Today's News

Bullet Club:

The Young Bucks have brought Adam Cole into the legendary Bullet Club. They did so at ROH's show last night.

At the same show Bobby Fish won the ROH TV title.

Kurt to return:

Kurt Angle was planning to take a year out of wrestling after leaving TNA. He has already been tempted back once, for a bout vs Rey Mysterio, and will do so again, in the UK in November for ICW.

Ryback:

Tommy Dreamer has discussed the Ryback vs WWE issues...

"I give him respect and props for voicing his opinion, but I look at wrestling from a regular business model. We're here in Toronto and Jose Bautista is the big conversation. 'They should re-sign him.' Well, he's batting about .220 right now and he's 30-some odd years of age, so maybe the Blue Jays are right in not re-signing him. It's different in that that sport is based on athletic ability. However in wrestling, it's based upon what somebody feels – and that somebody would be Vince McMahon – about how he can draw money off of you. There is a way, business-wise, to say if we put everybody's shirts out there, whose shirts are they going to buy? And that's how we can make the decision. To me, if Zack Ryder is the number-one shirt seller, guess what? He should be pushed."

New Day:

New Day have been given an inflatable cereal box to use during their entrance. They debuted it at a live over the weekend.

HOF'er goes home:

Bobby Heenan has been released back into the care of his wife Cynthia, after his recent fall.

NXT stars scary accident update:

Kenneth Crawford has gone through a battery of tests after his scary accident on Friday night, and has thankfully been given the all clear.

Raw tease:

  • Will AJ Styles embrace his ruthless side?
  • Who deserves to challenge The Miz?
  • Where is Dean Ambrose?
  • Is Charlotte running scared?
  • Will Rusev devour Kalisto's 'big heart'?

WWE releases round 2:

A second batch of releases from WWE is expected to come before this month is over.

Triple H praises Irish stars:

"Well because they both have an amazing work ethic. I've known Sheamus for a long time, he's amazingly dedicated, just trains hard and is a sponge for the business. He wants to learn and constantly grow. Becky is the same thing. Becky, from the time I met her and we brought her into the Performance Center, through her time at NXT. Her rate of change and how she's grown as a performer and a character, just captivated the crowd [with] her energy. I always say Becky's energy is infectious. You can't talk to her more than 5 minutes without feeling hyped up and jazzed up. I think that's what works for her, is her personality. But the thing that helps both of them, and I don't know if that's Dublin work ethic or what that is, they're just very hard workers and that's what it takes to get to the top of the game in WWE."

Was WWE vs TNA incident authorised by office?:

Dave Meltzer says the WWE office would have been informed about the angle Evolve ran at their show over the weekend, as they would not jeopardise their new relationship with WWE.

Christopher Daniels talks TNA issues / Dixie Carter:

"I certainly think if her mentality is keeping control of the company is keeping it from going forward in a business sense, people need to take a step back and look at that and see what everything is holding people up. If TNA is in such a position that they need to sell now and need a rapid influx of capital, and the thing is holding it up is them being insistent on maintaining control, that speaks for itself."

Extreme Rules:

Kalisto vs Rusev for the US title has been confirmed for the next WWE PPV.

Cameron explains herself:

Cameron says she ripped on fans and supported Ryback on Twitter, because she was trying to start a heel gimmick to present to WWE.
