "I should have chosen another way." I've had those regrets when I was in my middle and high school, and even after I got in to this business. I just did not want to regret later about something I haven't tried, so I used my time off to participate in the WWE workout. The executives were at the workout, so perhaps I may have left a mark. The place is full of competition and hungry guys. It's not as simple as being good at Puroresu or having strength. There are so many guys with monster physique and guys who are way athletically superior to me. And even they don't get into the big league. That's how tough this place could be. I can easily imagine that surviving in this environment could be severe. And spending a few days in that environment became a really good experience for me. I'm sorry to have caused the confusion, but one thing I can say for sure is that "I'm glad I came". I would like to work even harder making use of this experience. And lastly, I would like to thank [NOAH] President [Akira] Taue for letting me take this chance."
Sin Cara:
Original Sin Cara, Luis Alvirde has signed for World Wrestling League in Puerto Rico.
Dean Ambrose talks creation of The Shield:
''It wasn't ever pitched to us. It was very out of nowhere. It was a secret kind of idea. I have an idea—I'll save that for another time—[of] what the original, original idea was. It's just been ever-evolving. One day, it was just like, 'All right, you three are going to wear black turtlenecks and run in and beat up Ryback,' and we're just like, 'Uh, okay.' At the time, you're like, 'I don't even care.' I [had been] in developmental for over a year at that point and was just ready to pull my eyes out, so [with] any tiny, little bit of opening they'll give me, I was like, 'Yup, let's do it.' I'll kick in that door if you crack it open, and I think we all felt that way. But doing Survivor Series and interfering in a WWE Championship match on one of the bigger pay-per-views that the company does, that's like, 'Holy crap.' If you know what the deal is or not, you can't ask for a better spotlight than [that].''
CM Punk:
WWE have removed the WrestleMania 30 poster featuring CM Punk from their website. However they are still selling Punk merch at live shows. The WWE Facebook was hacked yesterday, with lots of rants about CM Punk, and chants in his favour posted.
Another reason for his resignation has been offered, he is reported to have been very disappointed with his financial compensation for big events recently, and feels this may get worse when the Network launches.
The roster are said to be split on Punk, some are proud of his stand against the promotion, whilst others feel what he has done is childish, and unprofessional, due to not giving WWE time to write him out.
NXT Arrival:
Kevin Nash will reprise his Diesel character at NXT Arrival.
Dolph Ziggler drops pipe bomb:
Following his loss to Antonio Cesaro in an Elimination Chamber qualifier at SmackDown, Dolph Ziggler cut an impassioned promo backstage.
He later thanked the WWE App, for allowing him to cut the promo...
"Thanks @wwe app for letting me be ME... 1 day we'll do it on tv...
Darren Young:

Darren Young needed 8 stitches following the Prime Time Playaz split at SmackDown.
TNA star wants Zimmerman:

Curt Hawkins:
Curt Hawkins lost to a newly heel Titus O'Neill last night, it was his first match for WWE since September 30, where he lost on Main Event to RVD.
Zack Ryder:
Has dyed his hair brown, last time he did it without permission, and got in heat for it.
WWE Top 10:
Championship Droughts ending...
Jake The Snake Roberts:
WWE did not ask Jake The Snake Roberts to take a spot in the Rumble, they felt having him at oldschool Raw would mean more than a brief entry into the match.
City punished for poor reaction to Batista:
WWE are not planning to return to Dayton, Ohio for PPV any time soon, after the poor and negative reaction Batista got when appearing at a show in the city. WWE say it is not Batista's fault, but the fans poor behaviour.
WWE are also looking at moving their shows to the west coast of America during the winter months (December to February), due to the poor weather in recent times on the east coast.
Rhodes' to split:
Cody Rhodes vs Goldust is on the cards for Mania, the brothers are set to split at the Elimination Chamber. Goldust has signed an extension to stay with WWE through until SummerSlam, he will then move back into an agent's role with the promotion. The original plan was for a heel Dustin, but that is not confirmed to be the direction they are taking as yet.
Raw:
Despite their denials, WWE did rewrite Raw last week because of the fans at the Rumble, at least in part. They gave Daniel Bryan a long promo, to deal with the issues, this was not originally planned.
WWE are not the only ones angry at the performance of the fans, Randy Orton was livid, after returning to the back following his title defense vs John Cena.
Sting:
WWE may make Sting the General Manager of Raw when his deal is done. The promotion feel it would be too much of a rush to get him a match on the WrestleMania 30 card.
WrestleMania 30:
CM Punk's resignation is leading to a creative shuffling of the pack, with the top feuds being swapped and changed, new ideas being worked on include...
* Daniel Bryan vs Triple H, with the proviso that if Daniel Wins, he would get a shot at the WWE WHC at Extreme Rules. Daniel's currently planned opponent Sheamus would then be put into a match with Kane.
* A second option is Triple H vs John Cena, with Sheamus taking Cena's planned opponent Bray Wyatt as his rival, and Daniel Bryan being added to the main event, making it a 3 way dance.
* The final option is Triple H vs Sheamus, and again Daniel Bryan joining the main event for the Title.
WWE UK:
Sky have confirmed that 3, rather than the usual 6 WWE PPV will air for free on their channels this year, the rest will be on the Box Office channel for £14.95. Those events are...
* Elimination Chamber
* Payback
* Night Of Champions.
This is the last year British fans will get free WWE PPV. After the new 5 year deal comes into effect, starting next year, all WWE PPV will be on Box office at the charged price, and will continue as such for the duration of the new TV deal.
Chavo Guerrero interview:
On Kerwin White being racist...
"I came home from Japan one time and Vince McMahon goes well Chavo..Kerwin I should say..you are now a white guy. I wanted to go completely white, like wear a white sheet, I did…it wasn't racist because everyone knew I was Mexican, I'm still brown."
On The Rock...
"That guy is such a nice guy. I love that guy. Not just in the ring, but his acting, he's really made himself this blockbuster guy, so definitely him, for sure."
On John Cena...
"Say what you want about him and not like him. Believe me, I have and I will take some of that back because the guy is a really good guy. He is a cool dude and you can see why he's in the position he's in because he's a hard worker and he really gives to his fans."
That is a lot more conciliatory than he usually sounds on him.
WWE star addresses fan backlash:
A WWE star has written a letter to be published onto a number of wrestling sites, but has asked to remain anonymous...
"Internet is so funny. You all read the sites so you all should know the 'plans' for Mania. None of those plans have Bryan in a title match so the internet exploding at the end of the show is beyond laughable. Plus dont hate on Rey, he didn't book himself as #30. The way most of you were acting the company should have called an audible and put Brooklyn Brawler as #30 just to piss you off even more. over 50,000 mania tix sold and a network that will change your life for ever is about to launch, so just relax and enjoy the product the company gives you. By the way, didn't you all s--t on the wwe for the Sept - Nov ppvs last year and said you were done, but turned around to watch/buy the Rumble? Pittsburgh you were an awesome crowd and it was an honor to be in your building last night"
Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing the Brawler in the Rumble...
