Why JBL left:
JBL reportedly gave WWE 12 months notice that he would be leaving at the end of his current deal, and his departure, one month earlier than planned, is nothing to do with Mauro Ranallo's return. There was pressure earlier this year to cut him loose, from some senior figures backstage, but Vince McMahon adamantly refused to do so. However, he has in the past couple of months become unreliable. Only flying in to TV's on the day of the show, rather than getting in 48 hours before with the rest of the blue crew, which has caused some issues and tensions. He was called out for coming in late for the first time in the past couple of weeks, which may have influenced his decision to go early. He reportedly claims all the travel has burnt him out.
Announcer shake up:
Corey Graves will replace JBL on the blue desk, but will still work Raw too, at least until a permanent replacement is found. He will though leave 205 Live and Main Event. Nigel McGuinness will take the spot on those shows.
Jericho gets moved un-banned:
"I went to Vince and I said, 'Did you see that move AJ did?' Never using the words 'Styles Clash' because I knew Vince might not even know what the move is, but that name is taboo. ... I said he should use it as a finish. Vince said, 'Yes absolutely, use it as a finish.' So I was able to kind of indirectly get the move unbanned by just doing it and not asking for permission and never using the name 'Styles Clash' while taking about it with Vince. Now it's one of AJ's biggest moves."
Sasha talks career frustration:
"I'll be honest about something. I'm a three-time RAW Women's Champion, right, which is awesome. Within a whole year, I'm a three-time Women's Champion, which, to me, is a lot. I am a three-time two-week holder of a championship, so that took away my confidence so much."
