WWE raid Japan:
WWE have raided NJPW's locker room, and have signed some major names to deals. AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Karl Anderson, and former star Luke Gallows all handed in their notices to NJPW yesterday, and will leave soon. Some of the stars listed still have ROH dates to fulfill, going as far as February, but will all eventually report to WWE NXT. As well as that Nakamura has an NJPW title to drop.
They may not be the last as WWE are also after Rocky Romero and Tama Tonga.
SmackDown:
John Cena, IC and Diva's title matches will be featured on the debut episode of SmackDown on the USA Network.
Royal Rumble:
Chris Jericho returned on Raw last night, and announced himself for the Royal Rumble match. Ryback, Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, Braun Strowman and Dolph Ziggler have also taken spots, meaning 10 of the 30 berths in the match are now taken.
The biggest news about this years event was made on Raw last night. For only the second time in WWE history, the WWE Championship will be on the line in the Royal Rumble match. Vince McMahon told Roman Reigns that he must defend his gold against the rest of the roster.
New faction:
Heath Slater has formed the ''Social Outcasts'' which comprises of himself, Curtis Axel, Bo Dallas and Adam Rose.
Charlotte:
Charlotte turned heel on Becky Lynch last night.
TNA champ returning:
James Storm says he is still a free agent, despite making a return to TNA this week. He says he has a meeting with TNA planned, but has not signed any deals with anyone.
Raw:
Funaki was backstage at Raw last night.
TNA:
TNA debut on Pop tonight.
WWE Network:
Germany and Japan now have the WWE Network.
