Clash Of The Champions:
Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will fight to save their WWE careers at Clash this month. Their opponents Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura. This comes after Shane McMahon made the decree that should they lose they would be dropped by SD and be ineligible to sign for rivals Raw. In a further twist, Shane will referee the bout.
Rusev and Aiden English have won entry into the Tag gold match up.
Aries signs:
Austin Aries has signed a 6 month deal with the UK promotion Defiant.
Alum can't come back:
In a statement aimed at reducing his financial responsibility to his ex wife, RVD has stated he can no longer work for WWE. He claims a concussion he suffered last year has left him visually impaired, and therefore WWE won't touch him. They have also axed his merch deal with them. He further added that he is too old to continue earning from the business.
Rock star:
The Rock has been granted a star on the Hollywood walk of fame. A ceremony will be held next Wednesday to install it. He is the second wrestling star to be honoured, after Vince McMahon, but is not being recognised for his ring career, but for his movie stardom.
DZ ready to leave:
Dolph Ziggler is hinting his time with WWE may soon come to an end. He told Edge and Christian's podcast that he is frustrated with his position in the company and feels constantly being held down has affected his credibility. He also criticised WWE using him as a stepping stone for new stars. He believes his regular losses to NXT promoted stars is not going to make them look better if they continually make him look ordinary by having him lose all the time.
He did though say he was proud that he survived his cheerleader days to have a decade long career with WWE, but hinted that he may have reached his peak for them, and moving on was on his mind.
Flair call:
Ric Flair is offering to make personal telephone calls to anyone that spends $100 on his webstore over the holiday season.
Bret Hart:
Bret Hart has filed a million $ lawsuit over a botched surgery on his wrist which cost him use of his thumb and one finger.
JBL honours promise:
JBL was back at work with WWE last night for the Tribute To The Troops taping.
Matt Morgan reveals nixed WWE gimmick:
Before stuttering Matt Morgan, WWE had planned to call him Abel, and reveal him as Kane's brother...
"The cool part was they were going to turn this into, I was gonna be Kane's brother Abel. And I would've killed for that! I would've worn a hood gladly for that just because I'm a huge 'Taker and Kane fan. What leads to Kane leads to 'Taker, right? Nine-year-old Matt Morgan inside was going bananas."
Reby WWE:
WWE have interviewed Reby Hardy today, for the new Hardyz DVD.
Earl changes mind:
Iconic referee Earl Hebner has flipped turned on his view of WWE. The Impact HOF'er was recently released by the former TNA, and now says he would consider a WWE return, something he has been strongly opposed too when asked in the past...
"I would love to go back to WWE and finish my life in this business right there. Vince McMahon was always good to me, and he gave me the opportunity to be who I am and what I am. I would love to go back and, if nothing else, do one more match to say thank you very much for what you've done for me."
Vince says yes:
Matt Hardy will have creative freedom over his new gimmick in WWE. The boss himself is so excited by where it could be going that he personally signed off on Matt taking control of the angles.
