DDP was not happy with Nancy Grace's TV show that he appeared on...

"First of all, I wanted to leave. Oh my god, this woman was so nice to me when I walked in there. Once she started hitting me with that deal, I got scared. I go 'Oh my god, she set me up, so should I get up and walk away? How is that going to make the business look?' I breathed, I focused on breathing. The only thing I could think of at that time was that WWE has the best wellness program, better than the NBA, NFL, MLB, so I think that is fighting for the company. I thought about firing back at her (Nancy Grace), but it was a really weird situation. I can't put that b---h over. I can't talk about her anymore, I want to strangle her. The last thing I want to be is in that position. The way it was told to me is that I saw four questions. I said 'I don't know about this' and Nancy Grace said 'No, it's gonna be a feel good piece.' When I walked in there, she was so sweet to me. She totally set me up."

Cruelest rib in wrestling?:

Jonathan Coachman has remembered a prank on him by WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, where he called the cops to legit arrest him...

"Basically, Jerry Brisco came up to me in 2001 in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and he said he wanted me to run a football pool. $10 to pick all the games, and everybody did it. And I started on a Tuesday, it was a Smackdown taping, I'll never forget it. I had my own room I did interviews in, and all the sudden two cops show up. They were very serious, and said I understand you're running a gambling pool. You sold one to one of our undercover cops here. It's a felony in North Carolina and we're going to have to take you in. So we're walking down the hallway, and we stop in front of Vince's office, and they said we should probably let him know because you're not going to be here for a while. We walk in and it's Vince, Triple H, Stephanie, The Rock, Kevin Dunn and Jerry Brisco. I should have known that, with Jerry in the room, something was going on, but I was so terrified because I was 26 years old. The real cops proceeded to tell Vince they've caught me in a gambling pool and we need to take him downtown. Vince got in my face, and he was an inch away from my nose. He was cursing, telling me my priorities were bad, and spending company time to run a gambling pool. This entire riff lasted 45 minutes. At the end of the office bit, the officer said it was $1,500 to get me out, and Vince said F-no, he's on his own. They handcuffed me, and I asked if there was anything I could put over my face. Vince threw me a pair of sweaty gym shorts that got stuck on my face. I walked out of the office and the first person I see is The Undertaker. He looks at me with shock, and it was so real because no one else was in on it except those people in the office. They walked me out, and all the fans could see me and they drove me about a mile down the road, and got a call on the radio that they had to come back to pick up something. They turn around, come back, and everyone's there with Vince in front of everybody laughing their asses off. Greatest rip in the history of the business, and for about 10 minutes I literally walked to a place in the building and started crying. I thought my career was over. I thought how can I tell my dad I got fired over a $10 football pool."

TNA star looking at moving away from wrestling:

Bully Ray says he wants to get into acting...

"I'm looking into films and other things right now ... I am looking to branch my career out a little bit more into acting ... I think I fit certain roles, I'll use as an example a guy like James Gandolfini in 'The Sopranos'. I think that type of role I could pull off real well, just with my natural personality."

Goldberg on one more match:

"Would I love to do it again and have my son and my wife, who has never seen me wrestle? Abso-damn-lutely. Would I jeopardize what I've done in the wrestling world just to make that happen? No. So if I wasn't ready to do it, physically ready to do it, and it wasn't the right situation, I wouldn't do it just to do it. If that was the case, I'd probably be at WrestleMania this year. It just has to be right and if it's not right, then I'm retired, for good."

He will announce whether he plans to stay with TNA, or go back to WWE in December. He added that wherever he ends up will be his last employer, but that he still has 5 years left in him, so it will not be one more run.

Roman Reigns:

The current Evolution vs The Shield story is being used to push Roman Reigns to the top of the WWE roster. The two groups will feud for a few months leading to a match for Roman vs Triple H at SummerSlam, from which he will go on into the title stories, getting a title match at either Hell In A Cell or Survivor Series.

Nash vs Piper:

Kevin Nash and Rowdy Roddy Piper are slating each other on the internet today. Kevin Nash took offense to Piper telling a backstage story about him during their WCW days, and called him a...

''Deranged old fool''

He then spent some time challenging Piper to back his words up by inviting him on to his podcast.

The offending comments seem to have been made on Piper's first podcast, he said he had a horrible match with Nash, and that he could not work. He also said he did not respect the veterans and felt he knew better, and was a liar. Before talking about a backstage incident where he accuses Nash of coming into his locker room and telling Piper he was the boss, and Piper should know his place, to which Piper pushed him out of his room by charging at his legs. He was later told by either Eric Bischoff or Ric Flair (He couldn't remember which) that Nash had a banged up knee, which he (Piper) did not know about before, but if he did would have made a point of going after.

Nash accuses Piper of going after the leg deliberately, and says that he got the better of the fight.

TNA vs Jeff Jarrett:

TNA have told all rostered talent not to take photo's with either Jeff Jarrett or his wife Karen. Some stars that have appeared in pictures with the couple, cheekily posted to the GWF Twitter account, have received huge heat from officials.

TNA are also dealing with some upset talent. Stars that were booked to lose to new or returning stars at the last One Night Only's have been critical of the decision, saying it makes them look weak to lose to unsigned talent, and is counter productive.

Today's News

Mick Foley defends CM Punk:

After sharing this photo of CM Punk on his social media, Mick Foley was clearly saddened or offended by criticism of the former WWE champion from his followers. He has defended CM today with this statement...

''Yes, the response to that funny photo of CM Punk on a milk carton was incredible. While I respect everybody's opinion – as long as it is given in a respectful way, I have to disagree with those out there who find great fault in Punk's simply walk away. I am kind of like a ghost that drifts in and out of WWE, but in my past three years of drifting, I have never been to a WWE event where Punk was not in considerable pain. Ice packs, heating pads, and visits to the trainer were as much a part of his daily routine as eating. sleeping, and wrestling. Performing at that level, in that degree of pain was only possible when accompanied by the passion that turned an unlikely Indy kid into one of the greatest WWE superstars of his generation. Once that passions gone, then so are all of the things that made him great. I know what it feels like to go through the motions, and to do what needs to be done solely for the paycheck. It's not pretty – and though I have not talked to Punk since the night before he left, I have to believe he has too much respect for what he does to let people see him going through the motions. If or when that day comes when CM punk returns to WWE, I hope it's with that same passion that made so many of you care about him to begin with.''

AJ Styles on worries for TNA:

''I've heard and been told, it's been horribly mismanaged as a company. I don't know if they're going out of business. But they're definitely doing things that make people think they're going out of business. And I hope they don't. I hope TNA doesn't go out of business because I have a lot of good friends that work there and deserve to be in the national spotlight. My hope is that they never go out of business.''

He also opened the door to Jeff Jarrett's new promotion, saying he would like to be involved.

CM Punk:

WWE insiders have confirmed CM Punk is still receiving his royalty cheques for his merch, which is a big earner, second only to John Cena. It was also noted that Punk is not suspended, fired, or released, but is simply taking some leave.

Triple H:

Triple H suffered a muscle injury at WrestleMania 30.

Title changes:

WWE have had to change their Diva's title plans again, this time a planned rematch between AJ and Paige at Extreme Rules, dropped after AJ requested time off the road, Tamina has got the match instead.

The IC stories are also being chopped and changed. The original plan of Big E. vs Alberto Del Rio was dropped in favour of Christian, but his injury meant they were going to have a four way qualifier match on Raw, with Cesaro or Big Show winning. Vince did not like that idea, and told creative to write a tournament angle instead, feeling it would make the challenger look stronger.

Cesaro is expected to be the man to get the shot at Extreme Rules, but plans are changing constantly so he may not, but WWE do have big plans for the Swiss this year.

Rey Mysterio:

Rey is injured... again. And again it is his knee, WWE have given him time off to rest and spend time with his new child. They will, over the next year, transition him from the ring into an ambassadorial role, so his ring days are coming to an end.

Milestone for Ambrose:

Dean Ambrose is 10 days away from becoming the longest reigning US champion in the WWE era of the title. If he can hang on, he will take the 343 day record of MVP, who now works with TNA, after snubbing WWE... coincidence?.

Cesaro:

WWE are working on theme music for Cesaro, but feel having none is a talking point for him.

WWE also hope to recreate the fan push, previously seen for Daniel Bryan, for Cesaro. They will continue to book him as a heel, while he continues to portray a face, WWE hope the fans will push for him to be turned face, only for them to ignore the fans and book him as a stronger heel every week, until finally Cesaro has enough and switches role himself, leading to a match vs Brock Lesnar for the WWE title later in the summer.

Ultimate Warrior:

The wife of the Ultimate Warrior, Dana, has thanked WWE, it's stars, and you, the fans in a letter today...

Dearest Warriors,

It is with an absolutely broken heart I reach out to you. Since the passing of my husband, I have been fortunate enough to insulate my sweet girls and myself from the outside world. In this bubble we have grieved and continue to do so. For a week, I did not allow any television or media to seep through our cocoon. I was told, though, of the outpouring of love for my beloved husband and support for, as he always called us, his Warrior Girls. I can only say thank you.

On Sunday night, I was told WWE would pay tribute to Warrior and so I set the DVR planning to watch it when we were ready. As the hour neared, I broke resolve and turned on every TV in the house to full blast and snuggled our daughters close to me on the couch, unsure what we would see. As the scene unfolded with that amazing roster of talent gathered donning Ultimate Warrior shirts and even his face paint, we cheered and sobbed simultaneously. To everyone who stood there, thank you. My girls will remember your bowed heads for the rest of their lives. You are not just Superstars; you are super people.

I cannot put words to what that video tribute meant. We watched it multiple times and, this morning, it was how I started my day; mornings are the hardest for me. I will treasure that song and those images more than anything I own. Vindication. ULTIMATE PERFECTION.

I was told it was reported WWE was "there" for us. "There" is the understatement of a lifetime. They were a warm blanket to us three and we were quickly absorbed into their family. Words are cheap; promises are forever. This family is one I'm honored to be a member of and will gladly be the warm blanket to any of them who need me next.

My husband's speech had so many highlights for me as I sat proudly in the audience looking on at his moment ... I most loved his request for the Hall of Fame to include the, as he called them, "true Superstars," those behind-the-scenes people who make the machine run. See, I'm the person who puts up the ring in our house. I'm the background person who makes things happen seamlessly. I am surrounded by performers in my husband and children, so I felt a kinship with all the people he wanted to shine a spotlight upon who make WWE work. He loved you all, and knew that each of you made his run there possible. Thank you!

To all the ULTIMATE WARRIOR fans: THANK YOU!! He told me when he shook the ropes it was him gathering strength from each of you. Warrior respected you and loved you as do the girls and I. I will reach out to the ropes for your strength to sustain me in the sad days that the girls and I face. UNWAVERING is what you've been. GRATEFUL is what we are.

The Undertaker and I have a lot more in common than you might think. You see, I had a bit of a streak of my own going for the last 20 years. Yes, Warrior and I would have matches of our own ... He would yell, I would cry, he would submit, I would win - always. My quivering chin and "pooched" lip was always more powerful than any clothesline or gorilla press slam. He'd laugh and shake his head and say,"you win, Pooch," but really we both did.

My streak was broken April 8, 2014 when he collapsed. I fought and screamed and cried for him not to leave me, but I wasn't to win this round. Heaven won and I lost, but I had the ULTIMATE love for 20 years and my children learned to be Warriors from THE ULTIMATE DAD. I wouldn't trade a moment of the life we shared, good or bad, for anything on God's green earth. He is the love of my life and gave me the gift of our beautiful, sweet, amazing girls. He was loyal and kind and strong and brave. He taught me to live by his creed,"Live Strong, Act Bold, Be Brave. Nothing's too hard to do, ALWAYS BELIEVE," and with that creed I will carry on and make him proud.

Streaks are broken but legends live forever.

Always Believe,

Dana A. Warrior
