Today's News

The Undertaker:

WWE have updated the injury status of The Undertaker, after his WrestleMania defeat...

"WWE.com can confirm that, following last's night historic match with Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker was immediately taken to Ochsner Medical Center. After a CT scan and other medical testing, he was diagnosed with a severe concussion and was kept overnight for further evaluation. He was discharged early Monday afternoon."

The injury was so bad during the match, that Brock Lesnar had to lead the dead man through the entire match, Taker could not focus, and was very confused after hitting his head on the floor outside of the ring.

More on the end of the streak has been made public, confirming that only 4 people in the back, and the two men in the ring knew the result. In fact, most not only did not know that Taker was going to lose, but had actually been told the opposite, and that Taker was going over. That is why there was no music after the match, they had Taker's ready to play, not that of Lesnar, and the genuine surprise of Paul Heyman, who apparently did not know the planned result either.

"It was incredibly heavy. Here I am with two titles, they're both probably 25 pounds each. I'm just as happy as can be but I just wrestled two matches and I was exhausted. I was trying to do this (yes chant) and I was like, 'oh my gosh I'm so tired.'"

WWE Network:

WWE are disappointed to have missed out on getting to one million subscribers by WrestleMania. They are now contemplating raising the monthly price to either $11.99 or $12.99 to make up for the shortfall.
