Doink The Clown interview:

Matt Bourne, The original Doink has recalled the creation of one of WWE's most famous characters...

“I worked as Matt Borne on TV. I did whatever they asked me to do. On the third night, Vince called me into his office and he asked me about my history in the wrestling business and from that conversation, he came up with the evil clown thing. It took me a back at first. He thought I could do it given my background but only if I wanted to do it. He told me to go home and think about it and I called him the next week and he flew me back and they had drawings and all kinds of shit and they painted my face different ways. Two weeks later, I was on TV in the nosebleeds section being a clown.”

He said he used Jack Nicholson's portrayal of the Joker as a source for his characterisation, and said he ''Drank in all evil clowns''.

On WrestleMania 9 frustrations, he revealed he was booked to face Hulk Hogan, but he refused because he didn't like Buzz Sawyer, and he said Matt and Buzz looked alike. He was then given British Bulldog, who also refused the match, but never explained why, so he eventually got Crush.

He also revealed how Hulk Hogan got the black eye at Mania 9, he says Hulk had brought Miss Elizabeth to the show and was hiding her in his dressing room, because she was dating a friend of Hogan's, Savage found out and went to see the Hulkster, after the meeting, Hogan had a bruise he didn't have before.

He also revealed he doesn't like Hacksaw Jim Duggan.

Injury news:

Kaitlyn returned from her Kayfabe injury at the same event.

Drew McIntyre has undergone surgery, but did not specify for what or long he will be out.

WWE's woman troubles:

Shaul Guerrero is said to have left because she wants to pick up her studies, but has a contract waiting if and when she wants to come back.

They do not expect Kelly Kelly to return any time soon, and one official had a bit of a niggle at Beth Phoenix, confirming she was going next month, and adding rather spitefully that it was about time, and that she will only be playing nurse to Edge, who needs neck surgery.

She is expected to come back in the future.

Finally WWE expect more ladies to leave, the next may be Eve Torres, who is engaged to be married, and from comments she has been making to fellow workers, WWE expect her to quit when she does, because She (they believe) will not want to be on the road constantly at the start of her married life.

Sharmell Huffman:

Booker's wife is back in wrestling, she will be General Manager for his Reality Of Wrestling promotion.

John Cena:

WWE aren't happy, but John Cena is expected to miss Monday's Raw, they are up against NFL and wanted their top guys there to get the viewers, but Cena wants time to rest after his surgery.

New Page:

I have made a new spin off page from R.I.P Dead Wrestlers, to include people from other fields, starting with James Dean, to mark the anniversary of his death today (Link).
