Cody in surgery:


Cody Rhodes is having surgery on his knee injury from late last year, today. He says he took the choice reluctantly, but, could not afford any more stinkers, like his last NJPW match.


New champ:


Mayu won the WOH title for ROH last night.


Rousey mocks WWE star's MMA career:


Ronda Rousey took aim at Sonya Deville today...

"I don't know if you can really call two amateur fights an MMA background. She was never really a professional, she dabbled in it. She seems like a hobbyist to me. Two of them declared that they are in it and good for them if they think they are going to really win. They kind of have their own tension between them and have a lot of inner betrayals in their own team. I don't know. We'll see how well they do, but I think that there's a lot of other teams that have a lot more solid bond than they do."

When asked if she should be saying that, Rousey answered with, "Why? She said s--- about me getting kicked in the head. F--- her!" leading to Sonya mocking her for being butthurt.


Graves defends controversial Alum:


Corey Graves says he stands by his former coach, Bill DeMott, who was fired from WWE for his controversial training methods....

''I still stand by Bill DeMott. We weren’t always best friends, but there was no malice whatsoever. It wasn’t until people started complaining that getting PAID TO TRAIN was too hard for them, that it became an issue.''

Titus O'Neil represented WWE at the Grammy's this past weekend.

Jay White has captured the NJPW IWGP title, beating Hiroshi Tanahashi.


Ibushi refuses offer:


Kenny Omega told reporters he would keep the door open for Kota Ibushi to join AEW when he was ready, upon his signing last week. Ibushi though today emphatically ruled the idea out, saying he was staying in Japan with NJPW.

WWE issue warning:


WWE have warned their investors about the potential loss of Vince McMahon. They say the distraction of XFL, injury, death, or unexpected termination of his WWE role could negatively affect their product...

"In addition to serving as Chairman of our Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. McMahon leads the creative team that develops the storylines and the characters for our programming (including our television, WWE Network and other programming) and live events. From time to time, Mr. McMahon has also been an important member of our cast of performers. The loss of Mr. McMahon due to unexpected retirement, disability, death or other unexpected termination for any reason could have a material adverse effect on our ability to create popular characters and creative storylines or could otherwise adversely affect our operating results. Mr. McMahon has established Alpha Entertainment LLC, to explore investment opportunities across the sports entertainment landscapes, and Alpha Entertainment LLC plans to launch a professional football league in early 2020 . While he has provided the Company assurances that his focus on WWE will not be diverted by these efforts, any such diversion or perception of such diversion could adversely affect our operating results and could have a material adverse effect on our stock price."

The company have advised that they are also aware of the decline in live attendances, but added that they have a solution they plan to implement.

AJ Styles worked his first match since Royal Rumble over the weekend.


Harper ready:


Harper is scheduled to be brought back to TV this week on SmackDown.


WWE TV:


WWE have secured a TV deal in Greece.


New intake:


A new group of PC stars started work today, including Trevor Lee, ex of Impact.


Top star deep in talks:


Batista is deep into talks about a WrestleMania 35 match, but has also been made an offer by AEW, and is said to be entertaining the option.


Sell out:


AEW's first PPV has sold all of it's tickets. It will be held in Las Vegas in May.


Jeri-Cruise:


AEW will be involved in the next Chris Jericho cruise.
