Today's News

TMZ vs Wrestling:

US entertainment website TMZ took the decision to release audio of Dusty Rhodes wife making the emergency phone call after his fall, that resulted in his death. They say the telephonist was rude and abrupt in her handling of the emotional situation.

Mrs. Runnels said, after a while of waiting for the EMT's...

"I need help. My husband has fallen. He's very sick. I need help."

To which she had this spat back at her...

"They're coming as fast as they can. Me talking to you is not stopping them."

Clearly this was rude, unprofessional, and severely lacking in empathy for the distraught lady, but wrestling has not taken kindly to the breach of the family's privacy. X-Pac was one of many left angry by the story, he wrote an impassioned letter to the site, slamming their behaviour as callous and sensationalist.

Dusty's funeral is currently taking place in Florida.
