Curry Man:


Christopher Daniels will reprise his Curry man gimmick this weekend, for an ROH title shot vs Roddy Strong.


WrestleMania 33:


WWE are working out the logistics to take WrestleMania 2017 back to Orlando, Florida, before officially confirming the location of the biggest event of next year.


Dana White confirms CM Punk's first fight:


"I'm bringing Mickey Gall in and he's going to fight a kid named Michael Jackson. They're going to fight on the prelims on February 6th on Fight Pass and if he wins that fight, Mickey Gall will fight CM Punk and CM Punk will be there at the fight to watch."


NXT:


Carmella has earned a shot at the NXT Women's title, by winning a battle royal.

The winners of the first NXT awards have also been announced...


  • Tag Team of the year - Enzo & Cass.
  • Female competitor of the year - Bayley.
  • Male competitor of the year - Finn Balor.
  • TakeOver of the year - Brooklyn.
  • Match of the year - Bayley vs. Sasha (NXT TakeOver: Brookyln).
  • Overall competitor of the year - Finn Balor.


WrestleMania 32:


The Rock will not wrestle at Mania 32, as WWE are still unable to sort out insurance for him. The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar's statuses are in limbo, as both of their planned opponents are out of the event, and no back up plans are yet in place, and the main event has been leaked, and apparently will be Roman Reigns vs Triple H.


Steve Austin has also confirmed his involvement in the show, but says he is sworn to secrecy as to what he will be doing, and Stephanie McMahon has all but confirmed she will be wrestling at the event, saying she has started her ring training.


NXT debuts:


Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson are set to start work with NXT in early March.



She's coming:


WWE are currently working on bringing Sister Abigail into the storylines, as a physical member of the Wyatt Family. She has been a spiritual member of the group since they started.



Hall Of Fame:


The WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony has sold out.



The Brood:


Gangrel has revealed the original line up of The Brood was not the one that made it to TV. He says Edge pulled strings to replace the original third man with Christian, who took the spot of TNA legend Christopher Daniels.



Backstage tussle over Tyler Breeze:


Triple H personally signed off on the promotion of Tyler Breeze to the main roster, and had big plans for him, however Vince McMahon did not see in him what Hunter sees, and killed his push, and US title run.



Flair denies heat with WWE:


Ric Flair says he was not upset or angry with WWE using his son's death as an angle on Raw...


"It was said that I was upset, but I wasn't. Those kind of things are going to happen periodically. The emotion is real. She and Reid were very, very close. I certainly wasn't offended by what happened. I just don't like to see her cry. That was somebody's thought, and she ok'd it. They said, do you mind if we do this?' And she said, 'No. I don't mind at all.' It's the business, and sometimes things that are real come across in a way that the people are mad about it, but if I'm not mad, and Charlotte's not mad, and we're the key players."

Matt Taven has finally had knee surgery on an injury he suffered before Christmas.



John Cena:


John Cena is earning $10M per annum from his WWE career, it has been revealed today (By Meltzer).



Hulk Hogan:


Hulk Hogan's court case against Gawker will go ahead, and will start on March 7.



Jake top of the pops:


Jake The Snake's film is top of the I-Tunes sports chart.



Royal Rumble:


WWE have teamed up with an events company in the UK to host four Royal Rumble viewing parties around the country. London, Leeds, Brighton and Manchester have been selected as the venues for the get togethers.
