Steve Austin:

Steve Austin did host his Network podcast with Paige last night after all, WWE aired their tribute to Roddy during Raw, rather than on the Network after, as was originally planned.

SummerSlam:

Seth Rollins issued a challenge to John Cena, title for title, for SummerSlam. This match is not confirmed, as WWE do not know if Cena will be back in time, but they want to have a match ready for him to come back for if he is. No word on what plan b will be for Rollins, if Cena cannot compete.

Stephen Amell will be on Raw next week, where his role at SummerSlam will be confirmed.

WWE sign fan:

Elijah Mainville, who is currently having his fourth battle with cancer, signed his honourary WWE deal after Raw went off air last night, he also picked his WWE name, Drax Shadow. Here he is pictured with Stardust, who was the star he wanted to help him sign his deal.

''Pro wrestlers need to stop fighting with danawhite.  If the matches looked more realistic, then people wouldn't treat it condescendingly. The fact that BrockLesnar doesn't cripple everyone he wrestles in WWE with his bare hands makes danawhite's argument for him. Wrestlers are going to have to fight for real from now on in their matches to prove danawhite wrong.  Should be an interesting show.''

WWE have named August 22 as Ultimate Warrior day.

Chael Sonnen:

Chael Sonnen has caused some controversy after claiming Roddy Piper has given him permission to use the Piper's Pit name for himself. He said Jeff Jarrett had reached out to get Piper's permission for Chael to do one at a GFW event, and Piper reportedly said if he liked what Sonnen did with the first one, he would pass on the torch, and Sonnen could run with it.

The divide is growing between WWE and Chyna. Her manager called the WWE offices to ask about missing royalty payments, and was told that no calls regarding her were to be accepted by anyone in the office.
