The WWE cleared him to continue wrestling after inadequate rest time and downplayed his injury."

He was out of action for five months after a match against Rowan. Then returned, but only for one more match, as he was released from his developmental deal right after. On finding love with Edge...

"We knew each other, met through the WWE. But we didn't date when we were there."

On why she quit...

"I left wrestling to spend more time at home with family. I didn't get to see my parents and brother while I was working, just quick visits living out of a suitcase. It was time to go home."

On backstage feuds...

"You don't get along with everybody, but you have to be able to work with everybody. Respect is important, and if you don't have it you won't be on the professional level very long. The ring is not the place to take care of disrespect. It's supposed to be a safe haven where we protect each other. You can disagree with someone and still do business as a professional. I've had some differences of opinion with some, and there were some people I liked more than others."

Anytime you go through a change and you can continue to do what you love to do and do it on your own terms, and I've been able to pick and choose what I want to do and become a fan of wrestling again and realize I do what I do because I enjoy it, not necessarily for a paycheck, but get to earn a paycheck. With having the new network, with IMPACT and Destination America, it's an awesome opportunity and it reminds me of back in the day, no one knew too much about CNN when it first started and look at what it became today, being on the forefront on something new and exciting is always a great opportunity, it's a chance to shine and do your thing."

"Halfway through the day I got bored. Me and Nick jumped on a golf cart and rode by a guy in a suit, and it was Warrior. I can't run but I kind of trotted up. I thought there was going to be a confrontation, but made it clear I wanted to reconcile the friendship. I just want to start over, I want to apologize. If we could be friends that would be incredible. And that darn WWE camera rolled around, and I didn't know they had a camera on me the whole time. I'm so glad I stopped that golf cart, but Warrior was hesitant to accept the apology. Thank God I got to talk to him".

HOF complete:

Chris Jericho says Macho Man Randy Savage's Hall Of Fame induction completes the HOF...

"I think that him not being in the Hall of Fame was a huge omission and almost made the Hall of Fame not legitimate for me, much in the same way of Deep Purple not being in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was not legitimate for me, so I'm super-excited about it. It is much deserved and now, finally, I feel the WWE Hall of Fame is legit. Everybody that needs to be in there — and wasn't because of politics or petty bullsh-t — is now in there, including [Bruno] Sammartino, Bret Hart, the Ultimate Warrior and now Randy Savage being the last on that list. "

Vince Russo has offered a rather controversial view on WWE's motives. He says the last conversation he had with Randy Savage included Macho telling him how bad the Hogan / Macho relationship had become, and while he was not aware about the two men making efforts to patch up their friendship, he said he knows they were not as close as they once where, and were being ''Civil'' to each other.

Goldberg on one more match:

"I could still do it... I'm probably in the best shape of my life right now…I made the statement that I would never consider wrestling over the age of 40 when I was over 40 years old. Here I am two clicks away from the big one (50). Having children changes your outlook 100 percent of your life. If it came to fruition, I would seriously consider it. With that said, it's not going to stop my heart that I didn't attain that by any stretch of the imagination."
