Tonight's news in memoriam of Scott 'Razor Ramon' Hall (1958 - 2022)... Bad times don't last... but bad guys do!

Scott Hall:

The bad guy is dead. Scott 'Razor Ramon' Hall died after his family asked for his life support system to be turned off yesterday, aged 63. He had been in hospital after suffering a fall and breaking his hip. The damage was so severe he needed to have his hip replaced. Complications during the procedure, blood clots detaching from the area and making their way into his blood stream, causing several heart attacks, decimated his body, and he was unable to kick out before the three count fell.

He will be remembered for his Intercontinental Championships, his role in the first ever ladder match in WWF/E, being a founder member of the NWO and his double HOF inductions for WWE, but he also led a colourful and troubled life. He has involved himself in some of the sports most controversial and groundbreaking moments in wrestling, the curtain call, jumping ship to WCW, starting the Monday night wars, and more. His battles with addiction have blighted his whole career. He also, by his own admittance, never got over taking a man's life in a shooting incident outside a nightclub in 1983. He got away with it, due to lack of evidence, but he never forgot or forgave himself for the altercation.

A trail-blazer and a one off, whatever you thought of Scott Hall, you will never forget him. RIP...

WrestleMania:

RK Bro vs Street Prophets for the Red tag gold is now official.

Rey family banished:

Mike Chioda says Rey Mysterio was not allowed to take his family to the WrestleMania 35 after show party...

“A few years ago, at my last WrestleMania in New Jersey, at the end of the night, Rey Mysterio couldn’t get his family in. He didn’t have enough wristbands, that was just two, three years ago. Rey Mysterio and I, we went out and bought bottles of Jack, bought bottles of vodka. Me and my wife, we went out with Rey, and his wife, and his son Dominik. We went outside with Rey and stuff, and I was like Rey, I’ll go in, I’ll get a couple of wristbands, I’ll come back out to you and give them to them, and we’ll just bring everybody in. There were a couple top people on the list, top people in the company that were like, no, you can’t get in if you don’t have the bands. It’s like, you’ve worked for the company for this many years and you’re telling me my family can’t come in? WrestleMania was supposed to be a big thing for you and your family, and it just became so difficult to have fun with the family even at the afterparty. It was very disappointing at times, definitely.”

Mick Foley:

Mick Foley has announced he is launching a podcsat.

Pay to play:

David Arquette says AEW wanted him to pay to compete on their show despite him offering Cody Rhodes a role in the latest Scream movie. He says he understands it was TNT that wanted him to pay for his appearance, but he was hurt by their stance after his promoting the promotion in his film.

Hall Of Fame updates:

Batista has confirmed WWE have promised to honour his Hall Of Fame induction, announced for the 2020 class, despite his being unable to attend the delayed induction, due to Covid, last year. He will be at this years ceremony to support The Undertaker, however it is not expected that he will receive his own belated induction until the following years event, before WrestleMania 39.

The Steiner's induction is looking more likely, as a number of family members are set to be in Dallas for the celebration.

Booker T will induct his wife Sharmell.

WWE unsure of Candice LeRae future:

WWE are said to be torn over the future of Candice LeRae. They have the right via the changed contracts to extend her contract by a year to make up for the maternity leave she is currently taking, but at this time of writing no decision has been made. Her current deal is set to end very soon, and she may want to leave, as her husband Johnny Gargano recently did, WWE are said to be uncertain whether they want their year from her first, or just to leave the deal's end at it's current date and allow her to decide her own fate.

Injury:

Big E is out of the hospital after this broken neck, and will continue his recovery from home.
