Today's News

Today's photo is dedicated to the memories of the 96 Liverpool FC fans that died on this day 25 years ago in the Hillsborough Disaster. RIP YNWA JFT96.

Sting:

PWI say they can confirm that Sting has his WWE contract, but has not signed it yet. In a possible worrying move, WWE were removing all Sting signs from fans entering last night's Raw. This could be to try to maintain the surprise, or they could be worried he has changed his mind, we will have to wait and see on that.

TV vs WWE:

DirecTV have dropped all WWE PPV events from their schedule. Dish TV, who have been the most vocal against the WWE Network have also refused to add Extreme Rules to their schedule. Both companies say they reserve the right to change their decision. WWE responded by advising their fans to order through the Network, or other cable companies.

Raw:

Last night's Raw was dedicated to the Ultimate Warrior. WWE gave masks to fans attending the show.

Also a tournament began to crown a No 1 contender for the IC Title, the winner will get a shot at Extreme Rules. However it will not be the originally planned opponent. Alberto Del Rio was eliminated in round 1, no word on why WWE pulled him from this angle.

Evolution reunited as a 3 man group. WWE accidentally spoilt the angle, airing the Evolution video briefly during Bad News Barrett''s entrance.

Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella were given the week off, they are on honeymoon.

Extreme Rules:

John Cena vs Bray Wyatt in a steel cage is confirmed for the next WWE event.

Daniel Bryan vs Kane will be added, not clear if the title will be on the line as yet.

Kane:

Kane wrote a cryptic tweet yesterday, he wrote...

"The time has come to stop wearing this mask and come home."

Is he contemplating retirement?.

TNA signings:

Gunner has signed a multi year deal to stay with TNA, and Low Ki (Kaval) is expected to sign on for the promotion soon, after impressing at a One Night Only earlier this week.

Worries for The Undertaker:

Bill DeMott has started some concern for the health of The Undertaker. He tweeted to his wife Michelle McCool that he was praying for her. She replied Taker was the strongest man she knew.

Ultimate Warrior:

The Ultimate Warrior's estate have sent cease and desist notices to over 100 sellers, that have begin using his logo and likeness to sell merch in the wake of his death.

Jeff Jarrett:

Jeff Jarrett has announced 25/7 will produce his GWF TV shows, when they get a deal in place.
