Khan talks Cody departure:
“I don’t want to get too deep into it, because a lot of this is personal between me and him. But, I tried to reach a longer agreement with him, beyond what we had for the option years. And it sounded like at one point I think we were going to, honestly. When we couldn’t settle on it, the last thing I wanted to do was keep somebody here that isn’t going to want to be here. So, it didn’t look like we were going to get a longer deal done, and I would have loved to have done it, and I have a lot of respect for him. But, when we didn’t come to terms on that it made it pretty clear where we’re going to end up on things. That being said, I have said nothing but respectful stuff about Cody, and I will continue to.”
Concern for HHH:
Wrestler charged:
Cain Velasquez faces 10 charges over a shooting incident, for which he was arrested yesterday. These include attempted first degree murder, and multiple assault charges. The victim who was sitting in a car with his parents at the time of the attack was recently charged with a sex crime against a child under the age of 14, the child is said to be a relative of Velasquez. He was released on a stay at home order for the sex crime on Feb 25, but he was reportedly not at his residence at the time of the attack. It is alleged he was going to have an electronic tagging device added to his body when Velasquez found him and set about an 11 mile high speed chase before the shooting.
The shooting victim lives in the same building as Cain's mother's day care centre. He is said to have used this to abuse children in her care ''Hundreds of times'', although he claims he only helped children when they needed to use the bathroom, and once pulled up a child's pants after they fell down.
Police say Velasquez's actions have only caused the victims and his own family further pain, and regret that he chose to take punitive action into his own hands.
