Today's News

Jim Ross criticises WWE:

In reference to the poor buys of SummerSlam Jim Ross it seems thinks it is time to lessen the amount of events WWE hold, saying with WWE it is too often a case of same old, same old...

''Too often major storylines are 1. over thought and 2. over exposed in largely a 'sameness' presentation on free TV to make them feel special enough for one to want to invest significant money on PPV to see more... I'm a believer that TV ratings can be achieved without giving away multiple, PPV attractions but only if long term, creative planning is firmly in place. Changing things on the fly and making 11th hour decisions regarding direction, etc will never be a successful formula. PPV's should generally feature one of two things. if not both, in different, main event level bouts, 1. The 'blow off' of a well told storyline or 2. The first bout of a well set up issue. It gets very tricky when one is trying to get multiple, PPV's out of two talents on successive PPV events. It can be done but it's getting harder and harder or so it seems."

We can Twerk it out:

Brooke Tessmacher has taken TNA camera's into a dance class with her, she was learning to Twerk...

Matt Striker:

Matt Striker posted an offensive joke on his Twitter yesterday, (Since deleted) regarding the Boston marathon tragedy...

"Ill get sh*t for this but if there's a tragedy at this Sunday's NY Marathon then that means the Knicks will be NBA champs."

TNA still say they are not for sale, but are open to listening to offers.

The person above is not the only interested party, a ''Major celebrity'' is also said to be interested in buying.

* James Storm vs. Bobby Roode

WWE 50:

Survivor Series:

Oldschool fans take heart. WWE are still considering Big Show vs Randy Orton to main event this months Survivor Series PPV, but are currently working on a ''Major'' tag team elimination match to end the show. It would be the first time since 2005 that the traditional match would headline the PPV.

Big Show vs Triple H is now penciled in for TLC in December.

Also on Survivor Series, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan were set to feud with The Shield at the PPV right up until WWE started the feud for the show on the post HIAC Raw. The change was made at the last minute on the day, because WWE want to elevate Bray Wyatt up the card.

Stephanie McMahon:

WWE have added ''Wrestler'' to Stephanie McMahon's job title, so her ring return is coming.

This, coupled with the news that Cody Rhodes wife Brandi is returning to the WWE this week, leads me to think that maybe the McMahon's vs The Rhodes match at Survivor Series is becoming a real possibility.

WWE list WCW losers:

10 - Lodi

8 - Rick Fuller
7 - The Maestro
6 - High Voltage
5 - El Dandy
4 - Lenny Lane
3 - The Mulkeys

John Cena on World Championship:

John Cena says the World Title is a ''Second tier'' championship, but said him defending the belt at WrestleMania 30 would lift it back up...

"This is not taken as a shot of disrespect to anyone who has held the title before me, but it's now viewed as a second-tier championship. (Defending it at WrestleMania 30) will truly put a stamp on making it the real deal. I want the WWE universe to realize that it's not a second-tier championship. It should be treated with as much respect as the WWE title."

QUESTION OF THE DAY...

Who do you think the mystery possible buyer for TNA is???
