WWE man sent home:
Ryback may be through with WWE. He had a meeting with Vince McMahon at Raw yesterday, where Vince offered him a new deal. Ryback did not like the offer, and talks broke down, becoming so fractious that he was sent home from the event. His current deal runs out in the summer, and he has openly talked about his frustrations with his current status, going so far as to say he is considering other options just a couple of weeks ago.
Ryback asked to be taken out of the stories, so he could sit out his remaining contract at home. He confirmed this during a long blog earlier today. He also said his issues are not with money, but are with wrestling in general. He has being falling out of love with WWE and the grap game since last years SummerSlam, and is tired of the toll it is taking on his life. He says he will stay at home until he and Vince either come to an agreement that suits both sides, or his deal expires, and he will quietly leave.
Injury:
WWE Alum, and current TNA knockout, Maria Kanellis has broken her hand.
ROH boss talks their owners interest in buying TNA:
"You know, rumors are rumors and that's exactly what they are. We're in business, our business happens to be wrestling. We're a company that is brought deals all the time, we have the resources to purchase, grow, and consolidate, I think there's a natural assumption that Sinclair is going to buy every wrestling company that comes down the pike When it happens and it's true well know it's true. I read a lot of stuff and I couldn't believe it. I don't comment on that stuff because it doesn't matter. I don't know where all this stuff comes from."
Clear the air talks:
Bret Hart and Triple H had a 30 minute meeting before Payback on Sunday. Bret is often critical of WWE, and in particular Hunter. No signs of tension appeared between the two men, but further details are unavailable at this time.
