WWE counting fail?:
It is being speculated that WWE were holding off on announcing the recent releases until their no compete rule would have ruled the talent out of the first AEW PPV on May 25. If that is the case, someone in WWE has made a mathematical fail, the 90 days rule will end days before the AEW show, not after it, as is said to have been the plan.
Cody Rhodes has already expressed interest in bringing Tye Dillinger to AEW.
TJP, contrary to some reports, asked for his release from the company, seemingly after being angered that a creative idea he took to the office was given to Buddy Murphy instead of himself.
