There is no war for me at all because there is not one guy on that show that I have ever heard of before, and that is not being snobby – it's just that I don't watch NXT. So, if you want to watch NXT, that is fine. If you want to watch AEW, that is fine as well. They're making all this money, they've got this fame - do you know how many people would want to be them and be in that spot?' Those are the outside people looking in, those are the critics on social media, ya know?. You can tend to get wrapped up in that and caught up, so I took a step back and I thought, man, let me rethink this thing about Sasha taking time off. Especially after she's come back because she looks great. Her body looks like she's filled out, she looks thicker like she's been in the gym training, and enjoying life a little bit and relaxing. And the impact that she's made since she's come back has been like, 'Boom!'"

Chris Jericho says Vince McMahon will take over NXT, now it is on TV, and it will lose everything that has made it what it is now, as a result... "If it's another show on the USA Network - not on FS1, and not on the WWE Network. If it's an official, legitimate, nationwide cable show on the USA Network, do you think Vince McMahon is going to be involved in it? Of course he is!" Jericho exclaimed. "It's Vince McMahon; he is a genius. But here's the thing - I think the appeal of it is that it's its own little entity outside the WWE, and when Vince McMahon gets a hold of it and gets involved with it it is going to become another SmackDown and another RAW. I think you are going to see all three of those shows interacting with one another. I think it's going to be just another WWE show, so whatever the appeal is with NXT, whatever the specialness of it is is going to be changed to another RAW and another SmackDown. I think if you like RAW and SmackDown then you're going to like NXT on Wednesday nights. If you don't, then I don't think you're going to like NXT on Wednesday nights because there's no way that Vince McMahon is going to stay home and not be involved with it. That is what he does, so, great. I think it's another 2 hours of incredible WWE programming on Wednesday nights. If you love WWE then there's more for you to love, and if you don't, then I don't think it's going to make a difference." Backstage news from the company adamantly denies Vince will be involved. Feeling immense gratitude to the current roster of woman who allowed me to dip my toes into their current waters. It was controversial then, and in today's politically correct climate I don't think it would work today. I wish it could; it would be amazing to see a new version of it, but I don't think it would fly today. The backlash would be so severe right now, so it wouldn't be worth the effort. I ended up calling the WWE where I told them that I am waiting just like they are if this is going to get better but it's not getting better and it's been two years, so I told them that I don't think I can wrestle anymore. Then we were talking about a non-wrestling role like a General Manager or something like that and that was the plan. All the time during your injury that you have, they can add that on to your contract. So, I was off for like two years and my contract would have been expired by that time but I figured, okay, I have two years because I was off for two years and that is what they told me. And then one day they called and said that they weren't going to exercise their option to extend it so my contract will be up next month. It was crazy."

Guess what? We'll name her Cloudy? How clever is that? Oh my God! I just sat there and Chris actually said, 'I think it's the stupidest f***ing thing I've ever heard.' I didn't say a word. "I guess probably three weeks prior to him passing away, I didn't, obviously none of us expected it, because he was doing so well, but his birthday … I remember it like it was yesterday. I was in Albany, New York. This was before the brand split. We used to have to go to both RAW and SmackDown television. I wasn't slated to do anything on TV, and so I wanted to surprise him with, I have some 24-carat headphones on when I was Face-Timing with him, and he's, "Oh, those are really nice headphones." I was going to send them to him that Monday, but something just told me, "Hey, just go down and surprise him for his birthday," which was that Monday night. I didn't have anything to do for Tuesday, so I asked Michael Hayes and Vince and Triple H if I could fly down. I gave them the reason as to why, and they, without hesitation, told me yes. Three weeks later, I get the phone call that he's gone. His mom called me about 30 minutes after that and said, "You know, I don't know how I'm going to get through this. You're the only person I know that could possibly help us get through this. Would you mind officiating the funeral?" I was like, I've never done that in my entire life, and I don't like funerals. I've only gone to three in my entire life, much like hospitals. Now I go to hospitals, and I don't have issues, but I used to have an issue going to hospitals, because my grandmother died in a hospice from breast cancer. I watched her erode away. It was just very difficult for me to go to the doctor's office or a hospital for a while, much like a funeral home. But we went. I flew up and I did it. I was so proud and happy that I did. It just gave me a whole other perspective on how powerful people can be regardless of race, religion, or background. When you're just being a good human being, people will gravitate to you. They will love you. They will embrace you. They will celebrate you. Then they also want you to be in their corner as well when they need you the most. I was very happy and fortunate enough to have the opportunity to be one of those people for them at a time that they needed somebody the most."

But I had a private conversation with him long before the Be A Star Rally and heard from his perspective. At that moment I realized the situation he was in where he clammed up and started rambling. He could have been more concise and contrite with his message. But at the end of the day, I'm not one to put anybody in a doghouse forever. I'm not saying he was in the doghouse with me, but I like for men to be men and women to be women and both be transparent, truthful and honest with me.''
