WWE are teasing bringing back the ''Freebird rule'' to give The New Day a run with the titles, possibly as early as WrestleMania, they still are uncertain who will get the shot at the belts at this months super show.

Taryn Terrell and MVP have re-signed with TNA.

WrestleMania stars told to shine:

Hall Of Famers Scott Hall, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart and Mick Foley have urged the contenders in the Intercontinental Championship ladder match to step up and to steal the show.

WWE are looking for actors to play scarecrows at the show, but it is not clear if it is for Sting or Bray Wyatt.

The Rock:

The Rock has been given a hosting role on Saturday Night Live on March 28. Less positive news for the great one though, a mansion he has been renting for two years has been ''Trashed'' and the owners want $80,000 in compensation.

TNA:

Matt Hardy tweeted a picture of his friend The Hurricane, from backstage at TNA's tapings last night,
and teased an announcement would follow.

TNA have decided to strip the Tag Team Championship from The Wolves. They had been in two minds of what to do in the wake of Eddie Edwards heel injury, but were leaning on leaving the belts where they were, as they have a number of episodes in the can waiting to air, more currently taping, and have cancelled the April tapings, giving him more time to recover, but with a newly announced mega block of tapings in May, and Edwards out until early June, they have decided that would leave too long a gap without Tag Champs on their show, so had the team vacate the belts last night.

Austin talks match vs Punk:

“I like what he brings to the ring. Very controlled, very precise, great psychology. Half the battle is, you got to be in an angle that grabs people by their heart and souls to get people in the building. CM Punk cuts a great promo. Him spinning off me, me spinning off him, that means money.”

WWE top 10... Sheamus:

Gimmick change nixed:

Diggs Rawlis has returned to that ring name, WWE briefly changed it to Michael Carter, but have decided to drop the change.

WWE re-sign officials:

WWE have given three top execs new deals, worth as much as $3 Million, which will include a large share portfolio for each. Interestingly including Kevin Dunn. Dunn is very much a Vince guy, and with Triple H and Stephanie taking more and more control, it has long been thought that Dunn would soon be on his way out (Triple H is not a fan). However this deal not only extends his contract, at a much improved pay scale, it also includes a one year no compete style deal, which would stop the three execs from working with any other promotion for a year.

This is a sign of two things, firstly Vince is not ready to go away quietly into the night, and is very much still in control, and Kevin Dunn is obviously feeling very much more secure in his employment in Stamford than he was.

Bill DeMott:

WWE officials have been expecting the DeMott ''Timebomb'' to explode for some time, and are relieved it finally has. A backstage leak has slammed the exaggerated accusations against the former head coach at NXT, but did concede that the cameras were put into the PC to monitor DeMott's actions toward talent, and that the investigation against him was flawed and heavily criticised.

WWE star returns:

Brad Maddox is back on the road this weekend, after almost a year away from TV.

SummerSlam:

Is now sold out, the tickets only went on general sale this morning.
