TNA suspend Gutcheck after voting controversy:

It seems fans were able to vote as many times as they felt, rather than the one vote per IP address, which was one of the rules of the vote, leading to some of the wrestlers leading the vote to remove themselves from the competition, due to fairness, TNA have now suspended the vote, and released this statement...

''In January, we launched the Gut Check Challenge as an online competition to give many independent wrestling stars a chance to showcase their talents and potentially earn a spot on the IMPACT WRESTLING roster.

However, due to a number of issues with the voting - and in fairness to all the competitors - we have decided to suspend the Gut Check Challenge.

We will be re-launching the contest in the near future with a new voting system that will eliminate the voting issues. Stay tuned to our website for updates - and thank you for your continued support of TNA and IMPACT WRESTLING!''

Elimination Chamber card scrapped:

WWE completely rewrote the planned card for Elimination Chamber last weekend, including scrapping a Tag Title match.

IC Cup:

WWE are planning to bring the IC Cup back after all, and want to make Main Event the home of the IC Title, as Raw is for the WWE title, and SmackDown for the World Title.

Bruno played a canny move:

Bruno Sammartino made a financial request that he thought would never be accepted by WWE, or certainly not by Vince McMahon and told Triple H that if the deal did not happen this year, it would never happen, WWE were so determined to get him they accepted his terms, leaving Bruno surprised, but happy. He is said to be receiving what a top star would get for a WrestleMania feud.

He still has not spoken to Vince McMahon, but Triple H is working on getting the two men together for clear the air talks before the HOF ceremony in April.

Bret Hart will induct Bob Backlund

Jim Ross is now favourite to induct Mick Foley

WWE take strange / controversial decisions:

WWE are to keep their talent as busy as possible to stop their talent interacting with TNA stars, who are in the same area for the Mania weekend.

Also they are trying to decide whether to name WrestleMania Thirty, WrestleMania 30 or WrestleMania XXX. Some in WWE feel XXX has pornographic overtones.

WWE vs TNA:

WWE are booking arena's in advance to block TNA from using them, and are also invoking no compete clauses in their contracts with certain arena's to keep TNA down.

Bo Dallas:

Is the reason the IC Cup was postponed, and also took a Rumble spot that was meant for a Surprise guest, they wanted to give him a chance to shine.

SummerSlam main event:

WWE plan on The Rock vs Brock Lesnar for this years SummerSlam.
